כי כלל ההתרחקות מהשם יתברך, וכל עיקר התיקון, התקוה לזכות לתשובה כל הרחוקים מאד מאד, שכמעט אבדה תקותם, בבחינת "ואומר אבד נצחי ותוחלתי", שעל ידי זה מאירין פני תבל...
על ידי הספרים הקדושים של הצדיק זוכין לעצות שלמות, שכל אחד יכול לתת עצה לנפשו בכל מקום אשר הוא שם.
שזה עיקר תיקון התשובה, שיתגבר לשוב להשם יתברך מכל מקום אשר הוא שם, אפילו אם נדמה לו שנתעה מאד מאד בעוונותיו הרבים, כי אין מקום בעולם שאין שם עצה ותקוה לצאת משם, רק שנעלם ממנו העצה על ידי קלקוליו הרבים; אבל על ידי אמונת חכמים בהצדיק הגדול, יש עצה בכל מקום שבעולם.
הצדיק מוריד ומשפיל עצמו לכל הרחוקים מאד מאד, להמשיך להם קדושת התורה לכל המקומות אשר הם שם.
והוא משתדל למצוא בהם איזה נקודות טובות, ומוריד ומשפיל עצמו אליהם, למקומות שהם שם, וממשיך להם אור קדושת התורה למקומם, ועל ידי זה הוא מקרב כל הרחוקים מאד להשם יתברך; ועל ידי עוצם ענותנותו וחכמתו העמוקה, כשרואה בהם איזה נקודה טובה כל שהוא (בעלמא), אף על פי שהוא רחוק מקדושת התורה מאד, מוריד עצמו אליהם לעוררם ולקרבם להשם יתברך.
For the entire distancing from Hashem Yisburach — and the entire essential repair — the hope to merit to teshuvah for all those most utterly distanced — who have nearly lost their hope — in the aspect of "And I said — my strength and my hope have perished" [Lamentations 3:18]. Through which the faces of the world are illuminated…
Segment 2
Through the holy books of the Tzadik — one merits to complete counsels. So that every single person is able to give counsel to his own soul — in every place where he may be. For this is the essential repair of teshuvah — to strengthen oneself to return to Hashem Yisburach from every place where one may be. Even if it seems to him that he has gone very greatly astray through his many sins. For there is no place in the world where there is no counsel and no hope to go out from there. Only the counsel is hidden from him through his many corruptions. But through faith in the sages — through the great Tzadik — there is counsel in every place in the world.
Segment 3
The Tzadik lowers and humbles himself to all the most utterly distanced ones — to draw the holiness of the Torah down to them — to every place where they may be. And he strives to find within them some good points. And lowers and humbles himself to them — to the places where they are. And draws the light of the holiness of the Torah down to them in their place. And through this he brings all the most distanced ones close to Hashem Yisburach. And through the immensity of his humility and his deep wisdom — when he sees within them some good point — however small (whatsoever) — even though one may be very distanced from the holiness of the Torah — he lowers himself to them — to arouse them and to bring them close to Hashem Yisburach.
