      "en": "Likutay Moharan II, Torah 30: When a New Book Comes to the World\n\nWhen a new\n\nsefer\n\n[book] comes to the world, and this is explained by us, that there are\n\nchiddushim\n\n[new insights] that are made through\n\ndemaos\n\n[tears] (see Torah 262), then these\n\ndemaos\n\nof the\n\nchiddushim\n\n, from which the new\n\nsefer\n\nis made, stand against the decrees of the nations and nullify them. And the matter is explained, for all their strength is from the\n\ndemaos\n\nof Esav (see Zohar,\n\nShemos\n\n12). And therefore, when there are these\n\ndemaos\n\nmentioned above, they stand against them and nullify them. בְּכִיָּה\n\nbicheya\n\n[weeping], the acronym: בְּBinay יִ\n\nYisro'el\n\nKichol\n\nHa'yum\n\n[Children of Israel like the sand of the sea] (Hosea 2:1). Just as the sand of the sea protects against the waves of the sea, that they do not flood the world (see Zohar,\n\nPekuday\n\n225; Rashi, Psalms 2), so too the Children of Israel protect against them with the\n\nbecheyah\n\n[weeping] and\n\ndemaos\n\n(tears). Against the decrees of the nations, as mentioned above, בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּחוֹל הַיָּם [Children of Israel like the sand of the sea],\n\nmispar\n\n[number], that is, from the\n\nsefer\n\nmentioned above, from there the Children of Israel are like the sand of the sea, that is, the\n\nbechiyah\n\nand\n\ndemaos\n\nof the\n\nchiddushim\n\nin the\n\nsefer\n\n, which protect against them, as mentioned above."
