      "he": "על ידי ההתקרבות להצדיק האמת, זוכים לראות הפתחים איך לצאת מכל מיני חושך, ועל ידי זה חוזרים למוטב. ההתקרבות להצדיק האמת מביא את האדם לידי מעשה ולקיום התורה, שזהו העיקר, כי \"לא המדרש...אלא המעשה\", כי עיקר הלימוד ללמוד וללמד, לשמור ולעשות וכו'. ומחמת שהלימוד הזה, להכניס קיום התורה בעולם, הוא עמוק עמוק מאד מי ימצאנו, לזה צריכין ללקט ולקבץ יחד כל דברי הצדיק ולילך בדרכיו דייקא ולא על פי חכמות חיצוניות, חס ושלום, אפילו על פי דרכי המוסר שלהם, כי אין להם כוח להביא את האדם לקיום התורה, רק גם להפך, חס ושלום, כנראה בחוש.\nהתקרבות להצדיק הוא תיקון גדול ביותר מכל (מיני) תיקוני התשובה, כי על ידי הצדיק נתתקנים כל מיני חטאים שבעולם בתכלית השלמות, עד שנעשה מהם זכויות.\nדיבורי הצדיק מחזקים ומעוררים ומלהיבים את לב בני ישראל מאד לקיים המצוות כפשוטן, כדת וכדין, כמו שמסרו לנו רבותינו ז\"ל, שכל פרושיהם ובאוריהם הוא משורש התורה שבכתב.\nצריכים דייקא להשתדל וכו'...",
      "en": "Through drawing close to the true Tzadik — one merits to see the openings — how to go out from all kinds of darkness. And through this — one returns to good. The drawing close to the true Tzadik brings the person to action and to the fulfillment of the Torah. And this is the essential thing. For \"not the study… but the deed\" [Ethics of Our Fathers 1:17]. For the essential learning is to learn and to teach — to guard and to do, etc. And because this learning — to bring in the fulfillment of the Torah in the world — is very, very deep — who can find it? For this — one needs to gather and to collect all the words of the Tzadik — and to walk specifically in his paths. And not according to the external wisdoms — Heaven forbid. Even according to their ways of moral instruction. For they have no power to bring the person to the fulfillment of the Torah. Rather the opposite — Heaven forbid — as one sees tangibly."
