My very self and flesh — the one truly beloved to me more than my own soul — Mr. Z. Shazar, who has awakened his spirit and dedicated his broad heart and his blessed talents, and entered himself with all his strength into a very great and exceptional endeavor — to magnify and to publicize throughout all the worlds the name of the true Tzadik, the one unique individual in the world, who rises higher and higher above all the awesome Tzadikim, the singular ones of the generations, who is our shelter and shield even now within all kinds of darknesses and distancings of these latter days. Fortunate are you a thousandfold — that the inwardness of your heart understands and feels the light of the truly true truth that illuminates now in all the worlds from beginning to end. לִכְבוֹד יְדִידִי יַקִּירִי, הַמְצֻיָּן בִּגְדֻלַּת יִקְרַת נַפְשׁוֹ הָאֲצִילָה שֶׁנֶּחְצְבָה מִמְּקוֹר קֹדֶשׁ מִגְּדוֹלֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמּוּדֵי הַתּוֹרָה זַצַ"ל, שֶׁהִטָּה דַּעְתּוֹ וּלְבָבוֹ לִשְׁמֹעַ בְּקוֹל ה' הַקּוֹרֵא אוֹתוֹ בְּקוֹל גָּדוֹל בְּכָל יוֹם שֶׁיַּמְשִׁיךְ עַצְמוֹ בִּזְרִיזוּת גָּדוֹל אֶל הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ כֹּחַ הַמּוֹשֵׁךְ לְהַמְשִׁיךְ וּלְקָרֵב כָּל הָעוֹלָם לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ. שָׁלוֹם רַב.
Because of the very great exhaustion of my soul on account of the tribulations and the bitternesses that have surrounded me from all sides — not upon you — my mind is not clear to write. But for the sake of the pleasantness of your love engraved upon the tablet of my heart, I could not restrain myself from fulfilling my obligation that rests upon me, and I wrote with all my strength.

כְּשֶׁאֶחָד מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל בָּא לוֹ כָּבוֹד חָדָשׁ וּמַלְכוּת, אֲזַי צָרִיךְ יְגִיעָה גְּדוֹלָה וּמִלְחָמָה גְּדוֹלָה לְהִתְגַבֵּר בְּכָל עֹז וּגְבוּרָה כְּגִבּוֹר חָזָק וְאַמִּיץ לְבַטֵּל כְּבוֹדוֹ כְּאַיִן וּכְאֶפֶס מַמָּשׁ נֶגֶד כְּבוֹד ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ, וְלֹא יִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ עִם הַכָּבוֹד לְצָרְכוֹ וְלַהֲנָאַת עַצְמוֹ, וְלֹא יִקַּח לְעַצְמוֹ כְּלָל מִן הַכָּבוֹד, שֶׁלֹּא יִהְיֶה הַמַּלְכוּת אֶצְלוֹ כְּעֶבֶד לְמַלְּאוֹת תַּאֲוָתוֹ חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, רַק לְהַעֲלוֹת הַכָּבוֹד וְהַמַּלְכוּת שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ וְלַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת, כְּדֵי שֶׁעַל-יְדֵי זֶה הַכָּבוֹד וְהַמַּלְכוּת יִתְגַּדֵּל וְיִתְעַלֶּה כְּבוֹד ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ וּכְבוֹד הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת הַמַּנְהִיג הָאֱמֶת שֶׁל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל לְדוֹר דּוֹר, נַחַל נוֹבֵעַ מְקוֹר חָכְמָה, שֶׁמְּקָרֵב הַכֹּל לַה' יִתְבָּרַךְ, אֲפִלּוּ הָרְחוֹקִים וְהַנִּדָּחִים וְהַנֶּאֱבָדִים שֶׁנָּפְלוּ לִשְׁאוֹל תַּחְתִּיּוֹת וּמִתַּחְתָּיו עַד אֵין קֵץ וְאֵין תַּכְלִית, הוּא מַעֲלֶה וּמְקַשֵּׁר אוֹתָם מֵעִמְקֵי תְּהוֹם רַבָּה - לְמַעְלָה לְמַעְלָה גָּבוֹהַּ כְּהַרְרְרֵי אֵל, שֶׁעַל-יְדֵי זֶה דַּיְקָא נִתְיַקֵּר וְנִתְעַלֶּה כְּבוֹד ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ בְּיוֹתֵר בְּכָל הָעוֹלָמוֹת.
Hashem knows and is witness — and your heart too sees and feels — that your soul is always bound to my soul every day and at every time. And especially at the time of hisbodidus and conversation with Hashem Yisburach, all my thoughts are with you. For my soul knows very well that your soul in its root is very high and very precious. And in the inwardness of your heart there is rooted the point of holy faith in Hashem and in His Torah. And your heart burns like a kindled fire to be joined in every kind of connection to the true Tzadik and his faithful, truly worthy people. And through the springs of the wisdom of his Torah he illuminates within us true and truly true faith — and this faith is the root and source of wisdom, through which one comes to conceptions of G-dliness — to see eye to eye His G-dliness and His kingship and His dominion. But against this, obstacles and hindrances spread themselves without measure.

שׂוֹשׂ אָשִׂישׂ בִּישׁוּעַת ה' וַחֲסָדָיו הָעֲצוּמִים שֶׁגִּלְגְּלוּ וְסִבֵּב בְּרֹב רַחֲמָיו הַנִּפְלָאִים וּנְשַׂאֲךָ וְכוּ'... וְשֶׁזָּכִיתָ לְהִתְחַדֵּשׁ וְלִצְמֹחַ בְּגַן הַחַיִּים הַקָּדוֹשׁ וְהַנּוֹרָא שֶׁל הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת, אוֹר הֶחָדָשׁ הַגָּנוּז וְצָפוּן וְנֶעֱלָם מְאֹד שֶׁהוּא עִקַּר הַחַיִּים, שֶׁחִדֵּשׁ חֲדָשׁוֹת נוֹרָאוֹת וְנִפְלָאוֹת, פִּלְאֵי פְּלָאוֹת עַד אֵין חֵקֶר שֶׁלֹּא נִתְגַּלּוּ עֲדַיִן מֵעוֹלָם, כְּדֵי לְחֲיוֹתֵנוּ כְּהַיּוֹם הַזֶּה גַּם בְּתַכְלִית תַּכְלִית הַחשֶׁךְ הַגָּמוּר אֲשֶׁר בְּדוֹרוֹתֵינוּ אֵלֶּה בְּסוֹף הַגָּלוּת הָאַחֲרוֹן הַמַּר הַזֶּה, שֶׁיִּשְׂרָאֵל תּוֹעִים עַכְשָׁו מְאֹד אַחֲרֵי הַהֶבֶל תַּעְתּוּעִים שֶׁל הַחֲכָמִים בְּעֵינֵיהֶם שֶׁנָּסֹגוּ אָחוֹר מֵה' יִתְבָּרַךְ וְתוֹרָתוֹ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה עַל-יְדֵי זֻהֲמַת וְטֻמְאַת הַשֶּׁקֶר שֶׁל כְּפִירוֹת וֶאֱמוּנוֹת כָּזְבִיּוֹת רַחֲמָנָא לִיצְלָן.
Therefore I turn to you from the very depths of my heart, to stand you upon the holy obligation that rests upon us — to think deep thoughts, to overcome yourself and to exert yourself with very powerful desire, to long and to yearn and to pine with all the expiration of the soul — to ponder his holy books every single day, to see the new and awesome lights within them, until the good fragrances of the holy words enter into your heart — for actual fulfillment in deed!
Segment 5
מִי שֶׁרוֹצֶה לַעֲשׂוֹת טוֹבָה לְהַצַּדִּיק, הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא נוֹתֵן לוֹ כֹּחַ לָזֶה.
The adversary lies in ambush for a person always — and especially regarding his end and his final outcome. Since the more a person ages, the more he needs to draw close to his root and his repair — and therefore the battle of the evil inclination grows stronger against him more than ever. And there is no counsel to be saved except through the great power of the true Tzadik and his holy books.
When two Jews who love one another gather together and meet in love and peace — and rejoice in seeing one another — they then bless "Who has given us life and brought us and sustained us". For this is the essential vitality and the existence of all the worlds. One must seek and find in every Jew some merit and good in order to love him as oneself. For every one of Israel, as long as the name "Israel" is called upon him — it is impossible that there is not in him some aspect of good and merit. And one must bind oneself to the good within them and include oneself together with them in love and unity! The more the gathering of the true Tzadik grows, so does the honor of Hashem Yisburach grow more, and they are more included in His unity Yisburach.

אָחִי, אָחִי, לִבִּי וּבְשָׂרִי, עַתָּה עַתָּה כְּבָר הִגִּיעַ הָעֵת וְהַשָּׁעָה שֶׁתַּעֲמִיק מַחֲשַׁבְתְּךָ לַחְשֹׁב וְלַחְשֹׁק לְהוֹצִיא לַפֹּעַל תַּבְעֵרַת לִבְּךָ הַטּוֹב הַבּוֹעֵר כָּאֵשׁ עַד לֶב הַשָּׁמַיִם לְרַחֵם עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּרַחֲמָנוּת הָאֲמִתִּי הַגָּדוֹל מִכָּל מִינֵי רַחֲמָנוּת, לְהָאִיר בְּלִבָּם אוֹר הַצַּדִּיק הַמֵּאִיר מִסּוֹף הָעוֹלָם וְעַד סוֹפוֹ, וּלְהוֹדִיעַ וּלְפַרְסֵם בָּעוֹלָם שֶׁנִּמְצָא עַכְשָׁו אֶצְלֵנוּ חָכָם אֱמֶת נוֹרָא וְנִשְׂגָּב שֶׁעֲדַיִן לֹא הָיָה כָּמוֹהוּ מֵעוֹלָם, שֶׁגִּלָּה מַעְיָנוֹת שֶׁל עֵצוֹת וְתִקּוּנִים וַחֲסָדִים נִפְלָאִים וְנֶעֱלָמִים עַד אֵין קֵץ וְתַכְלִית, שֶׁעֲדַיִן לֹא נִתְגַּלּוּ מִימוֹת עוֹלָם, שֶׁמְּטַהֲרִים מִכָּל הַלִּכְלוּכִים וּמִכָּל הַזֻּהֲמוֹת וְהַטֻּמְאוֹת שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם, שֶׁיּוּכְלוּ כָּל הָעוֹלָם לָבוֹא נְקִיִים לְהֵיכַל הַמֶּלֶךְ וּלְקַבֵּל הָאוֹצָרוֹת מַתְּנַת חִנָּם אֲשֶׁר הֵכִין לָהֶם הַמֶּלֶךְ. אַשְׁרֵי הַזּוֹכֶה לָהֶם.
With love and unity in perfection, and with desires and longings to engage in the light of the daas of the Tzadik.

מֶלֶךְ הַמָּשִׁיחַ יַמְשִׁיךְ וִיגַלֶּה בָּעוֹלָם אוֹר הַדַּעַת שֶׁל הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת בְּהִתְגַּלּוּת נִפְלָא וּבְשֵׂכֶל נִפְלָא וֶאֱמֶת בְּתַכְלִית הַשְּׁלֵמוּת, וְעַל-יְדֵי זֶה יַמְשִׁיךְ שָׁלוֹם נִפְלָא אֲפִלּוּ עִם אֻמּוֹת הָעוֹלָם, עַד שֶׁעַל-יְדֵי רִבּוּי הַשָּׁלוֹם יַכִּירוּ וְיֵדְעוּ כָּל הַגּוֹיִים גְּדֻלַּת וַחֲשִׁיבוּת יִשְׂרָאֵל עַם קָדוֹשׁ, וְיִתְהַפְּכוּ כֻּלָּם לֶאֱמוּנַת יִשְׂרָאֵל וְיַכְנִיעוּ עַצְמָם אֵלֶינוּ, וְיִשְׁלְטוּ הַיְּהוּדִים בָּהֶם מֵרְצוֹנָם.

Segment 8
דִּבְרֵי הַמַּעְתִּיק, הַמִּתְפַּלֵּל תָּמִיד לִשְׁלוֹמוֹ וְהַצְלָחָתוֹ לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים.
The virtue of the holy gathering — those who hold themselves to the true Tzadik with great love and unity and the ultimate true peace, who are careful about the honor of their fellows, and guard themselves from all kinds of dispute, and completely nullify their own honor before the honor of their true Rebbe — which is the honor of Heaven — and who bind themselves with every point of their Jewishness only to the true Tzadik, and draw upon themselves at every time the illumination of his holy daas, and gather and meet together at every time to speak with one another of the fear of Heaven and the illumination of the holy daas that the Tzadik labors to illuminate within them. This holy gathering is very precious and exalted — and through this the Tzadik, their shepherd, is able to illuminate more, to the supernal and to the nether dwellers, and to strengthen all those who have fallen and those who are lowly and those most distant — that even they will know the truth that Hashem is still with them and beside them and very close to them, until even they return to Hashem Yisburach. And through this holy gathering the redemption will come, and Moshiach will come and repair everything in perfection.

יִשְׂרָאֵל דֹּב אוֹדֶעסֶר
