ב"ה, י"ב שְׁבַט תשכ"ג.
My very self and flesh, Mr. Z. Shazar — who has a strong and firm heart to clothe himself in a spirit of courage, to fight the war of Hashem — to subdue the filth of the falsehood of heresy and false faiths, and to magnify and to glorify and to publicize the name of the true Tzadik who walks before us — and through his very great and awesome power will repair even me, even you, and even the entire world as it is right now. Peace and life and a good inscription and sealing.
Segment 2
עַצְמִי וּבְשָׂרִי, הַקָּשׁוּר בְּהָאִילָן הַנִּפְלָא הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְנוֹרָא מְאֹד שֶׁהוּא הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת הָעוֹמֵד לָנוּ לְמַחֲסֶה וּלְמָגֵן לְדוֹר דוֹר, וּמְחַיֶּה וּמֵשִׁיב אֶת נַפְשֵׁנוּ בְּכָל מִינֵי רֵיחִין וּבוּסְמִין שֶׁל תּוֹרָתוֹ הַנּוֹרָאָה, אֲפִלּוּ בְּתַכְלִית הַחשֶׁךְ וְהַהִתְרַחֲקוּת. אַשְׁרֶיךָ שֶׁזָּכִיתָ לֵידַע מִבַּעַל הַנִּפְלָאוֹת שֶׁכָּל דְּבָרָיו נִפְלָאוֹת פִּלְאֵי פְּלָאוֹת עַד אֵין חֵקֶר, לְבָעֵר וּלְבַטֵּל הָאֱמוּנוֹת כָּזְבִיּוֹת וְהַכְּפִירוּת, וּלְהַמְשִׁיךְ וּלְקָרֵב כָּל הָעוֹלָם לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ. בַּעַל הָרַחֲמִים יַמְשִׁיךְ עָלֶיךָ רְפוּאָה וְחַיִּים אֲרֻכִּים חַיִּים נִצְחִיִּים.
The bond that is between us — and all that you have heard from me of the secret of the awesome greatness of the true Tzadik — is not a small thing. For it is a matter of great, deep, and awesome significance beyond all measure — and if the wise man should say he knows it, he cannot find it. Therefore, my brother — see and understand and be wise and remember well all the things you have heard.

אֲהוּבִי אָחִי, אֲשֶׁר אַהֲבַת אֱמֶת אַהֲבָתְךָ וְאַתָּה עוֹמֵד בְּלִבִּי וּבְמֹחִי בְּכָל יוֹם תָּמִיד, בִּפְרַט בְּעֵת שֶׁאֲנִי זוֹכֶה לְשַׁבֵּר אֶת לִבִּי וְלִשְׁפֹּךְ שִׂיחִי לִפְנֵי ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ, וְיָדַעְתִּי כִּי גַּם אַהֲבָתְךָ שְׁלֵמָה עִמִּי, וְלִבְּךָ חָזָק בָּאֱמוּנָה בִּנְקֻדַּת רֹאשׁ מֻבְחָר הָאֱמֶת שֶׁבּוֹ תָּלוּי גְּאֻלָּתֵנוּ וּפְדוּת נַפְשֵׁנוּ, וְאַתָּה מִשְׁתּוֹקֵק וּבוֹעֵר לִשְׁמֹעַ הַדִּבּוּרִים הַטּוֹבִים מֵעִזּוּז נוֹרְאוֹת הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת שֶׁהוּא עִקַּר יְסוֹד יַהֲדוּתֵנוּ וְהוּא כָּל נֶחָמָתֵנוּ וְתִקְוָתֵנוּ הַנִּצְחִי לְדוֹרוֹת עוֹלָם. וּמֵרֹב אַהֲבָתְךָ אֲשֶׁר בְּלִבִּי אֲנִי מְדַבֵּר עִמְּךָ לְטוֹבָתְךָ הַנִּצְחִי. אָחִי, אָחִי, נַפְשִׁי וּלְבָבִי, מָתַי תָּקוּם וּתְחַדֵּשׁ יָמֶיךָ לְהִתְקָרֵב לְהַצַּדִּיק בְּיֶתֶר שְׂאֵת וְיֶתֶר עֹז. שִׂים לִבְּךָ וְיַשֵּׁב דַּעְתְּךָ הֵיטֵב הֵיטֵב, וְחוּס וַחֲמֹל עָלֶיךָ, וְזָרֵז עַצְמְךָ לָרוּץ עַל יָדֶיךָ וְרַגְלֶיךָ לְהִתְאַחֵז בְּכַנְפֵי הַצַּדִּיק לְמַעַן תִּהְיֶה תִּקְוָה לְאַחֲרִיתְךָ וְהָיְתָה לְשָׁלָל נַפְשְׁךָ. הֲלֹא בְּיָדְךָ בִּישׁוּעַת ה' סֵפֶר הַתְּפִלּוֹת וְהַשִּׂיחוֹת הַקְּדוֹשׁוֹת וְסִפּוּרֵי מַעֲשִׂיּוֹת הַנּוֹרָאוֹת וְכָל סְפָרָיו הַקְּדוֹשִׁים הַמְּלֵאִים עֵצוֹת וּדְרָכִים וּנְתִיבוֹת לְכָל אָדָם שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם וּבְכָל מִינֵי יְרִידוֹת שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם. אֱחֹז בָּהֶם וַהֲפֹךְ וַהֲפֹךְ בָּהֶם, שֶׁאֵין לְךָ מִדָּה טוֹבָה מֵהֶם. פְּקַח עֵינֶיךָ וְלִבְּךָ וְהַבֵּט בָּהֶם בְּעֵין הָאֱמֶת וּבִתְמִימוּת לִשְׁמֹר וּלְקַיֵּם, וְאַל תַּדְחֶה עַצְמְךָ מִיּוֹם אֶל יוֹם, כִּי מִי יוֹדֵעַ מַה יוּלַד יוֹם.
And my eyes are watching and hoping to Hashem that your eternal salvation will sprout through this — to draw close to Hashem Yisburach. The year has already passed and flown by with great speed, and we draw near to the days of Rosh Hashana. And begin to bless in your thoughts: "Who has given us life, and Who has brought us, and Who has sustained us to this time" — which is the holy Rosh Hashana — that we then merit to meet together within the holy gathering of the Tzadik who knows the matter of Rosh Hashana to its very depth. And the power of the wondrous and awesome kindness of Rosh Hashana that the Tzadik draws down — may it guard and help you and your household. Peace and life and all good.

כָּל הַנְּפָשׁוֹת שֶׁמִּתְקָרְבִים לְהַצַּדִּיק, צָרִיךְ לַעֲסֹק כָּל אֶחָד לְקָרֵב עוֹד נְפָשׁוֹת לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ כָּל אֶחָד לְפִי בְּחִינָתוֹ, שֶׁלֹּא יִהְיוּ עֵצִים יְבֵשִׁים חַס וְשָׁלוֹם. כִּי יֵשׁ אִילָן וַעֲנָפִים, וַעֲנָפִים לַעֲנָפִים וְכוּ', וְהַצַּדִּיק הוּא גּוּפָא דְּאִילָנָא, וְהַנְּפָשׁוֹת שֶׁמִּתְקָרְבִים אֵלָיו הֵם בְּחִינַת עֲנָפִים, וְצָרִיךְ שֶׁיֵּצְאוּ מֵהֶם עוֹד עֲנָפִים וְכוּ', עַד שֶׁיִּצְמְחוּ מֵהֶם עוֹד כַּמָּה וְכַמָּה אִילָנוֹת עַד שֶׁתִּתְמַלֵּא פְּנֵי תֵּבֵל תְּנוּבָה, בִּבְחִינַת "וַיִּזְרְעוּ שָׂדוֹת וַיִּטְּעוּ כְּרָמִים וַיַּעֲשׂוּ פְּרִי תְּבוּאָה וַיְבָרְכָם וַיִּרְבּוּ מְאֹד", עַד שֶׁדִּבּוּרֵי הַצַּדִּיק יֵלְכוּ וְיִתְפַּשְּׁטוּ בָּעוֹלָם וְיִהְיוּ נִשְׁמָעִים לְמֶרְחָקִים מְאֹד עַד שֶׁכָּל הָעוֹלָם יַחְזְרוּ וְיָשׁוּבוּ עַל-יְדֵי זֶה לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ.
Even though at this time my mind is not clear and I have no words with me — because of the harsh and bitter sufferings that are passing over me, not upon you — nonetheless because of the immensity of the love for you that is in my heart, I compelled myself to speak with you for your eternal benefit. For I know that your heart in its inwardness longs greatly to draw close to Hashem Yisburach in truth. And Hashem Yisburach will put words in my mouth in such a way that I will act for your eternal good.
Segment 5
כְּשֶׁהָרַע מִתְגַּבֵּר עַל הָאָדָם כָּל-כָּךְ עַד שֶׁשּׁוֹכֵחַ שֹׁרֶשׁ מַעֲלַת נַפְשׁוֹ הַיְקָרָה, וְהַטּוֹב שֶׁיֵּשׁ בּוֹ נִתְעַלֵּם לְגַמְרֵי עַד שֶׁאֵין יוֹדֵעַ אֵיךְ לְהִתְעוֹרֵר עַצְמוֹ לָשׁוּב לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ, אֲזַי עִקַּר הַתִּקּוּן הוּא רַק עַל-יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת, כִּי עַל-יְדֵי שֶׁזּוֹכִין לְהִתְקָרֵב לְהַצַּדִּיק אֲזַי הָרָע נִתְבַּטֵּל וְנִתְבַּלְבֵּל לְגַמְרֵי כְּנֶגֶד קְדֻשַּׁת הַצַּדִּיק, וְהַטּוֹב נִתְגַּלֶּה אֲפִלּוּ מֵעִמְקֵי עִמְקֵי הַקְּלִפּוֹת, כִּי הַצַּדִּיק יָכוֹל לְגַלּוֹת הַטּוֹב מִכָּל אָדָם שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם אֲפִלּוּ אִם הוּא בַּמָּקוֹם שֶׁהוּא, וְעַל-יְדֵי זֶה נִתְעוֹרֵר הַטּוֹב הַנֶּעֱלָם אֶצְלוֹ מְאֹד וְחוֹזֵר לְמַעֲלָתוֹ.
Every person through his sins causes the withdrawal of the light of His G-dliness Yisburach — and through this it becomes impossible to know Hashem Yisburach, Heaven forbid. And the essential repair of ourselves and of the sins of all the generations is only through the Tzadik — who is our true shepherd — who brings close all the distant ones and all the displaced ones, so that they all return to Hashem Yisburach in truth, and stand firmly in their place, and do not fall in their mind because of all that has passed over them, whatever may be. Only to begin anew every time — through the power of the free lovingkindness that the Tzadik has drawn down into the world.
Segment 6
דִבְרֵי הַמַּעְתִּיק, הַדּוֹרֵשׁ שְׁלוֹמְךָ וְטוֹבָתְךָ מִקֶּרֶב לֵב עָמֹק, וּמִתְפַּלֵּל לַה' שֶׁיַּצְלִיחַ דְּרָכֶיךָ וְיִשְׁמָרְךָ מִכָּל רַע וִיבָרֵךְ צֵאתְךָ וּבוֹאֲךָ בְּשָׁלוֹם.
The essential revelation of His G-dliness and His kingship Yisburach to all who come into the world is through the aspect of remembrance (zikaron) — for one must guard the memory very carefully. And the essential of the memory is to overcome oneself greatly, to bind well within one's mind and one's daas the holy and awesome rising-light that the Tzadik illuminates for each one at every time. And as long as the daas of the Tzadik has not been drawn well into the heart — so well that it is never forgotten — one still does not know Him Yisburach at all.
