And saves them from the torrent of the many waters — (which are the aspect of the waters of the Flood) — that intensify every time to destroy the world — Heaven forbid. For from this illumination — the holy Chanukah candle is kindled and illuminated. We draw down upon us the great light of the true Tzadik — who is the aspect of the wholeness of the redemption that will come through our righteous Moshiach.
