...ומטהר אותנו מאבי אבות הטומאה של כפירות ומינות ואמונות כזביות של הצבועים והשקרנים (החולקים על הצדיק האמת) הרודפים אחר כבוד והתנשאות, וחולקים על הצדיק האמת בגאוה ובוז ולוחמים (בחוצפא) בחוצפה ועזות ועזוז-מצח להרחיק ולהפריד נפשות ישראל מהצדיק שהוא עיקר מקור ושורש חיותם וישועתם שזהו עון פלילי מאד, יותר מכל עברות החמורות שבתורה, שעל ידי זה...כי עוד הם גורמים כל הכפירות ואפיקורסות ומשחירים ומאבדים את כל העולם ועל ידם כל הצרות והחורבנות שבא על ישראל

…And purifies us from the father of all fathers of impurity of the heresies and the heresy and the false faiths of the hypocrites and the liars (who dispute against the true Tzadik) — who pursue honor and self-aggrandizement. And who dispute against the true Tzadik with arrogance and contempt — and battle (with insolence) with insolence and brazenness and hardened brow — to distance and to separate the souls of Israel from the Tzadik — who is the essential source and root of their vitality and their salvation. For this is a very grave sin — more than all the serious transgressions in the Torah. Through which… for they also cause all the heresies and apostasy — and they blacken and destroy the entire world. And through them come all the troubles and the destructions that befall Israel.
