Segment 1
HE:
כְּשֶׁיִּתְבַּטֵּל הַקִּנְאָה, אֲזַי יִהְיֶה קִבּוּץ גָּלֻיּוֹת.

EN:
1. When jealousy will be annulled, the Ingathering of the Exiles will take place.

Segment 2
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי קִנְאָה בָּא שְׂרֵפָה.

EN:
2. Through jealousy come fires (burning).

Segment 3
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי קִנְאָה בָּא שְׁפִיכוּת־דָּמִים.

EN:
3. Through jealousy comes bloodshed.

Segment 4
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי קִנְאָה בְּמָמוֹן חֲבֵרוֹ נַעֲשָׂה שׁוֹטֶה.

4. Through coveting the money of one's fellow, one becomes a fool.

Segment 5
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי בִּיאָתְךָ לַצַּדִּיק יִתְבַּטֵּל מִמְּךָ הַקִּנְאָה.

5. Through your coming to a Tzaddik, your jealousy will be annulled.

עַל־יְדֵי קִנְאָה עַצְמוֹתָיו מַרְקִיבִין.

6. Through jealousy, one's bones rot.

הַשּׁוּם מוֹצִיא קִנְאָה.

7. Garlic expels jealousy.

Segment 8
HE:
דְּפָרַע קִנְאָה מַחֲרִיב בֵּיתוֹ.

8. One who takes revenge out of jealousy destroys his house.

Segment 9
HE:
עַל־יְדֵי קִנְאָה בָּא תְּשִׁישׁוּת כֹּחַ.

EN:
9. Through jealousy comes a weakening of strength.
