תּוֹרָה רלח
כְּשֶׁשְּׁנֵי אֲנָשִׁים מְחֻלָּקִים בְּאֵיזֶה עִנְיָן, וּבָא הַשְּׁלִישִׁי וּמַסְכִּים עִם אֶחָד יוֹתֵר מֵעִם חֲבֵרוֹ, זֶה מֵחֲמַת שֶׁזֶּה הָאֶחָד סָמוּךְ לְשָׁרְשׁוֹ יוֹתֵר מֵחֲבֵרוֹ:

When two people are divided over some matter — and a third comes and agrees with one more than the other — this is because that one is closer to the third's root than the other.
