Occurrence-scoped qatan annotations: sources and changes
The MAM-derived portion of the Torah qamats-qatan occurrence supplement is adapted from Miqra according to the Masorah. Attribution: Hebrew Wikisource (ויקיטקסט). Prepared by Seth (Avi) Kadish, with major technical assistance from Erel Segal-Halevi and Benjamin Denckla.

Pinned edition
MAM-basics revision 97fbec01ba596a775f1f7bfde9a2ea48be958a28. The saved source includes MAM-parsed/plus and MAM-simple, with BHS verse numbering, qere reading and combined cantillation selected. Both documented dalet and samekh qamats projections were compared; a decision is selected only when both explicitly mark the same vowel qatan.
Changes and limits
This adaptation extracts only authenticated, occurrence-scoped qatan decisions. It maps each one to an exact existing word and consonant-indexed vowel slot. Words, vowels, accents, meteg, source ink and fixed-column geometry are not replaced. No qatan is inferred from the absence of meteg. A separately sealed successor retains the earlier 1,841 marks and adds only 19 exact vowels whose original words and marked Eesh Matzliach scan crops were inspected and approved for occurrence-specific compatibility. This does not create a general accent or meteg exception. Other local differences, unbound qere, the Exodus 38:20 unit-transfer hold and all 82 tradition-alternate vowels remain unimported. Existing marks and explicit user-gadol rulings take precedence, including the retained Leviticus 26:38 user-qatan ruling where MAM differs.
The supplement is an additive in-memory annotation layer, not a complete MAM text copy or a claim that every Torah qatan has now been adjudicated. Technical source-hash bindings and per-occurrence evidence are retained in the implementation ledger, scripts/data/tikkun-qatan-expansion-20261006.json. The independent earlier four-occurrence supplement remains unchanged in its own ledger.
