תּוֹרָה קכז
הַבְּגָדִים יִהְיוּ שְׁלֵמִים תָּמִיד וְלֹא קְרוּעִים, וְהַבְּגָדִים בְּעַצְמָם תּוֹבְעִין אֶת הָאָדָם לְדִין, אִם לֹא נִזְהָר בִּשְׁמִירָתָם לְכַבְּדָם כָּרָאוּי וּלְהַחֲזִיקָם בִּנְקִיּוּת:

EN:
Garments must always be complete and not torn. And the garments themselves bring the person to judgment — if one has not been careful to guard them properly and keep them in cleanliness as is fitting.
