Segment 1
Why did our holy Rabbenu call himself a betler [beggar]? What is a betler — the poor. Why a beggar? The betler always pleaded before Hashem. He is a beggar — a pauper. He was always praying and weeping before Hashem: "Master of the Universe — give me, give me, give me, give me…" The beggar weeps: "Give us, give us, give us — Likutay Tfilos…"
Segment 2
There is already Likutay Tfilos — what this is! It will give life and joy and heal the entire world — all the wicked, all the heretics. He will heal them and return them to good. One word will transform the entire world!
Segment 3
We only pray to Hashem about everything. And what will be made will be made — there will be such joy throughout the entire world. But without this — joy without life, nothing.
Segment 4
The world — the entire world — did not have even one word from the beggars, not even one word. And now the beggar is with us. We have all the beggars: the deaf beggar, the blind beggar, the lame beggar — such beggars! What joy! There will be such joy — all the great doctors will be left without a livelihood. The beggar will heal all the illnesses. The beggars are making us joyful, healing us, strengthening us… Our holy Rabbenu is all the beggars!
Segment 5
Ay — I loved to hear how Rabbi Yisroel would say: "When Mashiach comes, all will say — each one to his friend: 'Come, let us sing to Hashem, let us shout out to the Rock of our salvation. Let us greet His Presence with thanksgiving, with songs let us shout out to Him… In whose hand are the depths of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are His. Whose is the sea and He made it, and His hands fashioned the dry land. Come — let us bow down and bend the knee, let us kneel before Hashem our Maker. For He is our G-d and we are the people of His pasture and the flock of His hand — today, if you would but heed His voice…'" [Tehillim 95] And so all the Tehillim — all the holy Tehillim. Then all the Torah will illuminate — illuminating throughout the entire world. There will be great joy when Mashiach comes — very great joy throughout the entire world. In every place, in every street, in every house — all will dance and rejoice. There will be only one service: they will dance and rejoice!
Segment 6
Can the joy be described that there will be when Mashiach comes? In every place there will be only joy and dancing. They will dance and rejoice with every word Rabbenu revealed in the world — of the beggars, of the Ba'al Tefillah, of all the Sipuray Maasiyos. We already have the beggars. We already have the Ba'al Tefillah. How much joy there will be in the entire world — in every house and every place. And the children will be joyful and dancing. We already have the deaf beggar, the blind beggar. Nu — will there be sadness? There will be such joy…
Segment 7
Who has heard such a thing — who has seen such a thing, who has seen such a thing! Such a thing has never yet been in the world — such wonders… The story of the Ba'al Tefillah — before Rabbenu the story did not exist. And also the Beggars did not exist. When Rabbenu came — then there are already the stories and the Likutay Moharan and the Likutay Halachos. There will be joy that we have no grasp of!
Segment 8
Oy — what will be! What joy will there be — the time of redemption is very near. In the redemption we will be free: liberty. The entire world will dance and rejoice with every word, with all the beggars.
Segment 9
Oy — Master of the Universe! How he wept before Hashem and longed greatly for every word of the stories. "When will we merit to this — to feel and see and understand this word, this word, this word? The conversations and every word our holy Rabbenu revealed in the world." This is the end — the time of redemption has come. Our holy Rabbenu writes to me: "The time of redemption is very near!" Oy, oy, oy…
Segment 10
Oy — Master of the Universe! How he wept before Hashem and longed greatly for every word of the stories. "When will we merit to this — to feel and see and understand this word, this word, this word? The conversations and every word our holy Rabbenu revealed in the world." This is the end — the time of redemption has come. Our holy Rabbenu writes to me: "The time of redemption is very near!" Oy, oy, oy…
Segment 11
I merited to see with my own eyes the service of Rabbi Yisroel — how he served Hashem, how he spoke with Hashem…
Segment 12
I remember his weeping — how he wept at the tziyun of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. It was like pouring several pails of water from his tears to Hashem — yes.
Segment 13
His voice was… the voice of Hashem!
Such holiness of holies was present — such longing… It was literally a miracle that he was alive in the world. "Master of the Universe — have mercy on me, have mercy on me! When will You give us the beggars? When will You give us such life?" He merited to live such life-force, such pleasantness, such life, such words… A heart like this one does not see until Mashiach comes!
