§ 66. Opening — The Twelve Boundaries of the Tree of Good
**Master of all the worlds — King of kings of kings, the Holy One blessed is He — the One unique in the wonders of Your lights, exalted in Your awesomenesses** [[בְּמוֹרָאֶיךָ] — plural "awesomenesses," per the source] **in the sanctuaries of Your holiness, sought out by all who seek You — in the twelve boundaries of the Tree of Good** (*yud-beis techumei etz tov*) — the fruit of Your righteousness. And Ruler over every creation in majesty. Your kingdom is a kingdom of all worlds, and Your rulership is unto every generation. **G-d of knowings, exalted-above, Unique, majestic in the Holy.** And I, in the abundance of Your *chesed*, shall come into Your house — I shall prostrate unto the Sanctuary of Your holiness **in awe of You** [[בְּיִרְאָתָךְ] — echoing Tehillim 5:8: *"ve-ani be-rov chasdekha avo veisekha eshtachaveh el heikhal kodshekha be-yirasekha"* ("And I, in the abundance of Your chesed, shall come to Your house; I shall prostrate unto the Sanctuary of Your holiness in awe of You")] **— which You built as a Sanctuary for Your Name upon the mountain of Tzion where You dwelled — there You showed the mighty-acts of Your holiness, Your way and Your walking, the praise of the exaltedness of Your Oneness. There is none like You and none comparable to You.**

**And upon the Foundation Stone (*Even HaShesiyah*) from which You founded the world in the abundance of Your majesty** [the *Even HaShesiyah* — the rock in the Holy of Holies from which, according to Mishnah Yoma 5:2, the world was founded] **— Seer of the hidden, Gazer at futures from of old, there is no unique like Your uniqueness.** **Former of the Ru'ach of Adam within him** [Zechariah 12:1] — **the might of Your splendor is life for every living thing — the courage of Your splendor makes G-ds (*elim*) and lightnings exult. For Your mission are ready the wings of Ru'ach; they seek Your holiness with the voice of their thundering — selah. They pour forth Your splendor. They tell the way of consuming fire.** Your goodness and Your force the mighty-ones recount — Maker of all alone — searcher of every heart — from Your soul-breath (*mi-nishmasecha*) enemies shall perish.

**Who can tell the splendor of Your praise in the *Reki'ei Nogah* (firmaments of brightness) which You spread upon the face of the earth — and Your authority You placed in the earth.** Unto You I give thanks and sing in the unity of Your Name — **Splendid of splendids**, **Splendid and Awesome**, ***ADIRIRON*** [[אַדִּירִירוֹן] — a *Heichalos*-style amplified Divine Name, built on the stem *Adir* ("splendid") with intensifying suffix *-IRON*. The source prints this as a single continuous word without gershayim, supporting a reading as an angelic Name-title. Without vowel-points in the source one could also read *Adiri-Run* with shuruk, but the continuous Heichalos-style "-iron" form is most consistent with the tradition] **— honored in the majesty of His beauty.** For I have drawn near my cry before You, Hashem, and my prayer in love hear — ***YHVH E-lohei Yisrael*, G-d of Yisrael our Father — the splendor of Your knowledge shall the *Derekh* praise — and unto You, the faithful of Your love shall give majesty and together precious-splendor of Holiness — to praise and glorify in Your remembrance, *YHVH Adonai*.** **Master-Rock of all the worlds, blessed be Your Name, and exalted is Your remembrance forever and unto worlds of worlds.**

אַתָּה אֲדֹנָי אֲדוֹן כָּל הַמַּעֲשִׂים, שׁוֹלֵט בְּתָקְפּוֹ עַל כָּל רָמִים וַעֲצוּמִים, מַחֲרִיד בְּאֵימַת גָּאוֹן וְרוּם מֶמְשָׁלָה. לְפָנֶיךָ יִכְרְעוּן וְיִפְּלוּ כָּל אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתָ לִכְבוֹדָךְ, וּבְשִׁמְךָ יְהַלְּלוּ, לְפָנֶיךָ יָנ[וּ]דוּ, וּמִלְּפָנֶיךָ יֶחֶרְדוּן וְיִשְׁפִּילוּ גְאוֹנָם כָּל מַלְאֲכֵי רַעַשׁ וְחֵימָה.
**You, my Lord, are Master of all the deeds — ruling in Your force over all the high and mighty — making tremble with the dread of majesty and the height of rulership.** Before You shall kneel and fall all that You made for Your honor, and in Your Name they praise; before You they sway, and from before You they tremble, and lower their pride — all the angels of commotion and fury.

**Splendid is Your Name — majestic in holiness — G-d venerated, wondrously acting in the splendor of His holiness.** **Who shall be lofty before You? And who shall rise up against Your kingdom that rules in all**, as it is said: *"And His kingdom rules in all"* [Tehillim 103:19]. **High above the high, proud above the proud, lowly to the lowly — and His eyes are on all the humble of the earth.** **Prisoners in truth-bonds, captives enclosed in a narrow seal — unto You they shall groan from the depths of darkness — and from the voiced-words of dread and fear — in Your Name they shall be remembered, Omnipotent One.** **Redeemer of the seed of His holy-ones, Sitter-on-High, Redeemer of the humble — for the sake of His Name — Opener of the prison, Rememberer of the covenant, Near to all who call Him, G-d — in Your Name is greatness — Your right-hand shall lower oppressors, Knower of all hidden-things, Searcher of every heart — Unique — before You is the lifted-up and the lowered.** ***"G-d of vengeance, Hashem — G-d of vengeance — appear!"*** [Tehillim 94:1]. ***"The lifted-up, Judge of the earth — return recompense upon the proud"*** [Tehillim 94:2].

**Your Name is holy — Your kingdom is forever and ever — and upon Tzion, the mountain of Your holinesses, exalted is Your Name, Master of all wonders.** ***"And Hashem is in His holy Sanctuary — hush before Him all the earth"*** [Chavakuk 2:20]. **Before You tremble *Ofanim* and *Erelim*, filled from Your dread, shaking and shuddering from the splendor of Your beauty — singing in joy, and in Your Oneness exulting.** **King, G-d Living, Rock of all the worlds, Holy in the chambers of *Nogah*, Pure in the garment of Your light — the covering of Your beauty is the splendor of His life — holiness, purity, and blessing.** The prayer of Your people before You shall be pleasing like incense; receive for favor — *"And I — my prayer is unto You, Hashem, at a time of favor..."* [Tehillim 69:14].

וּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר צֵירוּפֵי שֵׁם קָדְשֶׁךָ שָׁם יָשׁוּבוּ אֵלֶיךָ בְּנֵי אֵלִים — שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר שִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, כֻּלָּם כְּאֶחָד אֶל מָקוֹם אֶחָד, לְפָנֶיךָ יִשְׁתַּחֲווּ וְיִכְרְעוּ, שִׁמְךָ קָדוֹשׁ מִתְמַלֵּא עֲלֵיהֶם זִיו פְּאֵר קֹדֶשׁ וְרִנָּה — **אֶלֶף דָּלֶת נוּן יוֹד**. הֵן בִּגְבוּרָתָךְ תַּחֲרִיב יָם, וְתִקְרָעֵהוּ לְי"ב גְּזָרִים. כֵּן תַּעֲשֶׂה הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה, צוּלָה תַחֲרִיב בְּאַפָּךְ, יִבָּשׁוּ נְהָרִים מִקִּנְאָתָךְ, וְעַמָּךְ עַל כָּל הָעַמִּים, וְחֶמְתָּךְ עַל כָּל הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר לֹא יְדָעוּךְ, שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל ה' אֱלֹקֵינוּ ה' אֶחָד.
**And the twelve combinations (*tzairufei*) of Your holy Name — there shall return to You the sons of G-ds — the twelve tribes of Yisrael — all of them as one to one place. Before You they shall prostrate and kneel; Your holy Name fills upon them — the radiance of the glory of holiness and song — *ALEF DALES NUN YUD*** [[אלף דלת נון יוד] — the 12-letter *milui* (expansion) of *Adonai*; cf. File 9 §57. Here the 12 tribes correspond to the 12 letters, and the **12 combinations (*tzairufim*)** of the Tetragrammaton are mapped onto the 12 tribes gathering]. **Behold — in Your might You shall destroy the sea, and tear it into 12 pieces.** **So shall You do this day: the deep You shall destroy with Your anger; the rivers shall dry up from Your jealousy; and Your people [shall be raised] over all the peoples, and Your fury upon all the nations that have not known You.** ***"Hear O Yisrael, Hashem our G-d, Hashem is One"*** [Devarim 6:4].

**Seven *Reki'ei Nogah* (firmaments of brightness) You spread before You — (*ve-hadakh*)** [*ve-hadar* — and splendor] [editorial bracket: (*ve-hadakh*) [*ve-hadar*] — the printer read *hadakh*, the editor corrected to *hadar* = "splendor"] **upon them. Awesome in the abundance of Your pride — pure servants, faithful in Your mission — and Your commandments upon them, and Your lordship in them — and Your Name they sanctify with the voice of their song.** **Through them You watch over all Your creations — whether for a rod [of chastening], whether for *chesed*.** **For Your land You prepare rain and downpour from Your heights — to satiate the longing soul, to water the earth, to turn desert to a pool of water, and parched land to springs of water.** **The eyes of all look to You — and You — Your wonders and Your thoughts are upon Your people, Beis Yisrael.**

**Please, King — open Your hand, in Your Holy Name *YaKVaK*** [[יק"וק] with vowels yielding pronunciation *YaKVaK* — a specific vowelization of the Tetragrammaton. The precise vocalization is part of the meditative name-invocation tradition] **— satisfy every living thing with favor — and let all paths of Your blessings be filled with the light of pleasantness, and joy and** ... **Give honor to Your Name, Hashem — G-d of Yisrael — and unto You shall lift song the four Ofanim, which stand in strength to bear the burden of the height of Your Throne.** **Above them He is set for the judgment of peoples, and judgment for truth He shall bring forth — truth shall sprout from the earth — for Your faithful people this day.** **And Your four *Ofanim* — upon their wings they shall lift it up — with the voice of the prayer which Your servant prays before You on behalf of Your people Beis Yisrael.**

**One is Your remembrance — splendid and awesome — to elevate Your *Shechinah* upon the wings of the *Keruvim* that fly — in the thundering of her beauty — which lifts itself up above every head.** **The Glory they shall praise, and her praise they shall recount — all the masters of pleasantness and sweetness and sweetness of tongue — and choice of lip shall they mention — in Your Name all the souls of Your *chasidim* who cleave to Your holiness, strengthening themselves to walk in Your ways — G-d Living** — ***SHADA"Y TZVA'OS ELOKIM ADIRIM*** [[שד"י צבאות אלקים אדירים] — a four-fold stacked Name-formula: *Shadai* + *Tzva'os* + *Elokim* + *Adirim*] — **G-d, King Living and Enduring forever — G-d of Life and King of the World.** **Your holy Name invoke upon all Your hosts — to fill their faces with splendor of radiance and holiness of Your beauty.** **And upon me, Your servant, draw down thus the *Nogah* of the splendor of *chesed*, the preciousness of His life — to walk before You in abundant humility — and a holy angel to walk in all Your ways and in the pathway of Your commandments forever and ever.**

**Unto You, *YHVH*, my soul I lift — to cleave in the pleasantness of Your praise — for You are the One Who gives life to all Your people Beis Yisrael — for Your people are a source of life; in Your light we shall see light** [Tehillim 36:10]. **Life and light from before You give this day — to all Your people Beis Yisrael. Give to them wings like an eagle in the wings of Ru'ach — to raise them up from the mud of the mire** [Tehillim 40:3] **and from the depths of the heart of seas — to strengthen themselves in Your service, and to prostrate before You in the splendor of Your holy Name. They shall exalt and rejoice, for every mouth and every tongue before You shall lift song — G-d of Life and King of the world.** **And in Your Holy Name *E-L ADONAI*** [[אל אדני]] **command Your fear upon every foe and accuser — strengthen in Your might all the soldiers of Your holiness — and Your blessing shall bless Your servant forever.** ***"Do good, Hashem, to the good and to the upright in their hearts; but those who incline to their crookednesses Hashem shall lead away with the workers of iniquity.
