Our Mission

ajew.org is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov and making them accessible to everyone. Through authentic translations, beautiful imagery, and thoughtful presentation, we hope to bring the light of Breslov Chassidus to seekers everywhere.

Rebbe Nachman of Breslov

Rabbi Nachman of Breslov (1772-1810) was a great-grandson of Rabbi Yisroel Baal Shem Tov, the founder of the Chassidic movement. Despite living only 38 years, Rebbe Nachman left behind a vast treasury of Torah teachings, stories, and guidance that continue to inspire millions.

His approach emphasizes joy, personal prayer (hisbodedus), faith, and the belief that no matter how far a person has fallen, they can always return to Hashem and find their unique path.

The Na Nach Movement

In 1922, Rabbi Yisroel Ber Odesser (known as Saba Yisroel, 1888-1994) discovered a miraculous letter — the Petek — in a book. This letter, signed with the mysterious phrase "Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman," became the foundation of the Na Nach movement.

Today, Na Nach Breslov is known for its joyful approach to spreading Rebbe Nachman's teachings through music, dancing, and outreach (hafatza) around the world.
