Segment 1
המעתיר בעדך, המתפלל תמיד, שתזכה להנות מאור האמת הגנוז, לחיות חיות אמיתי ונצחי, שתזכה לשמוע היטב דברי אמת ותמים העמוקים מאד, הנובעים ממעין נשגב ונורא מאד מאד.
ימי הזקנה ושיבה קפצו עלינו וכוחנו חלש ודל, ושונאי נפשנו רבו כמעט בלי שיעור!
הטוב שלנו עתה בעיתים הללו, בחושך הזה, הוא ממש כתרנגול במנקר באשפה, שמתוך האשפה הוא מוציא איזה חצי גרעין של שעורים או חיטים וכיוצא, וכן חוזר ומחפש כל היום, עד שמוצא בכל פעם איזה חלק מפרור לחם המוטל באשפה ובזה מחייה עצמו.
והשם יתברך ברחמיו העצומים מבקש מישראל עם קרובו, שעל כל פנים יחיה עצמו במעט הטוב, שהוא רק כתרנגול המנקר באשפה, שגם זה יקר בעיניו יתברך והוא מצרפו לחשבון גדול.
עתה אחרי אשר האיר עינינו במחשכים כאלה לחיותנו כיום הזה בדורות הללו, יש לנו עצה גדולה ובית מנוס נפלא וכו'.
קליפת המן עמלק עומד בכל דור ודור, בכל עת ובכל יום, על כל אחד ואחד להפילו, חס ושלום, ולהחליש דעתו מאד. והשם יתברך בעצמו לוחם איתו על ידי הצדיק האמת, אשר גם בדורותינו אלה.
המהפך הכל לטובה, שמאיר עינינו בחידושי תורות כאלו, עד שגם אנחנו יכולים למצוא ולהבין עוצם חסדו יתברך בלי שיעור, ועדיין חביבותא גבן [ועדיין חביבותו אלינו], לשמור דרך ה' ולהתעורר ולהתקרב להשם יתברך מכל מקום שהוא, מכל מה שעובר על האדם בכל עת.
He who supplicates for you — who always prays — that you merit to enjoy the light of the hidden truth — to live a truly eternal life. That you merit to hear well the very deep words of truth and sincerity — that flow from the most exalted and most awesome spring.
Segment 2
The days of old age and hoariness have seized us suddenly — and our strength is weak and scant. And the enemies of our soul have multiplied — almost without measure!
Segment 3
Our good now in these times — in this darkness — is literally like a rooster pecking in a garbage heap. For from within the garbage he draws out some half-kernel of barley or wheat or the like. And so he continues searching all day — until he finds each time some fragment of a crumb of bread lying in the garbage heap. And through this he gives himself life.
Segment 4
And Hashem Yisburach — through His immense mercies — requests from Israel His near people — that at least they give themselves life with the small amount of good. Which is only like a rooster pecking in a garbage heap. For even this is precious in His eyes Yisburach — and He counts it toward a great reckoning.
Segment 5
Now — after He has illuminated our eyes in such darkness — to give us life as of this day in these generations — we have a great counsel and a wondrous place of refuge, etc.
Segment 6
The klipa of Haman-Amalek stands in every generation — at every moment and every day — against each and every one — to topple him, Heaven forbid — and to greatly weaken his mind. And Hashem Yisburach Himself battles with him — through the true Tzadik — even in these our generations.
Segment 7
He who transforms everything for good — who illuminates our eyes with such new Torah teachings — until even we are able to find and to understand the immensity of His kindness Yisburach without measure. And still our fondness is with Him (and still His fondness is toward us) — to guard the way of Hashem and to be aroused and to draw close to Hashem Yisburach from every place where one may be — from all that passes over the person at every moment.
