ה' עזוז וגבור יהיה מעוזך, ויחזק את לבבך בכל עוז ותעצומות, למסור נפשך לדלג על מה שצריך לדלג, לדלג על הכל, להמשיך על מוחך וחכמתך ודעתך הארה מהניגון והשיר של חסד של הצדיק האמת, שיתגלה לעתיד בעת קץ האחרון על ידי משיח צדקינו, שעל ידו יהפוך כל העולם מרע לטוב, ויגלה לכולם אלקותו יתברך (לעין כל).
אחי, יקירי וחביבי! ה' יודע את לבבי, כי נכסוף נכספתי בכל ליבי ונפשי לטייל עמך בגן-עדן של הצדיק יום יום, אך אין לי כח ואין דעתי גם צלולה, מחמת הגלים הקשים והעצומים, ההרפתקאות והתלאות העובר עלי בכל יום ויום.
אבל אף על פי כן, בכל זאת אינני מסיח דעתי ממך, ואתה צמוד תמיד בעמקי לבבי, וחושב ושוקד לישועתך הנצחית, כידוע לך זה בברור גמור.
כשמדברין לשון הרע על הצדיק והנלוים אליו, חס ושלום, על ידי זה מפרידין בין כלל ישראל, שהם בחינת נקודה התחתונה, ובין הצדיק שהוא בחינת נקודה העליונה שעוסק בכל דור, שיכול לקרב הכל להשם יתברך אפילו את הרחוקים ביותר. ועל כן "נרגן מפריד אלוף", ועונשו גדול מאד.
בספר הנדפס מנו את מכתב שסג כמספר שסב שנית. אז מכאן ולהלאה לפי המכתבים בספר צריכים לחסר אחד מהמספר.
B.H. May Hashem — the mighty and the heroic — be your stronghold. And may He strengthen your heart with all strength and might — to give your soul — to leap over what one must leap over — to leap over everything. To draw down upon your mind and your wisdom and your daas — an illumination from the melody and the song of kindness of the true Tzadik. That will be revealed in the future — at the time of the final End — through our righteous Moshiach. Through whom the entire world will be transformed from evil to good. And He will reveal to all His G-dliness Yisburach (before all eyes).

My brother — my dearest and my beloved! Hashem knows my heart — for I have longed and longed with all my heart and soul — to stroll with you in the Garden of Eden of the Tzadik day by day. But I have no strength — and my mind is also not clear. Because of the harsh and immense waves — the adventures and the afflictions — that pass over me every single day. But even so — in spite of everything — I do not remove my thought from you. And you are always attached in the very depths of my heart. And I think and deliberate for your eternal salvation — as is well and clearly known to you.
Segment 3
When one speaks slander about the Tzadik and those who join him — Heaven forbid — through this one separates between the collective of Israel — who are the aspect of the lower point — and between the Tzadik — who is the aspect of the upper point — who engages in every generation. Who is able to bring everything close to Hashem Yisburach — even the most distanced ones. And therefore: "a whisperer separates the closest of friends" [Proverbs 16:28]. And his punishment is very great.
