יש נדחים שלא יאמינו לעונש החטא. יש לנו אב זקן, זקן שבזקנים, אשר כוחו גדול ונורא מאד מאד, עד אין סוף ואין תכלית, ואיך שיהיה, איך שיהיה, יתקן אותך (ואותנו כולנו) רבינו זכרונו לברכה בתיקון נפלא רק חזק ואמץ למוד ספריו, ואני מקוה שאחריתך ישגה מאד והעיקר שלא תהיה התכלית הקריאה לבד.

Segment 2
There are displaced ones who will not believe in the punishment of sin. We have an old father — the elder of elders. Whose power is very great and awesome — without end and without limit. And however things may be — however they may be — Rabbainu — may his memory be for a blessing — will repair you (and all of us) with a most wondrous repair. Only be strong and courageous — to study his books. And I hope that your end will flourish greatly. And the essential thing — that the purpose not be the reading alone.
