העיקר, שתתגבר בכל כוחך לחטוף ולגזול לעצמך איזה שעה בכל יום לעסוק בספרי הצדיק, בתוך כל העסקים וטרדות רבות שיש לך, לחטוף ולגזול...
אפילו מי שיש לו עסקים וטרדות רבות, אף על פי כן אי אפשר שלא יוכל לחטוף ולגזול לעצמו איזה שעה ביום לעסוק בתורה.
...וכל זה מחמת שהצדיק האמת נעלם מאיתנו, על כן ערבב השטן את העולם עד שבאנו למה שבאנו...
עכשיו התגברות הסטרא-אחרא כל-כך, עד שאין שום כוח לבטלו, כי אם כוח הצדיק האמת בעצמו, שהוא בחינת משה משיח...ואז דייקא יש כח להשטן להתגבר בבילבולים וכפירות כאלה, עד שאין כוח לבטלו בשום דבר, כי אם הצדיק שהוא בחינת משה רבינו בעצמו, שהוא הצדיק המנהיג האמת שבדורנו ושל כל הדורות העומדים לבוא. אבל תכף כשנתגלה הצדיק, הוא מכניע ומשבר ומבטל את הכפירות, ומחזק ומברר לישראל את האמונה הקדושה כפי היום והשעה של עכשיו, ואם היו זוכין ישראל...כי אף על פי שכבר זכו ישראל וזכינו לאמונה על ידי משה רבינו וכו', אחר כך על ידי הצדיקים והנביאים שהיו בכל דור, שעל ידם נתבררה האמונה בכל פעם יותר ויותר, אף על פי כן אנו צריכים עכשיו בדור הזה להתקרב לצדיק האמת, כדי שיברר לנו האמונה כפי העת והזמן של עכשיו, כי האמונה צריכים לברר בכל יום ויום מחדש.

Even so — we now in this generation must draw close to the true Tzadik — in order that he clarify for us the faith according to the time and the moment of now. For the faith must be clarified every single day anew.
