לִכְבוֹד לִבִּי וְחִיּוּתִי, אֲשֶׁר מָסַר אֶת לִבּוֹ אֶל הַצַּדִּיק הָרוֹעֶה נֶאֱמָן וְרַחֲמָן שֶׁמְּקַבֵּץ כָּל הַנִּדָּחִים וְהָאֲבוּדִים שֶׁתָּעוּ כְּשֵׂה אוֹבֵד בְּמִדְבָּר שָׁמֵם וּמַחֲזִירָם לַאֲבִיהֶם שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם, בְּרָכָה וְשָׁלוֹם וְכָל טוּב לְאֹרֶךְ יָמִים.
S.Z. Shazar To the honor of the President of Israel — the daughter of my eye and my heart — Mr. S.Z. Shazar, who has merited through mercy and great miracles from Hashem — to feel (to feel sharply, to believe) and to believe in the true Tzadik — the father of the wise and the head of all the select singular Tzadikim of the generations.

אֶת הַמַּעֲנָק בְּסַךְ מֵאָה ל"י קִבַּלְתִּי וְנֶהֱנֵיתִי מְאֹד מֵאַהֲבָתְךָ וְחַסְדְּךָ הַגָּדוֹל עָלַי שֶׁהִרְבֵּיתָ לְהֵיטִיב עִמָּדִי כָּל-כָּךְ, וַאֲנִי עֵינַי אֶל ה' תְּלוּיוֹת וּמְבַקֵּשׁ וּמִתְחַנֵּן שֶׁבְּרַחֲמָיו וַחֲסָדָיו הַמְרֻבִּים יִהְיֶה בְּעֶזְרְךָ וְיִתֵּן לְךָ מַתָּנָה מֵאוֹצַר מַתְּנַת חִנָּם, הַחַיִּים הָאֲרֻכִּים שֶׁל הַבֶּעטְלֶר הַזָּקֵן שֶׁבַּזְּקֵנִים דִּקְדֻשָּׁה, וְיִגְמֹר יְשׁוּעָתְךָ הַגְּדוֹלָה וְהַנִּפְלָאָה אֲשֶׁר הִתְחִיל לְהַפְלִיא עִמְּךָ לְקָרְבְךָ לִנְקֻדַּת הָאֱמֶת, לֹא בִּשְׁבִיל שׁוּם פְּנִיָּה וְכָבוֹד שֶׁל עוֹלָם הַזֶּה, רַק לְמַעַן הָאֱמֶת לַאֲמִתּוֹ, וְשֶׁיִּהְיֶה לְךָ חֵלֶק גָּדוֹל בְּבִנְיַן בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ שֶׁבּוֹנֶה הַצַּדִּיק, שֶׁהוּא הִתְגַּלּוּת דַּעְתּוֹ הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּעוֹלָם, שֶׁמֵּבִיא לִידֵי קִיּוּם הַתּוֹרָה וּמְבַטֵּל מֶצַח הַנָּחָשׁ שֹׁרֶשׁ חָכְמַת הַטֶּבַע, וּמְחַזֵּק אֱמוּנַת הָרָצוֹן, שֶׁיֵּדְעוּ כֻּלָּם שֶׁהַכֹּל מִתְנַהֵג רַק בִּרְצוֹן הַבּוֹרֵא, וְעַל-יְדֵי זֶה מִמֵּילָא מִתְחַזֵּק הָרָצוֹן שֶׁל אָדָם שֶׁיִרְצֶה וְיִכְסֹף רַק לַעֲשׂוֹת רְצוֹן ה' יִתְבָּרַךְ. מִי יִתֵּן שֶׁנִּזְכֶּה לְהַגִּיעַ מְהֵרָה אֶל הַתַּכְלִית הַטּוֹב אֲשֶׁר הַצַדִּיק רוֹצֶה לַהֲבִיאֵנוּ אֵלָיו, אֲשֶׁר רַק בִּשְׁבִיל זֶה בָּאנוּ לָעוֹלָם.
And who strives with immense labors, with a heart burning and blazing like a glowing coal of fire — to magnify and to publicize throughout the entire world the name of the Tzadik, the Master of the House of the world, and the grace and the splendor and the adornment and the beauty of the entire world, who reveals and illuminates His G-dliness to all who come into the world — (and through him the repair of the world will be completed in perfection). May Hashem complete what He has begun — to perform wonder of wonders with you — until you merit to behold the pleasantness of Hashem. And the essential repair of the world in every generation is only through him. Everyone knows that there is no permanence in this world — and one is compelled to depart from here in the passing of a light moment.
## Segment 4
אִם יִתְדַּבֵּק עַצְמוֹ לְדִבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַיּוֹצְאִים מִפִּי הַצַּדִּיק, תָּמֵהַּ אֲנִי אֵיךְ אֶפְשָׁר אַחַר-כָּךְ לִסְבֹּל וְלַחְפֹּץ חַיֵּי הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, וְזֶהוּ "כָּל הַנֶּהֱנֶה מִדִּבְרֵי תּוֹרָה, נוֹטֵל חַיָּיו מִן הָעוֹלָם", וְהָבֵן הֵיטֵב.
For all of time is not even accounted as a single moment, for one who attends well with his heart and his mind to the fleeting of time — more than the flight of a flying bird.
## Segment 5
אוֹהַבְךָ בֶּאֱמֶת לָנֶצַח, הַמְצַפֶּה תָּמִיד לִישׁוּעָתְךָ וְהַצְלָחָתְךָ.
And one must overcome himself greatly not to forget himself.
## Segment 6
הַמַּעְתִּיק יִשְׂרָאֵל דֹּב אוֹדֶסֶר
My heart and my flesh will sing to Hashem with thanksgiving and song — with great joy and immense and great delight — for the greatness of the awesomeness of His kindness and His immense wonders — that He performed wondrously and did with me. That He gave me a crown of grace of truth and a true love and great mercy in his warm heart — to stand by me and to fight for me with self-sacrifice — a strong and difficult battle — that I should have a holy sanctuary to serve in it with holy service: Torah and prayer and hisbodidus and conversation between me and my Maker.

אָנָּא אֲדוֹן יָחִיד, הַמְלַמֵּד תּוֹרָה לְעַמּוֹ יִשְׂרָאֵל, רַחֵם עָלֵינוּ לְמַעַן שִׁמְךָ וְזַכֵּנִי לְהִתְדַּבֵּק בְּתוֹרָתְךָ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, וְתִפְתַּח אֶת לִבִּי וְדַעְתִּי עַד שֶׁאֶזְכֶּה לִשְׁמֹעַ וּלְהָבִין הֵיטֵב בִּלְבָבִי אֶת כָּל דִּבְרֵי תּוֹרָתְךָ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה וְהַטְּהוֹרָה וְהַתְּמִימָה הַמְּשִׁיבַת נֶפֶשׁ וּמַחְכִּימַת פֶּתִי וּמְשַׂמַּחַת לֵב וּמְאִירַת עֵינַיִם וְעוֹמֶדֶת לָעַד, וְאֶזְכֶּה לְהַרְגִּישׁ הֵיטֵב נִפְלְאוֹת נְעִימַת עֲרֵבַת מְתִיקַת חִדּוּשֵׁי הַתּוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשִׁים וְהַנּוֹרָאִים מְאֹד, תּוֹרַת ה' מַמָּשׁ שֶׁגִּלָּה הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת הַמְּחַיִּן כָּל הָעוֹלָמוֹת, וְאֶזְכֶּה לֶהֱנוֹת וּלְהִתְעַנֵּג בְּדִבְרֵי תּוֹרָתוֹ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה עַד אֲשֶׁר אָקוּץ וְאֶמְאַס בְּחַיֵּי עוֹלָם הַזֶּה וּבְתַאֲווֹתָיו וַהֲבָלָיו, וְיִתְבַּטְּלוּ כָּל חַיֵּי עוֹלָם הַזֶּה אֶצְלִי לְגַמְרֵי עַל-יְדֵי עֹצֶם הַהֲנָאָה וְהַתַּעֲנוּג וְהַשַּׁעֲשׁוּעַ שֶׁאֶזְכֶּה לֶהֱנוֹת וּלְהִתְעַנֵּג מִדִּבְרֵי תּוֹרָתוֹ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה וְהַנּוֹרָאָה אֲשֶׁר כָּל דְּבָרָיו חָיִים וְקַיָּמִים נֶאֱמָנִים וְנֶחֱמָדִים לָעַד, וְנֶחֱמָדִים מִזָּהָב וּמִפָּז רַב וּמְתוּקִים מִדְּבַשׁ וְנֹפֶת צוּפִים. כִּי בֶּאֱמֶת מֵרָחוֹק נִרְאֶה לִי בְּדַעְתִּי נְעִימַת עַמְקוּת דִּבְרֵי תּוֹרָתוֹ, אֲשֶׁר כָּל דִּבּוּר וְדִבּוּר עוֹלֶה עַד אֵין סוֹף וְיוֹרֵד עַד אֵין תַּכְלִית וּמְקַשֵּׁר וּמְחַבֵּר וְכוֹלֵל כָּל הָעוֹלָמוֹת יַחַד, וְנוֹתֵן עֵצוֹת נִפְלָאוֹת לְכָל דָּרֵי מַעְלָה וְדָרֵי מַטָּה אֵיךְ לִזְכּוֹת לְהַכִּיר אוֹתְךָ תִּתְבָּרַךְ וּלְהִתְדַּבֵּק בְּךָ בֶּאֱמֶת. מַה גָּדְלוּ מַעֲשֶׂיךָ ה' מְאֹד עָמְקוּ מַחְשְׁבוֹתֶיךָ, וְאִם הָיִינוּ זוֹכִים לִשְׁמֹעַ וּלְהַטּוֹת אָזְנֵינוּ וְלִבֵּנוּ הֵיטֵב לְדִבּוּר אֶחָד מִתּוֹרָתְךָ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה אֲשֶׁר גִּלִּיתָ לָנוּ עַל-יְדֵי הַצַּדִּיק הָאֱמֶת בְּחִינַת משֶׁה, הָיִינוּ מִתְבַּטְּלִים לְגַמְרֵי. אַךְ בַּעֲווֹנוֹתֵינוּ הָרַבִּים אֵין אָנוּ זוֹכִים לְהַכְנִיס הַדַּעַת בַּלֵּב וּלְבַטֵּל תַּאֲוַת הַלֵּב עַל-יְדֵי זֶה, כִּי לִבֵּנוּ מָלֵא מַחְשְׁבוֹת חוּץ, תַּאֲווֹת וּבִלְבּוּלִים וְהִרְהוּרִים וְעַקְמִימִיּוּת שֶׁבַּלֵּב, עַד אֲשֶׁר לִבֵּנוּ רָחוֹק מְאֹד מִדִּבְרֵי תּוֹרָתְךָ הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, עַל-כֵּן אֵין אָנוּ מַרְגִּישִׁים נְעִימוּת מְתִיקוּת אִמְרוֹתֶיהָ הַטְּהוֹרִים.
Be very careful and guard your soul greatly — not to forget (all the good and the kindnesses and the miracles and the wonders that Hashem Yisburach has had compassion upon you with), at every moment — the enormity of the kindness and the mercy that Hashem Yisburach had compassion upon you with (that Hashem Yisburach performed with you) to bring you close to the true Tzadik. For all our days would not suffice to give thanks and to praise for this. Snatch and eat — snatch and eat the foods of the Tzadik every single day, whatever is possible — even amid all the business matters and distractions you have. (And the distractions are many) The klipa of Haman-Amalek wishes to grow strong in every generation through heresies and apostasy — through the difficulties and the investigations that it is impossible to resolve right now in any way. But Hashem Yisburach fights against it in every generation and subdues it through the true Tzadik — the aspect of Moshe and Mordechai — who has attained such a lofty level that he is able to draw His unity Yisburach even to the most, most distant places, into the very intensity of the strengthening of the heresies and the external vain wisdoms that are aroused and renewed in every generation, in these our generations.

רַחֵם עָלֵינוּ וְזַכֵּנוּ לְהִתְדַּבֵּק בְּךָ וּבְתוֹרָתְךָ וּבְמִצְווֹתֶיךָ הַקְּדוֹשִׁים לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד, לַחֲזוֹת בְּנֹעַם ה' וּלְבַקֵּר בְּהֵיכָלוֹ מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עוֹלָם אָמֵן סֶלָה.

Certainly he has a great portion in all the good deeds I merit to engage in in this holy house. Who can express it! Who can express and explain the immensity of the greatness of the value of this pleasant and beloved mitzvah — immense beyond all measure and worth!
Be strong and courageous with all your strength to hold yourself to the true Tzadik — the Nachal Noavaya — who is your life and the length of your days in this world and the next. How good is your portion and how pleasant is your lot in this world and the World to Come.
And I shall also rejoice and exult with all my heart to bring him the good tidings — for the Chief Rabbi of Tiberius, Rabbi Meir, has given a beautiful room — the most beautiful and pleasant of all the rooms of the yeshiva — as a gift for all the days of my life — upon the holy burial site of Rabbi Meir Ba'al HaNess.
…And gave his life for me — to stand by me and to fight the strong and difficult battle that I had. Had you come into the world only for this — it would have been sufficient! Who can estimate what wondrous pleasures are made from this in all the worlds. Fortunate are we that we have merited to such a good gift — hidden and concealed from the entire world. This matter — for it alone… has made a great noise throughout the entire city of Tiberius. And all tell of it and are astounded by this wondrous matter beyond all measure. Who can express and praise… For he alone can repair them and elevate them all from all the descents and the darknesses in the world — and repair them in perfection — so that all will know Hashem, even the nations of the world — and serve Him in truth with all their hearts.
I give thanks to his lofty honor from the very depths of my heart — for this and for all the goodnesses and the kindnesses he bestows upon me with all his strength — every time at every moment. May Hashem recompense his good deed — and it was for me a great satisfaction and great joy. So may He continue and continue to magnify His good toward me and toward all the souls of Israel — to have mercy upon them — to make known to them the secret of the greatness of the awesomeness of the Nachal Noavaya — who is the entire essential source of their vitality and their hope and their repair.
