      "he": "יָדַעְתִּי כִּי בְּוַדַּאי יִהְיֶה נִשְׁמָע אֶצְלְכֶם כִּי גַּם פֹּה הִגִּיעַ הַחוֹלַאַת לְכַמָּה אֲנָשִׁים רַחֲמָנָא לִצְלַן. עַל כֵּן אֲנִי מֻכְרָח לְהוֹדִיעַ צַעֲרֵנוּ, הֱיוֹת בְּשַׁבַּת קֹדֶשׁ נֶחֱלַשׁ בְּבֵיתִי מֵאַנְשֵׁי שְׁלוֹמֵנוּ הַוָּתִיק מוֹרֵנוּ הָרַב שְׁמוּאֵל בֶּן מוֹרֵנוּ הָרַב יַעֲקֹב מִנֶּעמְרוֹב וְחָלְיוֹ כָּבֵד עָלָיו מְאֹד, וְהוּא מְסֻכָּן מְאֹד מְאֹד, וְגַם בְּבֵית רַבִּי יוֹנָה מְלַמֵּד הַסָּמוּךְ לְבֵיתִי נִפְטְרָה יַלְדָּה אַחַת אֶתְמוֹל, וְהַכֹּל מֵהַחוֹלָאַת הַנִּשְׁמָע כָּעֵת, וְגֹדֶל צַעֲרֵנוּ תָּבִין מֵעַצְמְךָ. אַךְ אַף עַל פִּי כֵן אֲנִי מְחַיֶּה עַצְמִי גַּם עַתָּה בִּמְעוּף צוּקָה הַזֹּאת בְּגֹדֶל חַסְדּוֹ הַנִּפְלָא אֲשֶׁר הִגְדִּיל עָלַי יָחִיד קַדְמוֹן יִתְבָּרַךְ שְׁמוֹ, שֶׁהוֹדִיעָנוּ מֵאוֹר כָּזֶה אֲשֶׁר יוֹדֵעַ נִגּוּן כָּזֶה (לִקּוּטֵי מוֹהֲרַ\"ן חֵלֶק ב' סִימָן ח') וְכוּ' וְכוּ'. וְלֶעָתִיד לָבוֹא הַכֹּל יִהְיֶה נִכְלָל בְּהַנִּגּוּן הַזֶּה כָּל מַה שֶּׁעָבַר עַל כָּל אֶחָד. בָּרוּךְ הַשֵּׁם אֲשֶׁר עַד כֹּה עֲזָרָנוּ שֶׁאָנוּ זוֹכִים עֲדַיִן שֶׁהָיָה וְשֶׁיֵּשׁ אוֹר כָּזֶה בָּעוֹלָם, לְעוֹלָם לֹא נֵבוֹשׁ בְּחַסְדּוֹ הַגָּדוֹל. גַּם אֲנִי מְחַיֶּה אֶת עַצְמִי עַל אֲשֶׁר סִבֵּב הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ בְּרַחֲמָיו שֶׁלֹּא בָּאתֶם הֵנָּה, מַה מְּאֹד גָּדְלוּ חַסְדֵי ה', נָא בְּנִי חֲבִיבִי אַל תִּצְטַעֵר כְּלָל עַל זֶה, תַּאֲמִין בְּהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ כִּי הַכֹּל לְטוֹבָה עֲצוּמָה וְנוֹרָאָה, וְהִנֵּה מִגֹּדֶל צַעֲרִי עַד הַנֶּפֶשׁ עֲזָרַנִי הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ שֶׁהֶחֱיֵיתִי אֶת עַצְמִי כָּל כָּךְ, עַד שֶׁאִם לֹא הָיִיתִי מִתְבַּיֵּשׁ מֵהָעוֹלָם הָיִיתִי מְרַקֵּד מֵחֲמַת שִׂמְחָה, כִּי חַסְדּוֹ גָּבַר עָלֵינוּ וֶאֱמֶת ה' לְעוֹלָם, וּמִגֹּדֶל הַנְּחִיצָה אִי אֶפְשָׁר לְהַאֲרִיךְ. וְהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יְרַחֵם עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְיֹאמַר לַמַּלְאָךְ הֶרֶף יָדְךָ, וְיָשׁוּב אֵלֵינוּ וִירַחֲמֵנוּ בְּקָרוֹב.",
      "en": "and remember well, well — what our Rebbe, of blessed memory, said\n [Likutay Moharan II, 48] — that one must be a great\n akshan\n [עַקְשָׁן — a stubborn, unbending one who refuses to yield]\n in the service of Hashem. Remember this well every day — and especially\n in the peaceful times that are coming, G-d willing — for you will need it very,\n very much. For you still do not know what may pass over a person. And even now — you must be great\n akshonnim [unbending ones] in your little, little\n service — and also in the desire and the longing and the yearning\n [רָצוֹן, הִשְׁתּוֹקְקוּת, כִּסּוּפִין — three ascending levels\n of spiritual desire] — one must be a great\n akshan: to will and to yearn with a strong will always\n toward Hashem Yisborach and His Torah — whatever the situation may be — as I have\n set forth at length [in my writings]. And whatever passes over me — I still desire the truth\n [Reb Nussun speaks here in his own voice — a personal declaration:\n whatever befalls me personally, my will remains fixed on the truth] — which is\n Hashem Yisborach and His Torah, which is the very essence of truth. And this is the meaning of do not stir up nor awaken the love until it\n desires [Shir HaShirim 2:7]\n [Reb Nussun reads this verse in the spirit of its inverse:\n you must keep stirring up and awakening the love — keep wanting — until the wanting\n itself takes hold and desires entirely on its own, without further effort. Be an\n akshan in desire until desire becomes self-sustaining —\n as we have already spoken of this in previous teachings].\n\nMore than this there is no need to extend — for no doubt you will\n soon be here in life and in peace.\n [Yitzchok is expected shortly in Breslov — which is why Reb Nussun\n cuts the letter short]\n\nBe strong and resolute, my brother and beloved student —\n cast upon Hashem your burden and He will sustain you\n [Tehillim 55:23] — and do not worry the worry of\n tomorrow. And let these matters be in your eyes every day as\n entirely new — so as not to think from one day to the\n next at all — only whatever your hand finds to do with your strength, do it —\n each and every day.\n\nAnd be careful from now on to walk with what our Master, of blessed memory, wrote:\n Today — if you hearken to His voice\n [Tehillim 95:7] —\n today specifically. And although even this one day alone\n is hard to fully discharge one's daily obligation — join to it the other\n sichos [conversations] and the holy\n Torahs from the\n Nachal Novea M'kor Chochmah\n [נַחַל נוֹבֵעַ מְקוֹר חָכְמָה — \"A Flowing Stream, Source of\n Wisdom\": one of the encoded names of the Likutay Moharan, whose acronym\n spells out Rebbe Nachman's name] — which are filled with very deep counsel —\n in particular the simple and straight path on the verse\n I will sing to my G-d while I yet exist\n [Tehillim 146:2] and so forth. And this suffices\n for now.\n\nThe words of your father — who awaits to see your true good forever."
