      "he": "כָּל אָדָם חַיָּב לָדַעַת שֶׁלֹּא יָקֵל בְּמַחֲשַׁבְתּוֹ, וְשֶׁלֹּא יְרַמֶּה עַצְמוֹ שֶׁעַל יְדֵי הִרְהוּר בְּתַאֲוַת נִאוּף, רַחֲמָנָא לִצְּלָן, אֵינוֹ גּוֹרֵם רָע. כִּי הָאֱמֶת הִיא שֶׁמַּחֲשָׁבָה רָעָה הִיא עֲבֵרָה גְּדוֹלָה שֶׁאִי אֶפְשָׁר לְפָרְטָהּ כְּלָל, מִלְּבַד הָרָעָה הַנִּגְרֶמֶת בְּעֶטְיָהּ, כְּפִי מַאֲמָר הַגְּמָרָא הַקְּדוֹשָׁה (ע\"ז כ) שֶׁלֹּא יַחֲשֹׁב רָע בַּיוֹם כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא יָבוֹא לְטֻמְאָה בַּלַּיְלָה. עַל כֵּן צָרִיךְ כָּל אָדָם לִשְׁמוֹר מְאֹד אֶת מַחֲשַׁבְתּוֹ וְיַחֲשֹׁב אַךְ טוֹב:",
      "en": "Every person is obligated to know that one must not be lenient in one's mind — and must not deceive oneself — thinking that through a reflection of the lust of sexual immorality, G-d have mercy, one causes no harm. For the truth is that an evil thought is a great sin that cannot be described at all — in addition to the harm caused by it — as stated in the sacred Talmud (Avodah Zarah 20b): one must not think evil by day in order not to come to impurity at night. Therefore every person must greatly guard his thought and think only good."

      "he": "הַמַּחֲשָׁבָה הִיא בְּיַד הָאָדָם לְהַטּוֹתָהּ לְאָן שֶׁרוֹצֶה. כִּי שְׁתֵּי מַחֲשָׁבוֹת בְּיַחַד אֵינָן יְכוֹלוֹת לָדוּר בְּמֹחוֹ. עַל כֵּן אִם הָאָדָם חוֹשֵׁב טוֹב, אוֹ אֲפִלוּ מַחֲשָׁבוֹת שֶׁל מִסְחָר, אֵינוֹ יָכוֹל בְּאוֹתָהּ שָׁעָה לַחֲשֹׁב מַחֲשָׁבוֹת רָעוֹת:",
      "en": "Thought is in one's hand to direct wherever one wishes. For two thoughts cannot dwell in one's mind simultaneously. Therefore: if the person thinks good — or even thoughts of commerce — at that moment he cannot think evil thoughts."

      "he": "אֲפִלוּ אִם בְּלֹא מֵשִׂים נָטְתָה מַחֲשַׁבְתּוֹ לְהַרְהֵר בְּדָבָר לֹא טוֹב, אֶפְשָׁר גַּם עַל יְדֵי עֵצָה זוֹ לְהַטּוֹתָהּ לְמַחֲשָׁבָה אַחֶרֶת, בְּדִיּוּק כְּפִי שֶׁמַּטִּים סוּס שֶׁסָּר מִן הַדֶּרֶךְ הַיְשָׁרָה, לַדֶּרֶךְ הַטּוֹבָה:",
      "en": "Even if unintentionally one's thought has strayed to reflect on something not good — one can also through this counsel redirect it to another thought — exactly as one steers a horse that has strayed from the straight path — back to the good path."

      "en": "The true counsel for everything is only to request from Hashem, may He be blessed, and to pour out one's heart before Him in the spoken vernacular language. And likewise all one's thoughts and gazing — that are not according to His will, may He be blessed — whether inadvertent, whether deliberate, whether forced, whether willing — one should pour everything out before Him and cry out and plead for his soul that He help him guard one's thought and sight according to the holy Torah."

(מִזְמוֹרִים: ט\"ז, ל\"ב, מ\"א, מ\"ב, נ\"ט, ע\"ז, צ', ק\"ה, קל\"ז, ק\"ן, מִסֵּפֶר הַתְּהִלִּים) אִם יוּכַל לִטְבֹּל מִיָּד בַּמִּקְוֵה וּלְאַחַר מִכֵּן לוֹמַר אֶת עֲשֶׂרֶת הַמִּזְמוֹרִים, בְּוַדַּאי טוֹב מְאֹד, כִּי הַמִּקְוֵה הוּא דָּבָר רִאשׁוֹן לְטַהֳרָהּ. רַק אִם הוּא אָנוּס, לְמָשָׁל חָלוּשׁ וְחוֹלֶה, אוֹ שֶׁאֵין בַּנִּמְצָא מִקְוֵה וְכַיּוֹצֵא, אֲזַי אֲמִירַת עֲשֶׂרֶת הַמִּזְמוֹרִים גַּם כֵּן תִּקּוּן גָּדוֹל הוּא. גַּם הִבְטִיחַ רַבִּי נָתָן זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה, תַּלְמִידוֹ הַמֻּבְהָק שֶׁל רַבֵּנוּ זִכְרוֹנוֹ לִבְרָכָה, שֶׁכָּל מִי שֶׁיִּטְבֹּל בְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם כְּדֵי לְהִתְקָרֵב לְהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ, יִּזְכֶּה לְתַקֵּן כָּל שֶׁעָלָיו לְתַקֵּן בָּעוֹלָם, וְיִזְכֶּה לִתְשׁוּבָה שְׁלֵמָה וּלְכָל טוּב אָמֵן. אֶת עֲשֶׂרֶת הַמִּזְמוֹרִים צִוָּה הַצַּדִּיק מוֹהֲרַ\"ן לְהוֹדִיעָם וּלְפַרְסְמָם לַכֹּל. גַּם אִם לִכְאוֹרָה קַל מְאֹד לוֹמַר אֶת עֲשֶׂרֶת הַמִּזְמוֹרִים, אַךְ מִפְּנֵי חֲשִׁיבוּתָם וְיֹקֶר עֶרְכָּם קָשֶׁה לְאָמְרָם. עַל כֵּן עוֹשִׂים אָנוּ אֶת הַמֻּטָּל עָלֵינוּ לַעֲשׂוֹת, לְהוֹדִיעַ וּלְפַרְסֵם אֶת הַתִּקּוּן הַגָּדוֹל עַל יְדֵי אֲמִירַת עֲשָׂרָה הַמִּזְמוֹרִים , וְכָל אָדָם הַמְחַפֵּשׂ תִּקּוּן לְנַפְשׁוֹ, יְצַיֵּן מִיַּד לְפָנָיו אֶת עֲשֶׂרֶת הַמִּזְמוֹרִים וְיֹאמְרֵם.",
      "en": "In the holy book Likutay MoHaRaN a rectification is brought for a nocturnal emission, G-d forbid — that one should say on that day the ten known Psalms. (Psalms: 16, 32, 41, 42, 59, 77, 90, 105, 137, 150 from the book of Psalms.) If one can immerse in the mikveh immediately and afterward say the ten Psalms — certainly this is very good, for the mikveh is the primary thing for purification. But if one is unavoidably prevented — for example, weak or ill, or no mikveh is available, or the like — then the recitation of the ten Psalms is also a great rectification. And MoHaRaNas [Reb Nosson, the primary disciple of the Rebbe, of blessed memory] also promised that anyone who immerses in the mikveh every single day in order to draw close to Hashem, may He be blessed, will merit to rectify everything he needs to rectify in the world — and will merit complete repentance and all good — amen. The ten Psalms the Tzadik MoHaRaN commanded to be publicized and made known to all. And even though it appears very easy to say the ten Psalms — yet because of their importance and precious value it is hard to say them. Therefore we do our duty to publicize and make known this great rectification through the saying of the ten Psalms — and every person seeking rectification for his soul should immediately note the ten Psalms before him and say them."
