וִדּוּי דְּבָרִים

Segment 1
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי וִדּוּי דְּבָרִים גּוֹרְמִים שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ־בָּרוּךְ־הוּא מַזְמִין מְלַמְּדֵי תִּינוֹקוֹת, שֶׁלּוֹמְדִין בֶּאֱמוּנָה.

EN:
1. Through confession, this causes The Holy Blessed One to bring teachers of children who teach faithfully.

Segment 2
HE:
גַּם גּוֹרְמִים, שֶׁנִּתְקָנִים הַדְּרָכִים מִמִּכְשׁוֹלוֹת.

EN:
2. This also elicits fixing of the roads from obstacles.

Segment 3
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי וִדּוּי דְּבָרִים זוֹכִים לְהִתְנַשְּׂאוּת.

EN:
3. Through confession, one merits to leadership (to be elevated).

Segment 4
HE:
מִי שֶׁאֵינוֹ מִתְוַדֶּה עַל עֲוֹנוֹתָיו, מוֹרָא בָּא עָלָיו.

EN:
4. One who does not confess his sins, [fallen] fear comes upon him.
