Shazar, who has devoted his heart to the Tzadik — the faithful and merciful shepherd who gathers all the displaced and the lost who have strayed like a lost sheep in the desolate wilderness, and returns them to their Father in Heaven. Blessing and peace and all good for length of days. The contribution of 31.5.64 in the amount of one hundred liras I have received, and I am very pleased with your love and your great kindness toward me — that you have so multiplied your good toward me. And my eyes are upward to Hashem, beseeching and entreating that in His mercies and His abundant kindnesses, He be your help — and grant you as a gift from the treasury of free gifts the long life of the Beggar — the elder of elders of holiness."

And may you have a great portion in the building of the Beis HaMikdash that the Tzadik is building — which is the revelation of his holy daas in the world, which brings to the fulfillment of the Torah, and nullifies the brazenness of the serpent — the root of natural wisdom. And strengthens the faith in the will — that all should know that everything is conducted solely by the will of the Creator. And through this the will of a person is automatically strengthened — to will and to long only to do the will of Hashem Yisburach. Would that we merit to speedily arrive at the good purpose to which the Tzadik wishes to bring us — for which purpose alone we came into the world. Your true lover forever, who always awaits your salvation and your success. The transcriber, Yisroel Dov Odesser If one binds himself to the words of Torah that issue from the mouth of the Tzadik — I wonder how it is possible thereafter to endure and to desire the life of this world."

Prayer Please, sole Master — Who teaches Torah to Your people Israel — have mercy upon us for the sake of Your Name. And grant me merit to cleave to Your holy Torah. And open my heart and my mind until I merit to hear and to understand well in my heart all the words of Your holy and pure and perfect Torah — which restores the soul and makes the simple wise, and rejoices the heart and illuminates the eyes, and stands forever. And may I merit to feel well the wonders of the pleasantness and the sweetness of the holy and most awesome novelties of the Torah — the Torah of Hashem itself, which the true Tzadik revealed — which gives life to all the worlds. And may I merit to take delight and to find pleasure in the words of his holy Torah — until I become disgusted and loathe the life of this world and its desires and its vanities. And all the life of this world will be entirely nullified for me — through the immensity of the pleasure and the delight and the joy that I merit to receive and to delight and to take pleasure from the words of his holy and awesome Torah.
