עִקַּר נְשִׁיכַת הַנָּחָשׁ הוּא עַצְבוּת וְעַצְלוּת, עַל־כֵּן צָרִיךְ לִזָּהֵר מְאֹד מֵעַצְבוּת וְעַצְלוּת:

The primary bite of the serpent is sadness and laziness. Therefore one must be very careful from sadness and laziness.
