בשבוע שעברה קבלתי בשורת שלומכם הטוב, בצרוף על סך...והיה לי למשיב נפש, שזכית למצוה כזו שאין לה שיעור. אך באמת ה' יודע את לבי...עדיין אין שמחתי בשלמות, כי אולי אתה עושה מאמץ יותר מכוחך.
אני מתפלל שתזכה לקיים המצוה מעושר וכל טוב. וה' יתברך ירומם מזלכם וקרן הצלחתכם למעלה למעלה בזה ובבא.
זה לי כמה ימים שאני חולה, לא עליכם, על שפעת, וסובל מכאב ראש חזק. וברוך ה', היום הוקל לי קצת, בחסדי ה'.
