תּוֹרָה קל
עַל־יְדֵי עֲנָוָה נִצּוֹל מִנִּאוּף וְזוֹכֶה לִשְׁמִירַת הַבְּרִית, אֲבָל עַל־יְדֵי גַּאֲוָה וְגַדְלוּת מִתְגַּבֵּר עָלָיו הַיֵּצֶר הָרָע בְּתַאֲוָה זֹאת:

Through humility one is saved from immorality and merits to guard the "bris". But through arrogance and self-aggrandisement — the evil inclination overpowers one with this desire.
