על ידי כל מיני פגם הברית קודש, באים לידי כפירות גדולות ולאמונות כזביות, מזה באים כל האפיקורסים והכופרים וכן כל החולקים על הצדיק האמת. וכל מי שרוצה לחוס על נפשו, להציל נפשו מן השאול-תחתיות ומתחתיו, עיקר תיקונו, שישליך ויסלק שכלו לגמרי, כאילו אין לו שום שכל (ודת) ודעת כלל, ויתחזק באמונה שלמה בהשם יתברך ובצדיק האמת בתכלית הפשיטות, בלי חכמות כלל, ואז בודאי יזכה לתקן כל פגמיו ויזכה לתשובה שלמה.
המחלוקת שיש על הצדיק האמת, זה עיקר בחינת מלחמת עמלק, ועיקר התיקון לזה להתנהג בתמימות ובפשיטות ובאמת, ולזעוק מאד להשם יתברך שיורהו האמת לאמיתו.
החפץ באמת, מוסרין לו מלאך של אמת, ואז זוכה לידע האמת.
לפעמים על ידי העליה שעולה האדם בעשירות או בחכמה, על ידי זה דיקא נוטה מן האמת, ומהפכו מסדרו האמיתי, וחולק על הצדיק.
האמת עד לעצמו, ובודאי החפץ באמת לאמיתו ומבטל כבוד עצמו לגמרי ואינו רוצה להטעות את עצמו, אז יכול לידע ולהבין האמת היטב. וכן לפעמים האדם, מחמת ירידתו הגדולה שירד בגלות, בגלות התמורות מאד, כל אחד כפי ירידתו...

Through all kinds of blemish of the holy Bris — one comes to great heresies and false faiths. From this come all the apostates and the heretics. And so too all those who dispute against the true Tzadik. And all who wish to have compassion upon their souls — to save their souls from the nethermost depths and below them — the essential repair is to truly cast away and to remove one's intellect entirely — as though one has no intellect (and religion) and daas whatsoever. And to strengthen oneself in complete faith in Hashem Yisburach and in the true Tzadik — in the ultimate simplicity — without any wisdom at all. And then certainly he will merit to repair all his blemishes — and merit to complete teshuvah.


## Segment 2

The dispute against the true Tzadik — this is the essential aspect of the war of Amalek. And the essential repair for this is to conduct oneself in sincerity and simplicity and truth — and to cry out greatly to Hashem Yisburach that He show him the truly true truth.


## Segment 3

One who desires the truth — an angel of truth is assigned to him. And then he merits to know the truth.


## Segment 4

Sometimes through the ascent that a person makes — in wealth or in wisdom — through this specifically he turns away from the truth. And he is inverted from his true order — and disputes against the Tzadik.


## Segment 5

The truth is its own witness. And certainly one who truly desires the truth — and entirely nullifies his own honor — and does not wish to deceive himself — then he can know and understand the truth well. And so too sometimes a person — because of his great descent that he descends in the exile — in the exile of the exchanges greatly — each one according to his descent…
