      "he": "תּוֹרָה קסט\nא. עַל־יְדֵי הִתְבּוֹדְדוּת שֶׁדָּן וְשׁוֹפֵט אֶת עַצְמוֹ אִם כָּךְ רָאוּי לוֹ לְהִתְנַהֵג, וּמְתַקֵּן מַעֲשָׂיו שֶׁיִּתְנַהֵג עַל־פִּי דִּינֵי וּמִשְׁפְּטֵי הַתּוֹרָה, נִמְתָּקִין הַדִּינִים, וְעַל־יְדֵי־זֶה זוֹכִין לְשִׂמְחָה עַד שֶׁיִּרְקֹד מֵחֲמַת שִׂמְחָה:\nב. עִקַּר פְּגַם הַבְּרִית הוּא עַל־יְדֵי עַצְבוּת וּמָרָה שְׁחוֹרָה, וְכֵן לְהִפּוּךְ עַל־יְדֵי שִׂמְחָה אָז הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ בְּעַצְמוֹ שׁוֹמֵר לוֹ אֶת הַבְּרִית, הַיְנוּ שֶׁהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ בְּעַצְמוֹ עוֹזֵר לוֹ לִשְׁמֹר אֶת הַבְּרִית קֹדֶשׁ:",
      "en": "Through hisbodidus — in which one judges and sentences oneself as to whether one is conducting oneself properly — and one corrects one's deeds to conduct oneself according to the laws and ordinances of the Torah — the judgments are sweetened. And through this one merits to joy — until one dances from great joy.\n\nThe primary blemish of the \"bris\" comes through sadness and melancholy [marah sh'chorah]. And likewise in reverse — through joy — Hashem Yisborach Himself guards one's \"bris\". That is — Hashem Yisborach Himself helps one to guard the holy \"bris\"."
