צוה לאחד שהיה אצלו חולה בתוך ביתו שיקום קדם אור היום ויאמר שיר השירים כולו. ואמר: שכל הרפואות שבעולם כולם כלולים בשיר השירים, וכן היה שתכף היה שנוי להחולה וחזר לאיתנו:

He commanded a certain person who had a sick person in his house to rise before daybreak and recite the entire Song of Songs. And he said: All the remedies in the world are all included in the Song of Songs. And so it was — immediately there was a change in the sick person and he returned to health.
