Rabbainu o.b.m. said to him: "I do not know how you have the heart to confuse me with the vanities of this world! Am I not like one who walks day and night in the wilderness, tunneling and seeking to make settlement from a wilderness — for in the heart of each of you there is a desolate wilderness with no inhabitant, and there is no dwelling-place there for the Divine Presence. And I am tunneling and seeking at every time to make some rectification and place in your hearts to be a dwelling-place for the Divine Presence!
