Segment 1
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי לֵיצָנוּת יִהְיֶה לוֹ נוֹשִׁים הַרְבֵּה וְהֵם יִמְשְׁלוּ בּוֹ. גַּם נִכְשָׁל בְּנִאוּף, גַּם אִשְׁתּוֹ מוֹשֶׁלֶת בּוֹ.

EN:
1. Through mockery, one will have many creditors, and they will rule over him. Also he will fail in promiscuity. Also, his wife will dominate him.

Segment 2
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי לֵיצָנוּת הוֹלֵךְ וְנוֹפֵל. גַּם בָּא לְמִדַּת שֶׁקֶר, וְנָע וְנָד מִמָּקוֹם לְמָקוֹם.

EN:
2. Through mockery, one walks and falls (alt. - continuously falls). Also, he comes to falsehood, and wandering from place to place.

Segment 3
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי חֲנֻפָּה בָּא לֵיצָנוּת.

EN:
3. Through adulation comes mockery.

Segment 4
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי לֵיצָנוּת בָּאִים יִסּוּרִים.

EN:
4. Through mockery comes suffering.

Segment 5
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי לֵיצָנוּת אֵין לוֹ חָכְמָה.

EN:
5. Through mockery he does not have wisdom.

Segment 6
HE:
הַלֵּיצָנוּת הִיא מְתַעֶבֶת אֶת הָאָדָם עַל הַקָּדוֹשׁ־ בָּרוּךְ־הוּא וְעַל הַבְּרִיּוֹת.

EN:
6. Mockery makes a person loathsome to G-d and to people.

Segment 7
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי לֵיצָנוּת בָּא שְׂרֵפָה.

EN:
7. Through mockery come fires (lit. burning).

Segment 8
HE:
הַלּוֹעֵג עַל דִּבְרֵי חֲכָמִים, נִדּוֹן בְּצוֹאָה רוֹתַחַת.

EN:
8. One who mocks the words of the Sages is judged (sentenced to be committed) in boiling excrement.

Segment 9
HE:
כָּל לֵיצָנוּתָא אֲסִירָא חוּץ מִלֵּיצָנוּתָא דַעֲבוֹדָה זָרָה.

EN:
9. All forms of mockery are forbidden, except for the mocking of idol-worship.

Segment 10
HE:
קָשָׁה לֵיצָנוּת, שֶׁתְּחִלָּתוֹ יִסּוּרִין וְסוֹפוֹ כְּלָיָה.

EN:
10. Mockery is a dreadful matter – for it begins with suffering and its end is annihilation.

Segment 11
HE:
הַמִּתְלוֹצֵץ – מְזוֹנוֹתָיו מִתְמַעֲטִין וְנוֹפֵל בְּגֵיהִנֹּם וּמֵבִיא כְּלָיָה לָעוֹלָם.

EN:
11. One who mocks, his sustenance is diminished, and he falls into Hell, and he brings destruction to the world.
