כשאחד מישראל בא לו כבוד חדש, (אזי צריך לבלי להשתמש עם הכבוד לצרכו) להנאת עצמו, שלא יהיה הכבוד אצלו כעבד למלאות (תאותו), רק להעלות הכבוד להשם יתברך, בבחינת "והיתה לה' המלוכה", ולהצדיק האמת, שמקרב כל הרחוקים ביותר להשם יתברך, שעל ידי זה נתעלה...

…To gird himself with strength and power and heroism — like a strong and courageous warrior of valor. To stand in this — not to make use of the honor for his own needs and his own pleasure. And not to take for himself at all from the honor. Only to elevate all the honor to Hashem Yisburach and to the true Tzadik. In order that through this — the honor that he has — the honor of Hashem Yisburach and the honor of the true Tzadik and the honor of Hashem Yisburach be magnified and elevated.

When a person of Israel has new honor come to him — then he must (gird himself with strength and power and heroism, etc. as above). When a person of Israel has new honor come to him (then he must not make use of the honor for his own needs) — for his own pleasure. That the honor not be with him like a servant — to fulfill (his desire). Only to elevate the honor to Hashem Yisburach — in the aspect of "and the kingship will be Hashem's" [Ovadiah 1:21]. And to the true Tzadik — who brings the most utterly distanced ones close to Hashem Yisburach. Through which it is elevated…
