HE:
עִיר שֶׁיֵּשׁ בָּהּ קַבָּלַת שֹׁחַד, חֲיָלוֹת בָּאִין עָלֶיהָ.

1. A city in which bribes are accepted, armies come upon it.

HE:
עַל־יְדֵי שֹׁחַד גְּדֻלָּתוֹ מִסְתַּלֶּקֶת.

EN:
2. Through bribery, one's greatness departs.

עַל־יְדֵי שֹׁחַד בָּא שְׂרֵפָה.
