כָּל זְמַן שֶׁאֵין הָאָדָם מְיָאֵשׁ אֶת עַצְמוֹ מִלְּחַפֵּשׂ אַחַר אֲבֵדוֹתָיו הָרַבִּים בִּרְצוֹנוֹת וְכִסּוּפִין טוֹבִים וְגַעְגּוּעִים חֲזָקִים לְהַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ, אָז יֵשׁ לוֹ תִּקְוָה עֲדַיִן שֶׁיַּחֲזִירוּ לוֹ אֲבֵדוֹתָיו בִּשְׁלֵמוּת, [עַיֵּן רָצוֹן אוֹת ל"ח]

EN:
As long as a person does not despair of seeking his many lost things through good wills, yearnings, and strong longings for Hashem — he still has hope that his lost things will be returned to him in full. See: Will, Ois 38.
