אור הצדיק גדול מאד, אלפי אלפים רבי רבבות פעמים בלי שיעור, כנגד העולם; ומהראוי היה שלא תוכל, שלא יוכל העולם להעלים ולהסתיר אור הגדול הזה, מאחר שהעולם קטן מאד מאד כנגד האור הגדול הזה. אך מחמת שהעולם עומד בסמוך לפני העיניים, על ידי זה העולם חוצץ וסותם בפני העיניים מלראות אור הגדול של הצדיק. אבל מי שהוא חכם מעט ומטה עיניו קצת מן העולם, תכף יוכל להאיר לו אור הנפלא של הצדיק, ויראה שכל העולם כאפס ואין כנגד אור הנפלא הזה, כי אין כח בהעולם הקטן הזה לחצוץ בפני האור הגדול והנורא הזה, כי אם מחמת שעומד בסמוך לפני העיניים.
