## Segment 1

אִשָּׁה שֶׁאוֹכֶלֶת צְנוֹן בְּעִבּוּרָה, תֵּלֵד בְּקִשּׁוּי.

1. A woman who eats radishes while in pregnancy will have difficulties in childbirth.


## Segment 2

אִשָּׁה שֶׁהִיא מְקַשָּׁה לֵילֵד, סְגֻלָּה שֶׁתִּתֵּן לָהּ לִשְׁתּוֹת מַיִם מִשִּׁבְעָה בְּאֵרוֹת.

2. A segulah for a woman having difficulty in childbirth is to give her to drink water from seven wells.


## Segment 3

גַּם בָּנֶיהָ לֹא יִהְיוּ עִמָּהּ בַּבַּית.

3. Also, her children should not be with her in the house.

גַּם תִּלְחַשׁ לָהּ בְּאָזְנָהּ אוֹתִיּוֹת שֶׁל שֵׁם ס"ג.

4. Also, whisper in her ear the letters of the name Sa”g (t.n. YVD-HY-VAV-HY = 63 = Sa"g).

גַּם מִטָּתָהּ לֹא תַּעֲמֹד בְּמַעֲרָב וּבְדָרוֹם.

5. Also, her bed should not stand in the west or the south.

גַּם תִּתְלֶה עַל צַוָּארָהּ מִמָּרוֹר הַנִּשְׁאָר.

6. Also, hang from her neck bitter herbs left over [from Passover].

גַּם תִּלְחַשׁ לָהּ בְּאָזְנָהּ אוֹתִיּוֹת: פֵּא וָיו עַיִן הֵא.
