...אשר פקח עינינו לראות אמיתת נקודת האמת...גם נעשה עימנו מה שנעשה בדורות אלו האחרונים, אף על פי כן, אשרינו אשר פקח עינינו לראות....
הצדיק האמת, בגודל קדושתו מוריד את עצמו לעומק הנפילות של כל ישראל בכל דור, ומאיר בלב ישראל, כל אחד, שאפילו בתכלית החושך הגמור יתחזק גם כן ברצונות חזקים וכיסופים גדולים לשוב להשם יתברך, ואפילו התעוררות כל דהוא כחוט השערה אינו נאבד לעולם. כי הצדיק האמת משגיח על זה ומקבץ ומאסף כל הרצונות הטובים ובונה מהם בנינים נפלאים, מלקט  ומקבץ ומאסף כל הנקודות טובות שיש בהם.
כל עיקר הקיום והמעמד שלנו בעוצם התגברות החושך אשר בימינו אלה, הוא רק על ידי הצדיק האמת, כי אין לך אבן בעולם שלא יהיה ביכולתו להפכו ל'לב בשר' ואין לך נבוך בעולם שלא יהיה ביכולתו לעקור מאיתה כל המבוכות ולהפכה ללב ישר, עד שסוף כל סוף יגמור מה שחפץ.

## Segment 2

…Who has opened our eyes to see the truth of the point of truth… Also, whatever happened to us in these latter generations — even so, fortunate are we that He has opened our eyes to see….


## Segment 3

The true Tzadik — through the greatness of his holiness — lowers himself to the very depths of the falls of all of Israel in every generation. And illuminates in the heart of every one of Israel — that even in the very ultimate complete darkness, he should also strengthen himself with strong desires and great yearnings to return to Hashem Yisburach. And even any arousal at all — as thin as a hairsbreadth — is never lost forever. For the true Tzadik watches over this — and gathers and collects all the good desires — and builds from them wondrous buildings. He gathers and collects and assembles all the good points within them.


## Segment 4

The entire essential existence and standing for us — in the very intensity of the overpowering darkness of these our days — is only through the true Tzadik. For there is no stone in the world that it would not be within his power to transform into a "heart of flesh" [Ezekiel 36:26]. And there is no confused person in the world that it would not be within his power to uproot from him all confusions — and to transform him into an upright heart. Until in the end he will complete what he desires.
