תּוֹרָה רנב
כְּשֶׁיֵּשׁ אַחְדוּת בֵּין הַצַּדִּיקִים אֵין הַצְּדָקָה מַזֶּקֶת, כִּי עַל־פִּי הַטֶּבַע כְּשֶׁנּוֹתְנִים צְדָקָה נֶחְסָר מֵאִתּוֹ מַה שֶּׁנָּתַן, וְעַל־יְדֵי הָאַחְדוּת שֶׁבֵּין הַצַּדִּיקִים יוּכַל לָתֵת צְדָקָה הַרְבֵּה וְלֹא יֶחְסַר כְּלָל. וְכֵן עַל־יְדֵי־זֶה יְכוֹלִים שֶׁיִּהְיֶה לְהָאָדָם מְסִירַת נֶפֶשׁ בֶּאֱמֶת, וְאַף־עַל־פִּי־כֵן לֹא יַזִּיק לוֹ כְּלָל וְיִשָּׁאֵר בַּחַיִּים:
When there is unity between the Tzadikim — charity does not harm one. For by nature when one gives charity — what one gave is diminished from him. But through the unity among the Tzadikim — one can give much charity and nothing is diminished at all. And likewise through this one can have genuine self-sacrifice — and even so it will not harm one at all and one will remain alive.
