תּוֹרָה קצו
אָסוּר לְהָאָדָם לְהִתְעַקֵּשׁ בִּתְפִלָּתוֹ שֶׁהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יַעֲשֶׂה לוֹ דַּוְקָא בַּקָּשָׁתוֹ, כִּי זֶה כְּמוֹ לוֹקֵחַ דָּבָר בְּחָזְקָה בִּגְזֵלָה, רַק צָרִיךְ לְהִתְפַּלֵּל בְּרַחֲמִים וּבְתַחֲנוּנִים, אִם יִתֵּן הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יִתֵּן, וְאִם לָאו, לָאו:

EN:
It is forbidden for a person to be stubborn in his prayer — insisting that Hashem Yisborach do exactly as he requests. For this is like seizing something forcibly — as robbery. Rather one must pray with mercy and supplication: if Hashem Yisborach grants — He grants — and if not — not.
