...(המציל) נפשות עשוקות מן החיות רעות, (מן הפחים והמצודות וכל הבחינת הרעות) שהיה בלתי אפשרי לעמוד נגדם. אבל השם יתברך גיבור על הכל, ועש עמנו נסים ונפלאות גדולות ונוראות, ועזר והושיע להצדיק להכניע קליפת המן הרשע וכל זרע עמלק ולהפיל אותו וזרעו.
בכל מקום שהסטרא-אחרא מתגבר ביותר, בודאי יש שם קדושה טמונה וצפונה ונסתרת, קדושה גבוהה מאד מאד, להכניע הסטרא-אחרא והקליפה ההיא.
תאמין ותדע בכל יום ובכל עת ובכל מקום, שיש לנו כח עדיין, איך שהוא, להתגבר על מה שצריך להתגבר באותו היום והמקום דייקא .
האדם יש לו בכוחו לבטל הסטרא (אחרא) דמותא מעצמו, להכניע הגוף והחומר, שהוא בחינת מיתה.

Believe and know — every day and at every moment and in every place — that we still have power — however things may be — to overcome what one must overcome — specifically on that day and in that place.

The person has within his power — to nullify the sitra d'mussa (the side of death) from himself — to subdue the body and the matter — which is the aspect of death.
