# Chapter Thirty-Five: Being Publicized Throughout the World

## Segment 1

הַפֶּתֶק זֶה מִפְּלָאוֹת שֶׁל רַבֵּנוּ, עוֹלֶה עַל כָּל הַפְּלָאוֹת שֶׁל רַבֵּנוּ! זֶהוּ נֵס כָּזֶה.. לִפְנֵי כִּמְעַט מָאתַיִם שָׁנָה מִפְּטִירַת רַבֵּנוּ, הוּא כְּבָר נִפְטַר וְהוּא מְדַבֵּר אִתִּי: "תַּלְמִידִי הַיָּקָר". כָּכָה קִבַּלְתִּי בַּמִּכְתָּב.

Oy yoy yoy — such wonders of Hashem! Such a letter! One has not heard, the mind cannot absorb such a miracle, such a wonder in this dark generation. And certainly — we believe in the Torah that there were miracles. We do not see them, but we believe in the miracles written in the Torah — the miracles of the Exodus from Egypt and more miracles, miracles, miracles. But all those miracles were only temporary. And the miracle of the Petek — it is alive and enduring. And this is a wonder: how it has existed in the world — a thin piece of paper — for sixty years. Who has heard of such a thing — that a piece of paper would endure for sixty years? Even to a person, what passes over him he experiences. In particular the Petek was in such dangers — in places where it could have been lost. And it is alive and enduring!

הַפֶּתֶק זֶה לֹא רַק פֶּלֶא שֶׁהָיָה, הַפֶּתֶק הוּא נִמְצָא, הוּא לֹא נִפְסָק!

The entire Petek is such a miracle: how it was created, how it came into the world, how it has endurance. I opened the book and it was there, right where I had opened it. I immediately saw the paper — and from this paper, what happened happened…


## Segment 3

הַפֶּתֶק בְּכָל יוֹם אֶהְיֶה חָדָשׁ! לֹא כְּמוֹ שֶׁהוּא בָּא כְּבָר שִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה, הוּא אֶהְיֶה חָדָשׁ בְּכָל יוֹם. הַפֶּתֶק בְּכָל יוֹם אֶהְיֶה חָדָשׁ...

We hear and see such a thing — all of it is above nature, created from nothing. This is not the work of human hands. Who would know how to make such a signature? Such a wonder has never yet been in the world — this is only from Rabbenu!


## Segment 4

הַלַּיְלָה הָיָה לִי חֲלוֹם, הַחֲלוֹם הָיָה בִּטְבֶרְיָה וְרַבִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל קָרְדוֹנֶר בָּא אֵלַי מֵחֶבְרוֹן לִטְבֶרְיָה וְנַעֲשָׂה רַעַשׁ גָּדוֹל בְּכָל אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל: "יִשְׂרָאֵל בֶּער נַעֲשָׂה בְּרֶסְלֵב וְזֶה סַכָּנָה לְכָל הָעוֹלָם, צְרִיכִים לַהֲרֹג אוֹתוֹ וְאֶת רַבִּי יִשְׂרָאֵל קָרְדוֹנֶר!"

Ay — I found this through such miracles, such wonders, through individual Providence. And I saw what I saw. Such a wonder as has never yet been in the world. The mind cannot receive this. One sees such Providence, one sees with one's eyes such wonders… Above nature. But for sixty years the Petek was entirely in secret. It was in the world — but it was with me without any publicizing. Only I revived myself with it. There was no thought of it being publicized — because I felt the world was far from emunah and they would not understand and they would mock Breslov. So I did not publicize it. And three years ago I began to reveal and publicize it — because I said one must publicize the wonders of Hashem. That the Petek can perform miracles clothed in the natural order. Hashem arranged circumstances and I felt to publicize it throughout the entire world — that whoever receives it will receive it; whoever does not want to receive it will not receive it. We must publicize!


## Segment 5

וּפִתְאוֹם בָּא אֵלַי לַחֵדֶר קָצִין גָּדוֹל וְהוּא הָיָה עִם הַרְבֵּה קְצִינִים תַּחְתָּיו, וּבָא אֵלַי זֶה הַקָּצִין הַגָּדוֹל וְהֶרְאָה לִי בְּאֶצְבַּע וְאָמַר לִי בְּגַאֲוָה גְּדוֹלָה: "תֵּן אֶת הַפֶּתֶק!"

And also the letter from sixty years ago was a preparation for now. For sixty years it was in secret. It was alive without publicizing — sleeping, without action, without anything, doing nothing. And after sixty years it awakened gradually and said: "Here I am — I have come now. I have come to repair the world!"


## Segment 6

אָמַרְתִּי לוֹ: "מַדּוּעַ, מַה יֵּשׁ, מַה נּוֹרָא כָּל-כָּךְ, מָה אַתָּה מְפַחֵד כָּל-כָּךְ מֵהַפֶּתֶק?"

Suddenly it awakens — it is publicized throughout the whole world: in the newspapers, on the radio, on television — everyone. There are government ministers and members of parliament and journalists, and not one of them objected. One journalist not long ago said to me: "There are clear signs in the Petek about the redemption!"


## Segment 7

"מָה אַתָּה שׁוֹאֵל, תֵּן אֶת הַפֶּתֶק!"

And we see that this is a miracle — how they do not mock the Petek in parliament. They received it, swallowed it, and did not speak (laughs)…
