I am ashamed to tell everything — but the truth is so…

I remember the taste and the burden that I had. I had no bread — not I and not the children. Years I had no bread to eat. I walked from Meah She'arim to Sha'arei Chesed on sick feet — and I begged: "I need bread for the children." I returned home — and there was no one to have mercy — no one to give me even bread. And so I left the children — went to pray and returned — and there was no bread. No bread — no money — I had nothing…

I tasted the taste: what it is when children cry: "Bread — bread — bread!"

A small child asking for bread — and I had nothing to give him. Just some piece of bread — just some piece that he might taste the taste of bread. Oy — what kind of taste this is…

I saw when the children opened their mouths: "Bread — bread — bread!"

One child — a small child — he died of hunger!

He became swollen — he died…

One child of one year passed away from me — my first child. He was a hero — he departed. He died of hunger. How much he wept: "Bread — bread — bread!"

He became swollen for some days. And the appearance of his body was like a mountain of gold. And it became normal — until he gave out his soul — and felt the taste of death from hunger! Such and such was how it was!

I saw that he died every day — not just that he died on one day: every day he died. Every night he wept: "Bread — bread — bread!" All night he wept. I hear — and I have nothing to give him. Who can speak and tell what passed over Breslov!

He suffered such hunger — I am not exaggerating — I am not lying G-d forbid. This is still not even a drop from the sea of what I suffered for being Breslov. Where is such a thing heard in the world! I cannot tell and describe the situation as it was!

I was in Teveriah — my wife and the child. And I came and saw this sorrow of the slain of hunger. It is impossible to describe in the mind what this is. Such sorrow as there is none in the world. Even the slain of the sword are better than the slain of hunger.

When I recall the days and nights that I suffered such hunger — my child suffered Gehinnom in life. Hunger is worse than a bullet. Hunger is very terrible. A one-year-old child has all the powers of all the tastes of the world — and he felt this was lacking to him. He needed bread. And he wept until he died. This is a very hard death — harder than all: hunger. There is a verse: "Better the slain of the sword than the slain of hunger." The slain of the sword: he dies — he departs. But the slain of hunger — G-d have mercy — that taste.

I was in Teveriah — my wife and the child. And I came and saw this sorrow of the slain of hunger. It is impossible to describe in the mind what this is. Such sorrow as there is none in the world. Even the slain of the sword are better than the slain of hunger.

I suffered what there is no such thing in the world! Such a death there is none in the world — only for Breslov!

Ayy — ayy — ayy! I was in danger — I suffered such humiliation of hunger — such hunger — I and the children. This is not for nothing. This is Providence from Hashem. I have no complaints against anyone. Only I had to suffer this — to pass through this. And this was for a very great good. This was atonement for me and to acquire good things. I feel this good now. Yes.

Who knows how many punishments — how many troubles I exempted the entire people of Israel through the fact that the child suffered such a death. The son they called Nachman. He died — and another child was born and they also called him Nachman. The first Nachman died of hunger.

Oy yoy yoy — what I suffered in my life: this cannot be estimated or described. Who can describe and tell? It was what it was — I cannot tell…

We were in lowliness more than the Jews among the gentiles. In great lowliness — in great humiliation. They would say: "What — he studies Rav Noson's Likutay Halachos." I — blessed be Hashem — overcame and stood in such humiliation…

For all the generations — forever and ever — all the generations would not suffice to tell and describe what we suffered!

We had no women to marry. All the women did not want Breslov. They would say: "What — Breslov? They need neither money nor honor nor anything. For what to marry? What kind of life is this?"

No — Breslov Chassidim say: "Money is nothing — we do not need money. And honor is nothing — we do not need honor. No honor and no money." Nu — what then is needed?

The entire world did not want to take Breslov for a match: "He is Breslov? Nu — let us go…"

There are no words to speak — it is impossible to tell — describe — speak. However much you hear: this is still not a drop from the sea of what was — what we suffered — only for being Breslov. Still not a drop from the sea…

In Teveriah and in Tsfas and in Yerushalayim there were two Breslovers: Rabbi Yisroel Kardoner and Yisroel Ber!

They laughed at us. But in our hearts we laughed at them. The Likutay Halachos and the Likutay Moharan — I do not know how it came about in the world. We laughed at all of them! We printed!

"There will yet be much to tell of my people." Our holy Rabbenu said: "There will be much to speak and tell of my people — what heroes they are!"

"When the entire world will see the worth of my people — that they are prepared to suffer everything for the truth. What heroes they are — what soldiers they are! Breslov Chassidim — what heroes they are! They do not look with their eyes — they do not want name and commotion!"

Our holy Rabbenu — Rabbi Nachman of Breslov — he is our Rebbi and the Rebbi of all Israel. He has all manner of counsels — all manner of healings for each and every one according to what he needs. The Rebbi has already prepared for us the Likutay Moharan — the Likutay Tfilos — the Likutay Halachos — the Likutay Aytzos. He has already prepared everything for us! For each and every one. The healings and the salvations and the repairs.

And the Rebbi — one must seek very greatly a Rebbi: a Rebbi who can help us. The Rebbi of the world is our holy Rabbenu: Rabbi Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman! He is the Rebbi of all the world — of all Israel. He is the Rebbi of the Torah and of all Israel!

Happy are we — how good is our portion — that we have such a Rebbi…

Do you know who said this: Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman? They must — they need to wait until Mashiach comes. I cannot leave here before that. I cannot leave here — only until Mashiach comes. What! What are you thinking…

Today in this time — Rabbi Nachman of Breslov will be revealed a little — he who is above the Torah — above all the tzadikim!

He came into the world to repair the entire world — all the wicked — all the impure. All of them will be clean and will be together with Hashem — with the Torah. Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman is the root and the essential. Every word that came out of his holy mouth surpasses everything. Every word of Rabbenu, may his memory be blessed — from the heavens — from Hashem Himself. All his words are literally the words of Hashem! There are already counsels from our holy Rabbenu — from Hashem. Our holy Rabbenu received from Hashem!

If our holy Rabbenu had been revealed in the world — the world would all be true holy tzadikim…

Now the light of our holy Rabbenu must come into the world. He is the Rebbi of all the Torah — of all the tzadikim. Such wonders are revealed in the world — such wisdom — such truth as has not yet been revealed in the world. And this is our holy Rabbenu — he is the key to everything! The Adversary closes — and our holy Rabbenu opens! Our holy Rabbenu opens all the gates of repentance and of everything — of all the repairs. All the keys are with him — and he opens with one key all the lights! Such a thing has never yet been in the world…

The essential is only our holy Rabbenu. This must illuminate for the entire world — for all of Israel. As long as this has not yet been revealed: we have nothing!

The world without Rabbenu — it has nothing. It has no life-force at all. Our holy Rabbenu surpassed all the cleverness — all the Torah — all the tzadikim — everything. Our holy Rabbenu is the father — he is the mother — he is everything! He is the Torah — he is the emunah — he is everything! Everything: Rabbenu! Without Rabbenu we are lacking everything. Without him we have nothing. With our holy Rabbenu — everything — everything is good…

Our holy Rabbenu says that he teaches Hashem how to conduct Himself with us — he gives Him counsels. Who ever said such words!

He will repair the entire world — each and every one completely. A complete repair. All the repairs depend only on drawing close to Rabbenu. All our repair — the repair of the entire world — depends only on drawing close to Rabbenu. Such repairs as have never yet been in the world! He will repair us and all the sinners and all the wicked. There are things that cannot be repaired — but he makes new! In one moment he illuminates the entire world — brings fire into the entire world. He can create a new world — in one moment!

Everything is with him: the Temple — the Holy of Holies — the Foundation Stone: everything is with him! He surpasses everything! All the Torah is received from Rabbenu — the Holy of Holies is received from Rabbenu. All draw sustenance from him. He is the redeemer — the savior — he is everything. Our holy Rabbenu!

Our holy Rabbenu will himself attend to everything. In his hand is everything — all of creation — all the world — all the Torah — all of Israel. This is a wondrous matter as has never been — coming in the time of the redemption…

However much we know does not reach a drop from the sea of the greatness of Rabbenu. Everything does not come into accounting — nothing against his greatness. "I am the river that purifies from all stains" — who? What tzadik ever said such a thing — if not Mashiach!

All the redemption depends on Rabbenu. Everything — everything: the coming of Mashiach and everything. If our holy Rabbenu is already in the world — Mashiach is already here. Mashiach will already find everything ready and prepared. Our holy Rabbenu has already prepared everything for Mashiach. Our holy Rabbenu has already prepared everything!

When Mashiach comes — he will reveal our holy Rabbenu. Who is this — who is Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman. Mashiach will bring the light of Rabbenu, may his memory be blessed, into the world. Mashiach will be a student of Rabbenu…

This is such a wonder: that we are such sick ones — no one can help us even a drop from the sea. Only he — only he! He can heal all the sick in the world! Every word of Rabbenu revives the dead — everything!

However much we know of Rabbenu — so does the evil inclination go and distance and disappear. Our holy Rabbenu kills it — with all his soldiers.

What is in the world — such illnesses that no repair can reach from any help — entirely lost. And he transforms everything! Such sick ones as we are today — they have no healing. But our holy Rabbenu — even such illnesses he can repair — heal — gladden. He can help all of Israel at every moment. With one word he heals all the illnesses of all the sick — with one word!

This is such a wonder: that we are such sick ones — no one can help us even a drop from the sea. Only he — only he! He can heal all the sick in the world! Every word of Rabbenu revives the dead — everything!

Every word of his and every matter of his is above nature and it is eternal — always in every generation. So he said: that he is the true leader of all Israel in every generation — this does not cease! What he revealed to us does not yet reach a drop from the sea…

He said there are illnesses that have no healing — and I can heal even such illnesses. Such sick ones — I can help them. Even a sick person who has no healing: I can heal him! If we knew of this — believed in this: we would be such holy tzadikim as have never been…

Our holy Rabbenu is such a secret as has never been since the day of creation. Such a wonder has never yet been in the world. There has never been such a novelty in the world. New! Every word that our holy Rabbenu revealed in the world — an entirely new world was made. He said that every word encompasses all the Torah and all the tzadikim and all of Israel — in one word! So he can encompass all the Torah in one word.

One word of Rabbenu transforms the entire world — all the wise men. He shows them they know nothing. He surpassed all the great ones — everything. And his truth: there is no truth like this — no wisdom like this. The entire world cannot stand against one word of Rabbenu. All the wise men — all of them — will be entirely nullified against Rabbenu. All of them go mad — all the great ones — all of them are nullified against such words. Who has seen such words! Just one word of Rabbenu encompasses all the entire world! Every word of Rabbenu is the entire Torah!

Every word of his and every matter of his is above nature and it is eternal — always in every generation. So he said: that he is the true leader of all Israel in every generation — this does not cease! What he revealed to us does not yet reach a drop from the sea…

We still do not know at all of Rabbenu — we and all the world and all the generations that will come: it still does not suffice to attain one word of Rabbenu!

One could expire from the greatness of the life-force of every word that our holy Rabbenu revealed in the world. Every word of his is a fountain — it is the sea of wisdom. One word is the great sea — the sea of wisdom — such a sea! A sea of new salvations and new healings as has never yet been. One word of his that he reveals — he renews and heals the entire world — all the heretics — all the wicked. Complete heretics — and they will become holy tzadikim. One word is sufficient for the entire world.

The great sea would not suffice to write of the greatness of Rabbenu, may his memory be blessed. With every word of his he can conquer the entire world…

There will yet be a time when I hope to Hashem — perhaps I will merit to overcome through prayers and to continue and tell what our holy Rabbenu is. Every word spoken of our holy Rabbenu is a great sweetening for the entire world. All the salvations of each and every one of Israel every day and at every moment: at our holy Rabbenu's.

Our holy Rabbenu is the chosen one of all the generations. He is the greatest doctor in every generation. Every word of his is healing and salvation for us and for all our generations — forever and ever! In every Torah teaching and teaching that Rabbenu revealed: he is the existence of all the world and all our descendants until the end. Everything depends on Rabbenu — all the Torah and the emunah — all our lives in this world and in the World to Come: this is only Rabbenu!

Our essential is to be bound and cleaving to our holy Rabbenu. Everything he says is truth and firm and correct. And we must sacrifice ourselves to fulfill every word he revealed. Not to listen to anyone. Nothing can help us: only Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman! Rabbenu Rabbi Nachman is our Rebbi — he is our Rebbi and the Rebbi of all Israel! He is the head of all the tzadikim — the head of everything. The matter of Rabbenu, may his memory be blessed, surpasses everything — all the geniuses — everything. Against Rabbenu, may his memory be blessed: everything is nullified. The matter of our holy Rabbenu is a matter that surpasses everything above all. And our holy Rabbenu himself — more and more and more… Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — this is the name of Rabbenu. And this encompasses the creation of the entire world. All the tzadikim are included in this name — all the Torah and all the tzadikim and all the wondrous lights and all the lights — everything — all the generations. Never yet was such a wonder in the world from any tzadik. This our holy Rabbenu revealed. Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — this is a new thing! Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — this is greater and higher than everything. This surpasses everything — all the Torah — everything. Only Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman! — sufficient. This is everything. This is the entire world — this is the entire Torah and all of Israel — this is all the wisdoms and all — everything! All the healings and all the salvations — everything in one word! Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — he makes everything complete — new! He is new and he makes everything new! Just to mention the name of Rabbenu — Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — this is sufficient. This is an easy thing to say. And whoever says Na Nach — he holds on — he enters the root of creation — the root of all the Torah and of all the tzadikim. One enters another world. Just to say with the mouth this holy name — Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — this sweetens all the troubles and all the harsh judgments and all the sins and all the falls and all the heresies of the world. This is sufficient to destroy all the Sitra Achra [the forces of impurity] — all the darkness — everything. It transforms everything. Such a power — a new power as has never been! Yes — to say all day Na Nach — this is the key to all the healings — to all the salvations. This is everything — everything! Na Nach — it has power. It opens all the gates — all the gates of mercy — all the gates of prayer — all the gates of repentance — all the Torah. It has all the healings and all the salvations and all that we need. The entire world must be filled with Na Nach… The melody Na Nach is a melody that is a segulah to heal all illnesses. It can do everything. Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman gives healings to all the gravely ill who cannot be helped. Just let him say it — he will receive! Just the melody Na Nach — the entire world is in complete repair. Our holy Rabbenu will repair the entire world with his name: Na Nach! Sufficient for the entire world: Na Nach! I am Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — this is such a melody that is repair and healing and salvation for each and every one. We know nothing. Our holy Rabbenu had mercy on us. He revealed a drop from the sea of who he is. Who knows Na Nach? Without this — there is no life — there is nothing… Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman — he is everything! I will make known to you who I am: I am Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman! This is I! I — Rabbi Nachman! This is Na Nach Nachma Nachman MayUman! Never yet been in the world such wondrous light… Our holy Rabbenu said that these Sipuray Maasiyos — through them one merits that barren women be remembered [to bear children]! There are already such Sipuray Maasiyos! Until Rabbenu there were no Sipuray Maasiyos — and there was no Likutay Moharan — and there was nothing. Nothing — naught — not at all! If there were in the world only one page from the Sipuray Maasiyos — one page from the Likutay Moharan — one page from the Likutay Halachos: then the world would be nullified to nothing! If there were no Sipuray Maasiyos in the world — nothing yet existed. Without the Sipuray Maasiyos — the entire world is nothing. We already have the Sipuray Maasiyos! This is worth more than the entire world. Every word is worth more than the entire world. Nu — what joy this is… Such Likutay Tfilos and such Sipuray Maasiyos — such words: there are none in the world. If this were revealed — the entire world would be tzadikim! Such Sipuray Maasiyos have never yet been in the world — this is only of Mashiach… Blessed be Hashem — Hashem gave us the Likutay Moharan. Our holy Rabbenu greatly rejoices that the Likutay Moharan is in the world. Every Torah teaching is all our life-force and our descendants — everything. One page of the Likutay Moharan against all the Torah — one page from the Likutay Moharan! Every word of the Likutay Moharan is all the Torah and all the repairs that each person needs… Hoy — our holy Rabbenu is already in the world. And he gave us the Likutay Moharan and the Sipuray Maasiyos and the Likutay Halachos and the Likutay Tfilos: he has already created a new world! Rav Noson said that in the World to Come — if Gehinnom should be decreed for him — he will say a Torah from the Likutay Moharan. Then it will become the Garden of Eden there! There is already the Likutay Moharan in the world — nu: all of them have repair! There is already in the world the Likutay Moharan — the Likutay Halachos — the Likutay Tfilos. He will make all of them holy tzadikim. All the heretics — all the wicked — will be tzadikim! Has there been such a Likutay Moharan since the day of creation? One word of the Likutay Moharan encompasses all the tzadikim and all the Torah. There are no words to speak… The Likutay Moharan — what this is — what this is! What salvation this is — what healing — what! This is all our repair — this is everything! In it is everything for fear of Heaven and emunah and repentance and all that is needed — there in every single word. No tzadik ever said such words: "And Mashiach will expound a commentary on the Likutay Moharan." Nu — he is the one singular in all the world — singular! Who said such words: "Mashiach will expound a commentary on the Likutay Moharan!" All the geniuses and all the great ones of the world will be shamed and nullified against Rabbenu — against one person. One word from the Likutay Moharan conquers all of them — the entire world. One word! The Likutay Tfilos — the Likutay Halachos — the Likutay Moharan: these are the teachings of Mashiach! Our holy Rabbenu said: "There is already in the world the Likutay Moharan — so the world will not be destroyed…" The time has arrived for the Likutay Tfilos to be revealed in the world. We do not know at all what actions it performs in the world. Every word of it is repairs and the life-force of all the world! Hoy — such Likutay Tfilos! The entire world needs it at every moment. The entire world! The Likutay Tfilos must be printed throughout the entire world — for all the yeshivos — in every place there shall be the Likutay Tfilos. They will see if there has ever been such a thing in the world — such a wonder — the Likutay Tfilos. Has there been such a Likutay Tfilos in the world? This is only of Mashiach! The Likutay Tfilos — our righteous Mashiach will reveal it. He will reveal what the Likutay Tfilos is. Mashiach will gather the entire world — all of Israel — and repair them. He will give them the Likutay Tfilos and they will say the Likutay Tfilos — this is everything. Mashiach — Mashiach will expound a commentary on what the Likutay Tfilos is — what the Likutay Halachos is — what the Likutay Aytzos is — what the Sipuray Maasiyos is. Mashiach will each time take some drop from the sea and tell — and all will become tzadikim — complete penitents — holy tzadikim. All of them! The Likutay Tfilos makes tzadikim! Is there such a Likutay Tfilos in the world? Who can say there is in the world even one word from the Likutay Tfilos? Such truth — such Torah — such Likutay Tfilos has never yet been in the world. Such prayers — there are none in the world! Such a Likutay Tfilos — about which Rav Noson says explicitly: "Never has such prayer been revealed — there has been no such prayer in the world!" Such a Likutay Tfilos — where every word can change the entire world from one extreme to the other. The entire world! Every word can heal the entire world — gladden the entire world — strengthen the entire world. Every word! The Likutay Tfilos can receive the entire world — it will conquer the entire world. It will revive — gladden — heal the entire world — all the wicked — all the heretics. It will heal and return them to good. One word will transform the entire world! The Likutay Tfilos draws us close to the Torah and to Hashem in truth. In every word of the Likutay Tfilos — it is the life-force of all of them. It gives life-force to the entire world — to all the wicked. The Likutay Tfilos is the hospital of the entire world! There will be such great joy in the world when it is revealed: the Likutay Tfilos… Ayy — the Likutay Tfilos! It is fitting that we occupy ourselves much with this. One merits such lights as have not yet been revealed in the world. If you have sense — acquire the Likutay Tfilos and say much of the Likutay Tfilos — and you will find life-force — eternal life — a life worthy to be called life. Whoever says the Likutay Tfilos — he finds the truth! That we merit to say much Likutay Tfilos and much Likutay Halachos — these are the words of Mashiach.
