גם היה לי רב עונג ונחת רוח בלי שיעור, שראיתי שיש לך זכות לקיים המצוה המיוחדת של עשרת הדברות, כבוד אב, למען יאריכון ימיכם. קבלתי בעד הצ'ק שבעים לירות ישראליות. ידע כי זה יותר מחצי שנה שאני משלם בעד שכר דירה מאה לירות לחודש במקום חמישים לירות ששלמתי מקודם (עד כה).
אני חלוש כוח וסובל מכמה מחלות, לא עליכם, והשם יתברך בעזרי, ונתן ליעף כח לעבדו בכל לבבי ובכל נפשי, שזהו כל חיותי ומגמתי כל הימים אשר אני חי.
