Chapter Sixty-Eight: A Prayer for the Remembrance of the Barren
תְּפִלּוֹת לִזְכּוֹת לְבָנִים הֲגוּנִים וּלְהִנָּצֵל מִצַּעַר גִּדּוּל בָּנִים

Segment 1
HE:
הַשֵּׁם יִתְבָּרַךְ יְרַחֵם עָלֵינוּ וְכָל אֶחָד יְבַקֵּשׁ רַחֲמִים בְּכָל יוֹם שֶׁנִּזְכֶּה לִשְׁמֹר הַתּוֹרָה וְהַיְלָדִים וְלִלְמֹד תּוֹרָה וּלְקַיֵּם הַתּוֹרָה, זֶה הָעִקָּר!

EN:
Master of the Universe — have mercy on us and give us the strength to merit to remember the barren through our prayer. Teach us in Your great mercy how to pray for the barren — to remember them for good in a matter of salvation and compassion. Hear our prayer and heed our supplication — that all the barren ones may be remembered for good, quickly and swiftly. May they give birth in Your mercy to sons who will be alive and enduring. May Your people "the children of Israel multiply like the sand of the sea which cannot be measured or counted." And just as Your mercy prevailed over our first forefather — "Abraham was one" — and his wife Sarah our mother, whom You remembered for good and visited them in their old age and gave them Yitzchak and promised to multiply his offspring like the stars of Heaven: so too may Your innards stir with mercy for all the barren women of Your people the House of Israel — whose eyes are directed to You alone — to give them enduring offspring for Your service and awe. Have mercy on them for Your own sake. Visit them for good and fulfill their requests in mercy. Be entreated for them and hear their prayer. Give them pregnancy quickly and swiftly. May they merit to produce enduring offspring. May their fathers and mothers rejoice in them. May they merit to raise them to Torah, to the wedding canopy, and to good deeds, for long days and good years. Amen, so may it be His will.

HE:
לַחֲשֹׁב, לֹא לִשְׁכֹּחַ מַה שֶּׁאֲנַחְנוּ מְדַבְּרִים, זֶה כָּל חִיּוּתֵנוּ, כָּל לִבֵּנוּ, הַכֹּל!

HE:
רַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ הוּא נִצַּח אֶת כָּל הָעוֹלָם. כָּל הָעוֹלָם, כָּל הַחֲכָמִים כֻּלָּם יִתְבַּיְּשׁוּ עִם כָּל הַחָכְמוֹת שֶׁלָּהֶם, הֵם יִתְבַּיְּשׁוּ וְיִתְחָרְטוּ עַל שֶׁעָזְבוּ אֶת הָאֱמֶת - אֶת הַתּוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה שֶׁלָּנוּ. רוֹאִים פְּלָאוֹת כָּאֵלֶּה, מַה שֶּׁאֲנַחְנוּ וְזַרְעֵנוּ עוֹד לֹא יָדַעְנוּ הַכֹּחַ שֶׁלָּהֶם שֶׁיֵּשׁ אֶצְלָם בַּלֵּב, הֵם רָצוּ חַס-וְשָׁלוֹם לַהֲפֹךְ כָּל הַתּוֹרָה עַל-פִּי דַּעְתָּם; הֵם לֹא הִצְלִיחוּ, לֹא הִצְלִיחוּ. יָבוֹא אֵיזֶה שָׁנִים וְהֵם יִתְבַּיְּשׁוּ וְיִתְבַּטְּלוּ כֻּלָּם לְגַמְרֵי לְדִבּוּר אֶחָד שֶׁל רַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ, שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה. הֵם יַעֲשׂוּ קְבָרִים וְיִקְבְּרוּ אֶת עַצְמָם מִגֹּדֶל הַבּוּשָׁה כְּנֶגֶד כָּל דִּבּוּר שֶׁל רַבֵּנוּ שֶׁיֶּשְׁנּוֹ כָּבַר בָּעוֹלָם. דִּבּוּר אֶחָד שֶׁל רַבֵּנוּ הוּא מְהַפֵּךְ כָּל הָעוֹלָם, כָּל הַחֲכָמִים. הוּא מַרְאֶה לָהֶם שֶׁהֵם לֹא יוֹדְעִים כְּלוּם!

EN:
Our Father our King — have mercy on us for the sake of Your Name. Sanctify us with Your supreme holiness and purify our hearts to serve You in truth. Have mercy on us and arrange our livelihood in abundance from You. Do not cause us to need the gifts of flesh and blood, nor their loans. Open for us Your good treasury. Pour upon us abundant goodness and blessing, mercy and life and peace forever. Bless all the work of our hands and the fruit of our womb. May our sons and daughters be alive and enduring in Your service, Your Torah, and Your awe, for long days and good years. Have mercy on our children and the children of all Your people the House of Israel (and in particular upon the children of [insert name]). Draw upon them long and good life. May all our descendants live long and good years — may their shoots go forth and their branches multiply. May their offspring be like the grass of the earth. Save them in Your mercy from the anguish of raising children, G-d forbid. Rather, may all merit to raise their sons and daughters to Torah, the wedding canopy, and good deeds — both those already born and those destined to be born to them. May they all have long days and good years. May they all leave a remnant in the land — may their descendants multiply like the sand of the sea and the stars of the Heavens in abundance, forever and for generations until the end of all generations.

Segment 4
HE:
אוֹי, כַּמָּה מִצְווֹת עַל כָּל יֶלֶד מֵהַיְּהוּדִים, כָּל יֶלֶד. רַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ גִּלָּה חָכְמָה כָּזֶה שֶׁלֹּא יִרְצוּ - רַק לְדַבֵּר אֵיךְ זוֹכִים לְקַיֵּם הַתּוֹרָה.

EN:
Master of the Universe — look upon their affliction and see their pain, for You know their hearts. You know their suffering and their many troubles that they have borne until now. Master of all the world — may G-d Almighty give them mercy: He who said to His world "enough" — may He say "enough" to their troubles. Act for the sake of the merit of their ancestors. Gladden their hearts and help them from now — that their offspring may multiply. May they merit to raise all their sons and daughters. May their days and years be long. May they grow and increase and all their generations flourish. May it be fulfilled in us and in them: "And the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea which cannot be measured or counted for its multitude, and it shall be that in the place where it was said to them: you are not My people — it shall be said to them: children of the living G-d."

Segment 5
HE:
בְּכָל תּוֹרָה וְתוֹרָה שֶׁגִּלָּה רַבֵּנוּ, הוּא קִיּוּם כָּל הָעוֹלָם וְכָל זַרְעֵנוּ וְכָל.. עַד הַסּוֹף!

EN:
Help all who have no children with enduring offspring for Your service and awe (and in particular [insert name]). Draw blessing and good life upon all our children and descendants. Save us and all our generations and all of Israel from the anguish of raising children forever. May we all merit to raise all our descendants without any pain or harm — rather be with us to raise them in tranquility, in peace and calm and quiet, to Torah, to the wedding canopy, and to good deeds, for long days and good years in Your service, Your Torah, and Your awe. May their shoots go forth and may their glory be like an olive tree. May there be no barren man or barren woman among us or our offspring forever. May our offspring and the offspring of Your people the House of Israel multiply like the stars of the Heaven and the sand of the sea, from generation to generation forever. May they all occupy themselves with Torah for its own sake, day and night — and be doers of Your will in truth. May they not turn aside from any word of the Torah, right or left, even by a hair's breadth, all their days forever. May they all know You in truth — may they all know You, from their smallest to their greatest. Amen, so may it be His will.

Segment 6
HE:
הָעִקָּר הַיְסוֹד שֶׁל הַיַּהֲדוּת הִיא הַתּוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, בְּכָל דִּבּוּר וְדִבּוּר שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה יֵשׁ לוֹ כֹּחַ לַהֲפֹךְ כָּל הָעוֹלָם. יִהְיֶה עִנְיָן שֶׁצְּרִיכִין לַהֲפֹךְ הַתּוֹרָה, לֹא לְפִי הַחֲכָמִים שֶׁל עַכְשָׁו, רַק לְפִי הַחֲכָמִים שֶׁלָּנוּ, אֱמוּנָה וּתְפִלָּה וְתוֹרָה. מַה שֶּׁהַחֲכָמִים שֶׁל עַכְשָׁו לִמְּדוּ אֶת הַיְלָדִים שֶׁלֹּא כַּתּוֹרָה, אֲנַחְנוּ צְרִיכִים לַהֲפֹךְ הַכֹּל לְהֵפֶךְ גָּמוּר. צְרִיכִים לַהֲפֹךְ לְהֵפֶךְ לְהֵפֶךְ - זֶה רַק רַבֵּנוּ הַקָּדוֹשׁ, הוּא בָּא לָעוֹלָם לַהֲפֹךְ הַכֹּל לְהֵפֶךְ, הוּא יַהֲפֹךְ בְּתַכְלִית הַהֵפֶךְ אֶת כָּל הָעוֹלָם.
