בעוצם חשכת שפלותנו בדור היתום הזה, וגודל עומק תכלית תכלית הירידה בכפירות ואמונות כזביות, שהם הם עצם קליפת עמלק, דיוטא התחתונה, שאנו מותחים כעת, עד שבאנו אצל קצה והסוף של ישראל, במקום שגבול ישראל כלה, שמשם והלאה אין מתפשט קדושת ישראל; אבל אף על פי כן וכו' - סוף כל סוף יתגבר כוח הצדיק, להעלות ולהוציא גם את כל הנפשות שנפלו לתוך הזוהמות והטומאות האלה, שהם הם עצם קליפות עמלק. ואף על פי שמעוצם האפיקורסות והחושך ואפלה כמעט עד אין תכלית אשר בימינו האלה, כמעט שלא ידעו עוד כלל מהו האמת, אבל מיד בהגיע העת והשעה שיתגלה הצדיק האמת (בעולם), שלא היה עוד כמוהו מעולם, אז יקיים...(אז יקום) ידי חובת כל אחד.
...ליבי יקירי, שזכה לטעום נעימת האמת, והתעורר באש הבוער בלבבו להגדיל, לפאר ולפרסם בכל העולם את שם הצדיק האמת, הממשיך עלינו אורו של משיח, ומשבר ומבטל בביטול גמור...לפאר ולפרסם...

In the very extremity of the darkness of our lowliness — in this orphaned generation.
