כשיש אחדות בין הצדיקים, אין הצדקה מזקת כי על פי הטבע כשנותנין צדקה נחסר מאתו מה שנתן, אבל על ידי האחדות שבין הצדיקים יוכל לתן צדקה ולא יחסר כלל, וכן על ידי זה יכולים שיהיה להאדם מסירת נפש באמת, ואף על פי כן לא יזיק לו וישאר בחיים:

252 - When there is unity between the tzadikim, the charity does not harm

When there is unity between the

tzadikim

, the charity does not harm [cause loss], because according to the nature when one gives charity it is lacking from him what he gave, but through the unity between the

tzadikim

one can give charity and not lack at all. And

similarly

through this one can have self-sacrifice in truth and even so not harm him and remain in life.
