כְּשֶׁנִּתְקַן הַמִּנְחָה, בָּא הוּ אֵצֶל הַנּ', וְעוֹשָׂה מְנוּחָה. וּמַה שֶּׁעַד עַתָּה אֲפִילוּ הַנְּבוּאָה הָיָה בָּא בְּקוֹשִׁי עַל יְדֵי כַּמָּה דִּינִים קָשִׁים, אַחַ"כ יִהְיֶה הַכֹּל בִּמְנוּחָה, כִּי הַבָּשָׂר יְתֻקָּן. וּמִפְּנֵי הַבָּשָׂר שֶׁלֹּא נִתָּקַן, הָיָה צָרִיךְ אֵלֶּה הַדִּינִים, אַחַ"כ — *"מַה יָּפִית וּמַה נָּעַמְתְּ"* — גַּם הַנּוֹעַם יִהְיֶה, כִּי הוּ יִתְחַבֵּר, וְיַעֲשֶׂה מְנוּחָה. וְזֶה הוּ הִיא יִ"ג בְּסוֹד אַהֲבָה, וְזֶהוּ *"אַהֲבָה בַּתַּעֲנוּגִים"*. *"וְהָיְתָה מְנוּחָתוֹ כָּבוֹד"*, שֶׁהִיא ל"ב, בְּסוֹד לֵב שֶׁאָמַרְתִּי, יִהְיֶה בְּסוֹד מְנוּחָה בַּחִבּוּר הוֹל, *"מְנוּחָתוֹ כָּבוֹד"* וַדַּאי. מִשָּׁם וְהָלְאָה — *"וְהָיָה ה' לְמֶלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ, בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִהְיֶה ה' אֶחָד וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד"*.
**When the *Minchah* is rectified, he [the *Ru'ach*] comes to the *Nun* (*Nukva*), and makes *menuchah* (rest).** And what until now — even prophecy — came with difficulty through many hard judgments, afterwards all shall be in rest, for the flesh shall be rectified. And because of the flesh that was not rectified, these judgments were needful; afterwards — *"How fair and how pleasant!"* — the pleasantness too shall be, for he shall unite, and make the *menuchah*. And **this — "*hu*-*hi*" (he-she united) — is י"ג (13)** in the secret of *Ahavah* [[אהבה] = 1+5+2+5 = 13], and this is: *"Ahavah in delights"* [Shir HaShirim 7:7]. *"And his rest shall be Kavod"* — which is ל"ב (32), in the secret of *Lev* that I said — [this] shall be in the secret of *menuchah* in the joining of *HoL* [[הול] — a Kabbalistic abbreviation preserved from the manuscript; the specific referent is uncertain], *"menuchaso kavod"*, certainly. From there onward — *"And Hashem shall be King over all the earth; on that day Hashem shall be One and His Name One"* [Zechariah 14:9].

§ 1. The Corner of *Shalom* — the Great Order of the Merkavah

פָּנָה זֹאת הִיא פִּנַּת הַשָּׁלוֹם. בָּזֶה תְּלוּי סִדּוּר גָּדוֹל לְכָל פִּרְקֵי הַמֶּרְכָּבָה לַעֲמוֹד עַל נָכוֹן, אֲשֶׁר לֹא עָמְדוּ לָעוֹלָם. וּלְבוּשׁ הַגֵּאוּת שֶׁל הַקָּבָ"ה אֵינוֹ נַעֲשֶׂה אֶלָּא מֵחֲסִידוּת שֶׁל בְּנֵי אָדָם. וְהוּא אֵינוֹ מִתְלַבֵּשׁ בּוֹ אֶלָּא אַחַר שֶׁתַּעֲמוֹד הַמֶּרְכָּבָה בְּסִדְרָהּ. וְאָז יִהְיֶה הַקֶּשֶׁת מֵאִיר בְּגַ[וְנֵי] נְהִירִין — *"כְּמַרְאֵה הַקֶּשֶׁת אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה בֶעָנָן"*. וְאָז הַשָּׁלוֹם יִתְפַּשֵּׁט בָּעוֹלָם ... [וְהוּא] מָקוֹם שֶׁהָעֶלְיוֹנִים וְהַתַּחְתּוֹנִים עוֹמְדִים בְּשַׁלְוָה אַחַת בְּלֹא רֶגֶשׁ וּבְלֹא קִ[נְאָה].
**This Corner is the Corner of *Shalom* (Peace).** Upon this depends a great ordering for all the chapters of the Merkavah to stand in a right manner — which they never stood in up to this time. And the garment of the pride of the Holy-One-Blessed-be-He is not made except from the *chasidus* (piety / loving-devotion) of the sons of Adam. And He does not clothe Himself in it except after the Merkavah stands in its order. And then the Rainbow (*Keshes*) shall illuminate in shining colors (*gavnei nehirin*) — *"as the appearance of the Rainbow that shall be in the cloud"* [Yechezkel 1:28]. And then *Shalom* shall spread forth in the world ... [and it is] the place where the upper and the lower stand in one tranquility — without tumult and without *kin'ah* (jealousy).

§ 2. The Name *MaTZPa"TZ* — the Blessing that Establishes the World

שֵׁם הַפָּנָה הַזֹּאת **מַצְפַּ"ץ** אָיוֹם וְנוֹרָא, שֶׁבּוֹ הַפָּנָה הַזֹּאת עוֹלָה עַד אֵין תַּכְלִית, עַד שֶׁאֵין שׁוּם בְּרָכָה יְכוֹלָה לְהִתְחַזֵּק בָּעוֹלָם זוּלָתָהּ. וּלְפִי שֶׁלֹּא נִתְגַּבְּרָה עַד עַתָּה בְּמַעֲשֶׂיהָ, כִּי הַקִּנְאָה הָיְתָה בָּעוֹלָם, עַל כֵּן לֹא נִתְקַיֵּים הָעוֹלָם בִּבְרָכָה. וּלְעָ"ל נֶאֱמַר: *"ה' עֹז לְעַמּוֹ יִתֵּן ה' יְבָרֵךְ אֶת עַמּוֹ בַשָּׁלוֹם"* — עֹז וַדַּאי. כִּי עֹז מַרְאָה גֵאוּת שֶׁל הַקָּבָ"ה, סוֹ"ז: *"ה' מֶלֶךְ גֵּאוּת לָבֵשׁ ה' עֹז הִתְאַזָּר"*. וְאָז הָעוֹלָם יִהְיֶה נָכוֹן, מַה שֶּׁלֹּא הָיָה עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה, וְאָז: *"אַף תִּכּוֹן תֵּבֵל בַּל תִּמּוֹט"*, שֶׁתַּעֲמוֹד הַמֶּרְכָּבָה בְּכָל סִדְרָהּ, וְאָז הַבְּרָכָה וְהַשָּׁלוֹם יִהְיֶה בָּעוֹלָם.
The name of this Corner is ***MaTZPa"TZ*** [[מצפ"ץ] — the atbash-cipher of יהוה] — Awesome and Fearsome — in whom this Corner ascends up to the Endless, such that no blessing can strengthen in the world other than through her. And since she has not up until now prevailed through her deeds — for *kin'ah* has been in the world — therefore the world has not stood firm in blessing. And for the time-to-come is said: *"Hashem will give strength ( oz*) to His people; Hashem will bless His people with *Shalom*" [Tehillim 29:11] — *oz*, certainly. For *oz* reveals the pride (*ge'us*) of the Holy-One-Blessed-be-He, the secret of this: *"Hashem reigns, He is clothed in pride; Hashem clothed Himself, He girded Himself with oz*" [Tehillim 93:1]. And then the world shall be established — what has not been until this day — and then: *"Yea, the world shall be firm that it shall not be shaken"* [Tehillim 93:1] — that the Merkavah shall stand in its full order, and then blessing and *Shalom* shall be in the world.

§ 3. The Root of Jealousy — Beginning with the Angels

בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁמִּתְפַּשֵּׁט הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ מִלִּפְנֵי הַכָּבוֹד לַעֲשׂוֹת כָּל הַנִּבְרָאִים, הָיָה נוֹתֵן לָהֶם הֲכָנָה וְתִקּוּן. וּבַתְּחִלָּה נָתַן לָהֶם בְּחִירָה, וְאָז לֹא הָיָה נִרְאֶה אוֹרוֹ בְּכָל כָּךְ בֵּרוּר, כִּי הָיָה מִתְעַלֵּם בְּהִמָּשְׁכוֹ אֶל הַתַּחְתּוֹנִים. וְעָמַד אוֹר אֶחָד חָזָק, שֶׁהוּא הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ **אֲהֹוָ"ה** — הַמְקַשֵּׁר עֶלְיוֹנִים וְתַחְתּוֹנִים בְּיַחַד. וּבְהַגִּיעַ מְאוֹרוֹת שֶׁל שֵׁם יְקֹו"ק אֶל זֶה הַשֵּׁם אֲהֹוָה, הָיָה מְצָרְפָם וּמְחַלְּקָם לְכָל אֶחָד לְעֶבְרוֹ. וּמִי שֶׁיָּצָא מֵהֶם, הָיוּ מְקַבְּלִים לְפִי הַשֹּׁרֶשׁ הַמַּשְׁפִּיעַ, בְּלִי שִׁינּוּי. וְכֵן קִבְּלוּ הַמַּלְאָכִים בִּתְחִלָּה, וּלְכָךְ חָפֵץ כָּל אֶחָד לָקַחַת מַעֲלָתוֹ. וְאֵין קִנְאָה בֵּינֵיהֶם, כִּי קִבְּלוּ מִשָּׁרְשָׁם בְּלִי שִׁינּוּי, וְכָל אֶחָד חָפֵץ רַק בְּשָׁרְשׁוֹ.
At the time when the Holy Name spread forth from before the Glory to make all the creations, He would give them preparation and rectification. And at first He gave them *bechirah* (choice) — and then His Light was not seen with such clarity, for it would conceal itself in its being-drawn to the lower ones. And there stood one mighty Light — which is **the Holy Name *AHVH*** [[אהו"ה] = *Alef-Heh-Vav-Heh*, a permutation of YKVK with *Alef* in place of *Yud*; not to be confused with the common word *ahavah* (love), which is אהבה] — the One Who binds upper and lower together. And upon the arrival of the illuminations of the Name YKVK at this Name *AHVH*, He would refine them and divide them, each one to his side. And whoever went forth from them would receive according to the Root that caused the flow, without change. And so the angels received at first — and therefore each one desired to take his [own proper] place. And there was no *kin'ah* (jealousy) between them — for they received from their Root without alteration, and each one desired only [what was] in his own Root.

וּכְשֶׁהִגִּיעַ לְמַטָּה — נַעֲשָׂה חֹשֶׁךְ אֶחָד, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ: *"יָשֶׁת חֹשֶׁךְ סִתְרוֹ"*. וּבְנֵי אָדָם לֹא קִבְּלוּ בְּלִי שִׁינּוּי, אֶלָּא בִּשְׁנוּי — עַל יְדֵי הַחֹשֶׁךְ הַזֶּה, וְלָכֵן לֹא הִכִּירוּ אֶת שָׁרְשָׁם. וּבֶאֱמֶת, שֶׁלְּכָל אֶחָד מַעֲלָה הָרָאוּי לוֹ, אֶלָּא שֶׁלֹּא הִכִּירוּ זֶה, וְלָכֵן כָּל אֶחָד הָיָה רוֹצֶה לַעֲלוֹת בְּמַעֲלָה שֶׁאֵינוֹ רָאוּי לוֹ. וְזֶה הָיָה הַקִּנְאָה, שֶׁלֹּא הִכִּירוּ מֵעַלְתָּם שֶׁהָיוּ בּוֹ, שֶׁזֶּה הוּא מַה שֶּׁמַּגִּיעַ לָהֶם, וְלֹא יוֹתֵר. וּלְכָךְ כַּמָּה מִלְחָמוֹת וְקִנְאוֹת וְשִׂנְאָה שֶׁהָיוּ בָּעוֹלָם.
And when it reached below — one darkness was made, of which is said: *"He made darkness His concealment"* [Tehillim 18:12]. And the sons of Adam did not receive without change, but with change — by way of this darkness, and therefore they did not recognize their Root. **And in truth, for each one there is a level that is fitting for him** — only they did not recognize this — and therefore each one desired to ascend in a level not fitting for him. **And this was the *kin'ah*** — that they did not recognize their own level that they were in — that this was what reached them, and no more. And for this, how many wars and jealousies and hatred have there been in the world.

§ 4. Kayin and Hevel — the Jealousy of Yaakov and Esav

וְהַקִּנְאָה הִתְחִיל מִיָּד בְּקַיִן וְהֶבֶל, כִּי נִתְקַנְּאוּ זֶה בָּזֶה, וְסוֹ"ז: *"וַיְהִי בִּהְיוֹתָם בַּשָּׂדֶה"*. כִּי הַמָּקוֹם הָעֶלְיוֹן שֶׁמְּקַבְּלִים מִשָּׁם בְּלִי שִׁינּוּי, נִקְרָא אֹהֶל; וּמְקוֹם הַתַּחְתּוֹן, מְקוֹם הַחֹשֶׁךְ, נִקְרָא שָׂדֶה. וְעַל כֵּן קַיִן וְהֶבֶל בִּהְיוֹתָם בַּשָּׂדֶה, אָז נִתְקַנְּאוּ זֶה בָּזֶה, וְהָרַג לְהֶבֶל. וְכֵן עֵשָׂו אִישׁ יוֹדֵעַ צַיִד, מְקוֹם הַצֵּידָה שֶׁצָּדִים זֶה אֶל זֶה — *"אִישׁ שָׂדֶה"*, וְהָיָה מִתְקַנֵּא בְּיַעֲקֹב עַל הַבְּרָכוֹת. אֲבָל יַעֲקֹב הָיָה מְקַבֵּל מִמְּקוֹם הָאֹהֶל, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ: *"וְיַעֲקֹב אִישׁ תָּם יֹשֵׁב אֹהָלִים"*, וְלָכֵן לֹא רָצָה, וְלֹא דָחַק אֶת עַצְמוֹ לְקַבֵּל הַבְּרָכוֹת, אֶלָּא בְּצִוּוּי אִמּוֹ רִבְקָה. וְעוֹד נֶאֱמַר בְּיַעֲקֹב: *"בָּא אָחִיךָ בְּמִרְמָה"*, וְאָמְרוּ — בְּחָכְמַת תּוֹרָתוֹ, כִּי בֶאֱמֶת יַעֲקֹב לֹא בָּא בְמִרְמָה, כִּי מִרְמָה אֵינָהּ אֶלָּא בַּשָּׂדֶה, וְלֹא בָּאֹהֶל, וְשָׁם הַכֹּל חָכְמָה. וְזֶהוּ: בְּחָכְמַת תּוֹרָתוֹ, שֶׁלְּפִי הָעֲקַשִּׁים הַיּוֹצְאִים לַחוּץ, כָּךְ צְרִיכִים הָאוֹרוֹת לְהִתְעַקֵּם. וְסוֹ"ז: *"עִם עִקֵּשׁ תִּתְפַּתָּל"*. וְעַל זֶה הָאֹהֶל נֶאֱמַר: *"מַה טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב"*. כִּי הַשֵּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ הַזֶּה **אֲהֹוָה** מְחַלֵּק הַחֲלָקִים וְהַמַּעֲלוֹת כָּרָאוּי, וְהוּא עוֹלֶה כְּמִנְיַן טֹ[וֹ]ר"ב, וְשָׁם הוּא מְקוֹם הָאֹהֶל. וְסוֹ"ז: *"מַה טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ"* וַדַּאי, שֶׁשָּׁם נִכָּר שֶׁהוּא מְחַלֵּק הַכֹּל כָּרָאוּי.
**The jealousy began immediately with Kayin and Hevel,** for they were jealous of one another. And the secret of this: *"And it came to pass, while they were in the field"* [Bereishis 4:8]. For the Supernal Place, from which they receive without change, is called *Ohel* (tent); and the lower place — the place of darkness — is called *Sadeh* (field). And therefore Kayin and Hevel, in their being in the field — they were jealous one of the other, and [Kayin] killed Hevel. And likewise, **Esav was "a man who knew hunting"** — a place of hunting, where they hunt one another — *"a man of the field"* [Bereishis 25:27], and he was jealous of Yaakov concerning the blessings. But **Yaakov was receiving from the place of the Ohel,** of whom is said: *"And Yaakov was a plain man, dwelling in tents"* [Bereishis 25:27], and therefore he did not desire, nor did he force himself to take the blessings — except by the command of his mother Rivkah. And further is said of Yaakov: *"Your brother came with cunning ( mirmah*)" [Bereishis 27:35], and they expounded: **"with the wisdom of his Torah"** — for in truth Yaakov did not come with cunning, for cunning belongs only to the field and not to the tent, and there [in the tent] all is wisdom. And this is "with the wisdom of his Torah" — that according to the crooked-ones who go out, so must the Lights become crooked. And the secret of this: *"with the perverse You deal tortuously"* [Tehillim 18:27]. And of this tent is said: *"How goodly are your tents, Yaakov"* [Bamidbar 24:5]. **For this Holy Name *AHVH* divides the portions and the levels appropriately — and it rises to the gematria of "*Tov*"** [[the printed text has טר"ב] — likely a print-damaged reading of טוב; *Tov* = ט(9)+ו(6)+ב(2) = 17 = AHVH (א+ה+ו+ה = 17) ✓] — and there is the place of the Ohel. And the secret of this: *"How goodly are your tents"*, certainly — for there it is recognized that He apportions all as is fitting.

§ 5. "*Akh tov le-Yisrael Elokim le-varei levav*"

וְעַל כֵּן מִי שֶׁמְּקַבֵּל מִשָּׁם, לֹא יִרְצֶה לַעֲלוֹת אֶל מָקוֹם שֶׁאֵינוֹ שֶׁלּוֹ. וְזֶה הַשֹּׁרֶשׁ צָרִיךְ שֶׁיִּתְגַּלֶּה בָּאַחֲרוֹנָה, כְּדֵי שֶׁיְּקַבְּלוּ כָּל בְּנֵי הָאָדָם מַעֲלָתָם כָּרָאוּי לְכָל אֶחָד, וְלֹא יִרְצוּ מַעֲלָה אַחֶרֶת. וְסוֹ"ז: *"וְסָרָה קִנְאַת אֶפְרַיִם"*. וְעַל סוֹד זֶה נֶאֱמַר: *"אַךְ טוֹב לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אֱלֹקִים לְבָרֵי לֵבָב"*, כִּי מִי שֶׁמְּבֹרָר לִבְרֵי לְבַב, כָּךְ הָאוֹר מַגִּיעַ אֵלָיו בְּבֵרוּר, וְאֵינוֹ מִתְעָרֵב בְּתוֹךְ הַחֹשֶׁךְ. וְלָכֵן אֵין קִנְאָה בְּלִבּוֹ, כֵּיוָן שֶׁמְּקַבֵּל מַעֲלָתוֹ לְפִי שָׁרְשׁוֹ, וְזֶה טוֹב מִצַּד הַשֵּׁם הַזֶּה. *"אַךְ טוֹב לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אֱלֹקִים לְבָרֵי לֵבָב"* — כִּי לְבָרֵי לֵבָב, מַגִּיעַ שָׁם הַטּוֹב הַזֶּה.
And therefore one who receives from there shall not desire to ascend to a place that is not his. And this Root must be revealed at the end, so that all the sons of Adam shall receive their level as is fitting for each one, and they shall not desire another level. And the secret of this: *"And the jealousy of Efrayim shall depart"* [Yeshayahu 11:13]. And upon this secret is said: *"Surely Elokim is good to Yisrael, to the pure of heart"* [Tehillim 73:1], for whoever is purified as *bar levav* (of pure heart) — thus the Light reaches him in clarity, and does not intermingle within the darkness. And therefore there is no *kin'ah* in his heart, since he receives his level according to his Root — and this is *tov* from the side of this Name. *"Surely Elokim is good to Yisrael, to the pure of heart"* — for to the pure of heart, this *tov* reaches.

§ 6. The Angels as "*Giborei Koach*" — the Weakness of the Age

וְעַד עַתָּה לֹא נִתְחַזְּקוּ הַמְּאוֹרוֹת עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְהַהַשְׁפָּעָה נִשְׁאֲרָה בַּחֲלוּשָׁה גְדוֹלָה. כִּי בַזְּמַן שֶׁהַמְקַבְּלִים מַכִּירִים אֶת הַשֹּׁרֶשׁ — הַשֹּׁרֶשׁ מֵאִיר עֲלֵיהֶם בְּתֹקֶף גָּדוֹל, וְאָז נִתְגָּאָה הַמָּקוֹר עַל ... וְנִתְחַזֵּק וְנִקְשָׁר בּוֹ, וּמַשְׁפִּיעַ אֵלָיו בְּכֹחַ גָּדוֹל. וְעַל כֵּן הַמַּלְאָכִים נִקְרָאִים *"גִּבֹּרֵי כֹחַ"*, לְפִי שֶׁמַּכִּירִים אֶת שָׁרְשָׁם, וְזֶהוּ: *"לִשְׁמֹעַ בְּקוֹל דְּבָרוֹ"*. מַה שֶּׁאֵין כֵּן הַתַּחְתּוֹנִים, שֶׁאֵין זֶה הַקּוֹל מַגִּיעַ אֲלֵיהֶם מִפְּנֵי הַחֹשֶׁךְ שֶׁמַּפְסִיק. וְאִם גַּם הֵם הָיוּ נוֹתְנִים עֹז הַזֶּה לִקְדֻשָּׁה, הָיָה מִתְגָּאֶה אֲלֵיהֶם, וּמַחֲזִיק אוֹתָם בְּשֶׁפַע גָּדוֹל. וְעַל זֶה נֶאֱמַר: *"תְּנוּ עֹז לֵאלֹקִים עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל גַּאֲוָתוֹ"* — כְּשֶׁנּוֹתְנִים עֹז, אָז ... הַגֵּאוּת עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל. אַךְ לְפִי שֶׁלֹּא שָׁבוּ הַמְקַבְּלִים אֶל הַשֹּׁרֶשׁ — נִשְׁאַר חָלָשׁ, וְלֹא הָיָה יָכוֹל לְהָכִין מַעֲשָׂיו לָעוֹלָם, אֶלָּא הָיָה בָּנוּי וְאַחַר כָּךְ נִמְשָׁךְ חֶרֶב, בָּנוּי ... [וְחָרַב].
**And until now, the luminaries have not strengthened upon Yisrael, and the influx has remained in a great weakness.** For at the time when the receivers recognize the Root, the Root illuminates upon them with great force — and then the Source is exalted over ... and is strengthened and bound with it, and flows upon him with great power. And therefore the angels are called ***"giborei koach"* (mighty in strength)** — because they recognize their Root — and this is: *"to hearken to the voice of His word"* [Tehillim 103:20]. Not so the Lower Ones — for this Voice does not reach them because of the darkness that interrupts. And if they too were giving this *oz* (strength) to the Holiness, then [the Holiness] would be exalted upon them, and would uphold them with great abundance. And of this is said: *"Give strength to Elokim — over Yisrael is His pride"* [Tehillim 68:35] — when they give *oz*, then ... the pride [rests] upon Yisrael. But because the receivers did not return to the Root — [the revelation] remained weak, and [Hashem] could not establish His deeds in the world — rather, there was built, and afterwards the sword was drawn — built ... [and destroyed].

And when this darkness shall pass, then the sons of Adam shall recognize their levels — whence each one draws his level as is fitting for him — and all shall cleave: **the Root and the branches**. And this Holy Name shall rule. And then it shall be said: *"Hashem reigns, clothed with pride"*. And [the world] shall be **built — built after the destruction** — that there shall be no destruction at all after it.

**At the time when the Holy Name *AHVH* divides the lights of YKVK blessed-be-He, there is revealed one great power drawn down from the Glory — and it is called *Hadar Malchus* (Glory of Kingship).** And it receives these lights from Him, and divides them to all the hosts. And even the powers of the *chol* (profane) receive from this — **they recognize Him as King**, and of this is said: *"The ox knows its owner"* [Yeshayahu 1:3]. And of this *Malchus* is said: *"In the multitude of the people is the King's Glory ( hadaras melech*)" [Mishlei 14:28]. And why is His Name called *Hadar*? — only because He is *Hod* (Splendor), one of the splendors sparkling forth from the Glory, at the hour that the hosts accepted Him as King over them.

וּמִכֹּחַ הַהוֹד הַזֶּה קִבְּלוּ כָּל הַמְקוֹרוֹת כֻּלָּם חוֹזֶק לְהַשְׁפִּיעַ בָּרְוָחָה, וְעַל כֵּן: *"בְּרָב עָם הַדְרַת מֶלֶךְ"* — שֶׁהַהַדָר נִמְשָׁךְ מִן הָעָם. וּלְפִי שֶׁזֶּה לֹא נִתָּקַן מִן בְּנֵי אָדָם, עַל כֵּן לֹא קִבְּלוּ מִמֶּנּוּ אֶלָּא מְעַט עַד הֵנָּה. וְלֶעָתִיד לָבוֹא נֶאֱמַר: *"יִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לה' בְּהַדְרַת קֹדֶשׁ בִּירוּשָׁלַיִם"*, שֶׁאָז יִתְגַּלֶּה הַדַר הַזֶּה. כִּי בְּהִשְׁתַּחֲווֹת הַצְּבָאוֹת לִפְנֵי הַכָּבוֹד — יוֹצֵא הַהַדָר הַזֶּה, הַכֹּל בְּרִבּוּי וּבָרְוָחָה. וְכָךְ יִהְיֶה לֶעָ"ל: *"ה' מֶלֶךְ גֵּאוּת לָבֵשׁ"*.
And from the power of this *Hod*, all the Sources received strength to flow in abundance. Therefore: *"In the multitude of the people is the King's Glory"* — for the *Hadar* is drawn from the people. And since this was not rectified by the sons of Adam, therefore they received from Him only a little up until now. And for the time-to-come is said: *"they shall bow down to Hashem in the adornment of holiness in Yerushalayim"* [paraphrase of Tehillim 29:2 / 96:9 with "in Yerushalayim" added] — that then this *Hadar* shall be revealed. For in the bowing-down of the Hosts before the Glory — this *Hadar* goes forth, all in multiplicity and in abundance. And thus it shall be in the time-to-come: *"Hashem reigns, clothed with pride"*.

**And if you should say: how can it be that darkness comes forth from the Light?** — Rather: the Holy Name YKVK blessed-be-He, in its reaching with all its lights unto this Refiner ***AHVH***, is included there within. This Name becomes for him like a wall around, and this Wall is drawn with strong *gevurah*. **And this is called *Nirteka shel Chammah* (the Sheath of the Sun)** — for the Name blessed-be-He is *Chammah* (the Sun), of whom is said: *"and nothing is hidden from its chammah*" [Tehillim 19:7 — with a play on *chammah*=sun and *chammaso*=heat]. But this sheath stands around Him, and therefore His lights cannot reach below. But immediately the Name *AHVH* ruled, and it brought forth the branches of YKVK blessed-be-He — they reached to the place they reached: a place where the Wall could not weaken their power. But at the end of most of the rungs, its strength is exhausted, and then darkness is drawn. And the secret of this: *"He made darkness His concealment, [darkness] round about Him"* [Tehillim 18:12].

§ 10. Amalek — the One Who Feeds on the Sheath

[הַגּוֹרֶם] שִׁכְחַת הַתּוֹרָה מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל, וְעַל כֵּן נֶאֱמַר בּוֹ: *"מָחֹה תִמְחֶה"*, בְּסוֹד הַחוֹמָה הַזֹּאת שֶׁעֲתִידָה לִשְׁלֹט, כְּשֶׁהַקָּבָ"ה יוֹצִיא חַמָּה מִנַּרְתְּקָהּ, לְהַעֲבִיר כָּל חֹשֶׁךְ מִן הָעוֹלָם. וְיֹאמַר יִשְׂרָאֵל: *"וְאֹהֲבָיו כְּצֵאת הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ"*. וּבְסוֹף הַכֹּל יָרַד כֹּחַ גָּדוֹל מִלְמַעְלָה, וְיִבְקַע הַחוֹמָה הַזֹּאת, וְיַעֲשֶׂה פֶּתַח קָטָן בִּתְחִלָּה. וְאָז יוֹדֵעַ הַחֲסִידוּת בָּעוֹלָם, שֶׁיַּכִּירוּ בְּנֵי אָדָם מַעֲלָתָם, וְלֹא יִרְצוּ יוֹתֵר מִזֶּה. וְאַחַר כָּךְ יִתְרַחֵב תָּמִיד יוֹתֵר, עַד שֶׁיַּעֲמוֹד בָּרֹחַב גָּדוֹל. וְאָז: *"וְזָרְחָה לָכֶם יִרְאֵי"* וְכוּ'. כִּי אָז יִהְיֶה הוֹצָאַת חַמָּה מִנַּרְתְּקָהּ לְגַמְרֵי. וְהַהֲדַר מַלְכוּת מִתְחַזֵּק לִשְׁלֹט בָּעוֹלָם, וְסוֹ"ז: *"וְהוּכַן בְּחֶסֶד כִּסְאוֹ"*, הוּא הַכִּסֵּא שֶׁלֹּא נִשְׁלַם בִּזְמַן שֶׁשָּׁלַט עֲמָלֵק. וְאָז יִשְׁתַּלֵּם, וְזֶהוּ הַמ' ... שֶׁל שֵׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ **מַצְפַּ"ץ** הָעוֹמֵד בָּזֹאת הַפָּנָה, סוֹד מַלְכוּת. *"ה' מֶלֶךְ גֵּאוּת לָבֵשׁ"*, וְאָז *"נָכוֹן כִּסְאֲךָ"* וַדַּאי, הַכִּסֵּא שֶׁאָמַרְנוּ.
**Come and see: Amalek the wicked — all his power comes from this Wall**, and she is ... [the cause of] the forgetting of Torah from Yisrael. And therefore is said of him: *"you shall utterly blot out"* [Devarim 25:19], in the secret of this Wall [of *AHVH*] that is destined to rule — when the Holy-One-Blessed-be-He shall bring forth the Sun from its sheath, to remove all darkness from the world. And Yisrael shall say: *"And His lovers [shall be] as the going-forth of the Sun"* [Shoftim 5:31]. And at the end of all, a great power shall descend from above, and shall **break through this Wall (*yivka*)**, and shall make a small opening at first. And then *chasidus* is known in the world — that the sons of Adam shall recognize their level, and shall not desire more than this. And afterwards it shall continue to expand more and more, until it stands in great breadth. And then: *"And there shall rise for you who fear"* and so forth [Malachi 3:20]. For then shall be the bringing-forth of the Sun from its sheath completely. And the *Hadar Malchus* strengthens to rule in the world — and the secret of this: *"and His throne is established in chesed*" [Yeshayahu 16:5] — it is the Throne that was not completed at the time that Amalek ruled. And then it shall be completed — and this is the מ' ... of the Holy Name ***MaTZPa"TZ*** that stands at this Corner, the secret of *Malchus*. *"Hashem reigns, clothed with pride"*, and then — *"Your throne is established"* [Tehillim 93:2], certainly — the Throne that we spoke of.

בְּאוֹתוֹ הַזְּמַן מִתְחַבְּרִים ב' שֵׁמוֹת בְּיַחַד **יְקֹו"ק אֲהֹוָה**, וְסוֹדוֹ ג"ם — מ"ג: *"גַּם ה' יִתֵּן הַטּוֹב"* — שֵׁם **אֲהֹוָה**, שֶׁהוּא הַטּוֹב, יִתְחַבֵּר בִּיקָ"ק, וְיַעֲשֶׂה ג"ם: *"גַּם ה' יִתֵּן הַטּוֹב"*. *"וְאַרְצֵנוּ תִּתֵּן יְבוּלָהּ"*, כִּי אָז: *"וְזָרְחָה לָכֶם"* וְכוּ'.
At that time the two Names unite together — **YKVK-AHVH** — and their secret is *Ga"m — M"g*: *"Gam Hashem yitten ha-Tov"* ("**Also** Hashem gives the Good") [Tehillim 85:13] — the Name ***AHVH***, which is *ha-Tov*, joins with YKVK and produces *Ga"m* [[גם] = 3+40 = 43 = 26 (YKVK) + 17 (AHVH)]: *"Also Hashem gives the Good"*. *"And our land shall give its produce"* — for then: *"and there shall rise for you"*, and so forth.

ג' אוֹרוֹת גְּדוֹלִים יִהְיוּ נִפְתָּחִים בִּזְמַן שֶׁיִּפָּתַח הַחוֹמָה הַזֹּאת, וְסוֹדָם שַׁעֲרֵי צֶ[דֶ]ק — ג' **אֲדֹנָ"י**. וּכְשֶׁיַּעֲבוֹר הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ בָּהֶם, יְקַבֵּל גְּבוּרָה חֲזָקָה לְהַשְׁמִיד כָּל הַגּוֹיִם, **שֹׁכְחֵי אֱלֹקִים**, וְסוֹ"ז: *"כְּצֵאת הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ בִּגְבוּרָתוֹ"*.
**Three great Lights shall be opened at the time that this Wall is opened, and their secret: the Gates of Tzede[k] — the three [letters] of *Adna"i*** [[אדנ"י]; three, since the fourth letter *yud* is the "head" or is counted separately]. And when the Sun passes through them, it shall receive mighty *gevurah* to destroy all the nations — **the forgetters of Elokim (*shochechei Elokim*)** [Tehillim 9:18 — "*yashuvu resha'im li-she'olah, kol goyim shekhechei Elokim*"]. And the secret of this: *"as the going-forth of the Sun in its might"* [Shoftim 5:31].

**The letter *Heh* shall descend upon [the Sun] from above to sweeten [it],** and she is comprised of all kinds of joy, and she [is the one who goes] to Yisrael alone. And the secret of this: *"truth shall sprout from the earth"* [Tehillim 85:12], for this shall be with the revelation of the מ' ...

The מ' ... for this needs to be brought up from the earth through the pious of the sons of Adam (*chasidei bnei adam*). And then immediately the Gates of Tzedek are opened, and this is: *"righteousness looks down from heaven"* [Tehillim 85:12]; and the two Names unite — YKVK-A[KVK] [[אקו"ק] = Name *AHVH* with *Kof*-substitution for reverent writing] — and the meaning is: *"Also Hashem gives the Good"*. **And there is ...** **one further *Heh***, whose secret is: the *Heh* that descends from above — comprised of all kinds of lights — so that the world should not burn from the heat of the Sun coming out of the sheath in the strength of its might. And this is: *"and our land shall give its produce"* — what is *Tzedek* shall perform *Tzedakah*. And the secret of this: *"and the Sun of Righteousness ( Shemesh Tzedakah*) shall rise for you" , and so forth — and this is the letter צ of the Name of this Corner — *Tzedakah*, certainly.

**And at that time the Name blessed-be-He shall stand outside, and with its four letters shall blaze for every *Tzaddik* — until they [all] recognize in truth their Maker.** And how many wicked ones [shall] burn in the great flame, as is said: *"and the coming day shall burn them"* [Malachi 3:19]. And they shall become ashes, as is said: *"and you shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes"* [Malachi 3:21].

**Five letters stand to blaze out to the four wings of the earth**, and the secret of this: *"to take hold of the wings of the earth, that the wicked may be shaken off"* and so forth [Iyov 38:13]. And they are the five [final] letters ***MaNaTZPe'Kh*** [[מנצפ"ך] — the 5 letters with final forms: ם, ן, ץ, ף, ך], of which is said: *"From the wing of the earth... Tzvi la-Tzadik"* [Yeshayahu 24:16] — the letters of *MaNaTZPe'Kha* [are hidden within]. And the secret of this: *ba-avod resha'im rinah* (at the perishing of the wicked is exulting [Mishlei 11:10]), therefore: *"songs we have heard"*.

Four letters ... at the four edges, and one letter stands in the center. These at the four edges shall remove the four kingdoms; and the middle letter shall burn the two impure houses that are in Yerushalayim the holy city, and to purify their place — and then all the blessing shall stand upon Har Tziyon. These four letters of the edges shall join afterwards to the middle letter, [and] from them shall be made the Fire of the Glory upon Har Tziyon. And her secret: *"a wall of fire around"* [Zecharyah 2:9].

**Within that Fire shall be the entire Built House — the Beis HaMikdash of Above — it shall descend at that time below, and all the chapters of the Merkavah are joined in it.** At the hour of the sacrifice that shall be offered in the Beis HaMikdash, all the portions of the Holy House shall be seen illuminating one in another, and they ascend up to the Throne on high. And all the Holy *Chayos* shall stand in their song, and they shall ascend and be joined (the Glory) [with the Glory] Supernal.

**The Name *E-KI-K*** [[אקי"ק] — the Name *Ehyeh* (אהיה) written with *Kof*-substitution] **shall be crowned upon [Har Tziyon]** — it is the Name of the Holy Reality, in which is: *"Akh tov le-Yisrael"* ("Surely He is good to Yisrael") [Tehillim 73:1] — from which spread the two Merkavas, the Upper Merkavah and the Lower. This Name *E-KI-K* blessed-be-He shall spread below, and shall be crowned upon Har Tziyon. And the Fire of which we spoke shall blaze the wicked to make them ashes (*eifer*) — and the secret of this: *"for they shall be ashes"* [Malachi 3:21] — **the א of *E-KI-K*, [and] the פָּ"ר (*Pa"r*) of *MaNaTZPa"Kh*** [[the word *eifer* (אפר]) encodes the union: the *Alef* is drawn from the Name *E-KI-K*, and the letters *Peh-Reish* stand in for the blazing final-letters of *MaNaTZPa"Kh*].

**And then it shall be said: *"Tzvi la-Tzadik"* (Beauty to the Righteous-One).** For thus are gathered all four letters from *Kenaf* to צ, and *MaNaTZPa"Kh* illuminates to make *Pe'er*. And this *Tzvi* shall give power to Eretz Yisrael, that all the luminaries shall flow into her with delight (*chamidah*) in abundance. And it shall be said of Yisrael: *"And your people — all of them are righteous"* [Yeshayahu 60:21] — in the letter צ, and this is *Tzvi*, certainly. Then *Shalom* shall rule — for already has all *kin'ah* passed, and **each one shall desire in his own Root**, and shall not request more — only according to his [appointed] rectification. And *chasidus* shall overpower in all hearts, and the longing shall spread forth. And then it shall be built without a destruction after it: *" Olam chesed yibaneh*" ("a world of *chesed* shall be built") [Tehillim 89:3] — with the *chasidus* that shall spread. *"Yea, the world shall be firm, it shall not be shaken"*, and the Holy Merkavah is set in her order — all according to the matter of *Shalom*, in right manner, as is fitting.

**Come and see: the Supernal Merkavah revolves on three joints (*perakim*), and stands in the four [letters of] YHV' [Hashem]** — [the Name] standing for all the journeys and all the goings. In totality: **Chayos, Throne (Kisei), Ru'ach, Rakia**. **The *Chayos* are the secret of the letter י of the Holy Name** — and therefore their totality is Ten Sefiros. And the likeness of Adam — behold it is spoken in the secret of this *Heh-Yud*.

**ה** — כִּסֵּא עוֹמֵד עַל גְּבִיהָה לְנַשֵּׂא אוֹתָם, וְהוּא אוֹת ה' וַדַּאי. **ו** — רָקִיעַ שֶׁעַל רָאשָׁם, וּבְסִבּוּבוֹ מִתְמַלְּאִים רוּחַ, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר: *"אֶל אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה שָׁם הָרוּחַ לָלֶכֶת"*, כְּשֶׁהַמְאוֹרוֹת מִתְחַלְּקִים לְמַטָּה, וְהַמְקַבְּלִים מְקַבְּלִים אוֹתָן וּמַכִּירִים אֶת קוֹנָם, מִתְגַּלֶּה כֹּחַ אֶחָד הַמֵּכִין כָּל הַמֶּרְכָּבָה, וּמַעֲמִידָהּ עַל בּוּרְיָהּ, זֹאת הִיא הֵ' אַחֲרוֹנָה, בָּהּ נֶאֱמַר: *"וְהָאָרֶץ לְעוֹלָם עוֹמָדֶת"*. וּבִיהו' — *"דּוֹר הֹלֵךְ וְדוֹר בָּא"*, וּבְזֹאת הֵ' אַחֲרוֹנָה נֶאֱמַר: *"אַף תִּכּוֹן תֵּבֵל בַּל תִּמּוֹט"*. אֲבָל לֹא נִתְחַזְּקָה עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה בָּעוֹלָם, וְלֹא עָמַד שׁוּם דּוֹר עַל מְכוּנוֹ. בְּסוֹף הַכֹּל: תִּשְׁלֹט זֹאת הֵה', וְהִיא נֶפֶשׁ דָּוִד הַתָּלוּי בַּחֲסִידוּת, סוֹ"ז: *"לְדָוִד שָׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי כִּי חָסִיד אָנִי"*, כִּי הוּא הִכִּיר אֶת קוֹנוֹ, וְכַמָּה פְעָמִים שֶׁהָיָה שָׁאוּל בְּיָדוֹ לְהָרְגוֹ, וְלֹא רָצָה, כִּי הָיָה מַכִּיר כִּי עֲדַיִן הַמַּעֲלָה הַזֹּאת אֵינוֹ מַגִּיעַ לוֹ.
**ה (Heh)** — the Throne stands on height to elevate them, and this is the letter ה, certainly. **ו (Vav)** — the Firmament (Rakia) that is upon their heads; and in its spinning they are filled with Ru'ach (spirit), as is said: *"wherever the Ru'ach is to go, they go"* [Yechezkel 1:12]. When the luminaries are divided below, and the receivers receive them and recognize their Maker, there is revealed one power that establishes the entire Merkavah and stands her upon her foundation — **this is the final *Heh***, of which is said: *"and the earth stands forever"* [Koheles 1:4]. And in [the letters] YHV' — *"generation goes and generation comes"*; and in this final *Heh* is said: *"Yea, the world shall be firm, it shall not be shaken"* [Tehillim 93:1]. But she has not been strengthened up until this day in the world, and no generation has stood upon its base. At the end of all: **this *Heh* shall rule — and she is the *Nefesh* of David, which hangs on *chasidus***. The secret of this: *"Of David: guard my soul, for I am a chasid*" [Tehillim 86:2] — for he recognized his Maker, and how many times was Shaul in his hand to kill — and he did not desire [to], for he recognized that this level had not yet reached him.

בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁזֹּאת הַנֶּפֶשׁ תִּשְׁלֹט בָּעוֹלָם, וְלֹא יִפְנוּ כִּי אִם אֶל הַמֵּטִיב לָהֶם, בְּאוֹתוֹ הַזְּמַן: *"נֶפֶשׁ כִּי תַקְרִיב קָרְבַּן מִנְחָה"* — נֶפֶשׁ דָּוִד, זוֹ הִיא מִנְחָה, סֹלֶת וַדַּאי, בַּבְּרִירוּת וּבַנִּקָּיוֹן, כִּי אָז יְקַבְּלוּ בִּבְרִירוּת, וְלֹא מִן הַחֹשֶׁךְ, שֶׁכְּבָר נִתְבָּרֵר הָאוֹר מִן הַחֹשֶׁךְ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַרְתִּי. וְאָז כִּי יִהְיֶה זְמַן שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ: *"דִּשַּׁנְתָּ בַשֶּׁמֶן רֹאשִׁי כּוֹסִי רְוָיָה"*, כִּי תִּמָּשַׁח בְּמִשְׁחָה זֹאת הַנֶּפֶשׁ, הִיא מָשִׁיחַ ה', לְהַמְשִׁיךְ כָּל הָאוֹרוֹת בָּרְוָחָה. וְלָכֵן נִקְרָא מָשִׁיחַ, כִּי אֵלָיו נִקְרָא וְעוֹמֵד כָּל הַשֶּׁפַע הָעֶלְיוֹן. לְפִיכָךְ: *"וְיָצַק עָלֶיהָ שֶׁמֶן"*.
**At the hour when this *Nefesh* shall rule in the world, and they shall not turn except to the One who benefits them, at that time:** *"And a Nefesh*, when it offers an offering *Minchah*" [Vayikra 2:1] — **the *Nefesh* of David** — this is the *Minchah*, *soles* certainly, in purity and cleanness. For then they shall receive in clarity, and not from the darkness, for already the Light has been refined from the darkness, as I said. And then shall be the time of which is said: *"You have anointed my head with oil, my cup overflows"* [Tehillim 23:5] — for this *Nefesh* shall be anointed with anointing oil; **she is *Mashiach Hashem***, drawing forth all the Lights in abundance. And therefore he is called *Mashiach* — for unto him is summoned, and there stands, all the Supernal Flow. Therefore: *"and he shall pour upon her oil"* [Vayikra 2:1].

וּכְמוֹ שֶׁהָאוֹר לְמַטָּה יִתְבָּרֵר, כָּךְ יִתְבָּרֵר בַּשֹּׁרֶשׁ הָעֶלְיוֹן מַלְכוּת שָׁמַיִם, וְסוֹדָהּ: "לְבוֹנָה", סוֹ"ז: *"אִתִּי מִלְּבָנוֹן כַּלָּה"*. זֶה מוֹדִיעַ שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה גַּם כֵּן יִמָּצֵא חִדּוּשׁ מְצִיאוּת, וְהוּא שָׂכָר לִפְעֻלַּת צַדִּיקִים בָּעָה"ז. זֶה נוֹדָע שֶׁהַמַּלְכוּת עֲלֵיוֹנָה לֹא הַשְּׁלֵמוֹת בִּירוּרָהּ, עַד שֶׁיַּשְׁלִימוּ בְּנֵי אָדָם לְמַטָּה. עַל כֵּן אָז יַשְׁלִימוּם לְמַטָּה, וְגַם לְמַעְלָה: *"וְנָתַן עָלֶיהָ לְבֹנָה"*, וְזֶה סוֹף הַבְּרִיאָה וַדַּאי. תְּחִלָּה בִּימֵי בְרֵאשִׁית, וְנִשְׁלְמָה לִימוֹת הַמָּשִׁיחַ, וְסוֹ"ז: *"וְעָרְבָה לה' מִנְחַת יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלָיִם כִּימֵי עוֹלָם"*, שֶׁהֵם הַיָּמִים הָרִאשׁוֹנִים שֶׁבָּהֶם נִבְרְאָה הָעוֹלָם, וְהֵם נִשְׁלָמִים עַתָּה.
**And just as the Light below shall be refined, so shall be refined in the Supernal Root — *Malchus Shamayim*** — and her secret: "*Levonah*". The secret of this: *"With Me from Levanon, O bride!"* [Shir HaShirim 4:8]. This informs us that above, too, there shall be found a renewal of reality — and this is the reward for the deeds of the Tzadikim in this world. This is known — that the Supernal *Malchus*'s refinement is not completed, until the sons of Adam complete [theirs] below. Therefore then they shall complete them below, and also above: *"and he shall place upon her Levonah*" [Vayikra 2:1] — and this is the end of Creation, certainly. At first in the days of Bereishis, and she was completed for the days of the Mashiach. And the secret of this: *"Then shall the Minchah* of Yehuda and Yerushalayim be pleasing to Hashem as in the days of old" [Malachi 3:4] — which are the first days in which the world was created — and they are completed now.

כָּאן סוֹד גָּדוֹל, מַלְכוּת וַדַּאי קֶשֶׁר כָּל הָעוֹלָמוֹת וְהַפַּרְצוּפִים — **כֶּתֶר מַלְכוּת**, מַה שֶּׁנֶּעֱשָׂה בַּסּוֹף — נַעֲשָׂה בָּרֹאשׁ. בְּהִתְבָּרֵר הַמַּלְכוּת לְמַטָּה, יִתְגַּלֶּה אוֹר אַ"א [=אֲרִיךְ אַנְפִּין] שֶׁלֹּא הָיָה יָכוֹל לְהִתְגַּלּוֹת, כִּי אַעַפָּ"כ צָרִיךְ לְתִקּוּן הַתַּחְתּוֹנִים, אַךְ כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּתְגַּלֶּה צָרִיךְ זַכּוּתָם וַדַּאי. וְסוֹ"ז: *"וְהֵבִיאָהּ אֶל בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֲנִים"* — הֵם הַיּוֹצְאִים מֵאַבָּא עִלָּאָה, מֵהֶם אוֹרוֹת שֶׁבָּהֶם: *"ה' בְּחָכְמָה יָסַד אָרֶץ"*. וּבְהִתְבָּרֵר הַמַּלְכוּת, מַגִּיעַ תִּקּוּן אֶל אַבָּא, וְהַיְינוּ חָכְמָה עִלָּאָה וְחָכְמָה תַּתָּאָה, וְהוּא ...
**Here is a great secret: *Malchus*, certainly, is the binding of all the worlds and the *partzufim* — *Keter Malchus* — what is made at the end becomes the head.** In the refining of *Malchus* below, there shall be revealed the Light of *A"A* [= *Arich Anpin*] that could not be revealed — for, nevertheless, it requires the rectification of the lower ones; only, in order that it be revealed, their merit is certainly required. And the secret of this: *"and he shall bring her to the sons of Aharon, the Kohanim"* [Vayikra 2:2] — these are those who issue from *Abba Ila'ah* (Supernal Father), from whom come the lights in which is: *"Hashem with wisdom founded the earth"* [Mishlei 3:19]. And in the refining of *Malchus*, the rectification reaches *Abba* — and this is *Chochmah Ila'ah* and *Chochmah Tata'ah* (Supernal and Lower Wisdom), and he [... continues into p. 328].
