Rebbe Nachman of Breslov
Rabbi Nachman of Breslov (1772-1810), great-grandson of the Baal Shem Tov, left behind a vast treasury of Torah teachings, stories, prayers, and guidance that continue to illuminate the path for seekers everywhere. His approach centers on joy, personal prayer (hisbodedus), deep faith, and the unwavering belief that every person can draw close to Hashem no matter their situation.
Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman
In 1922, Rabbi Yisroel Ber Odesser (the Saba, 1888-1994) discovered a miraculous letter -- the Petek -- bearing the phrase Na Nach Nachma Nachman Me'Uman. This revelation became the heart of the Na Nach movement, which spreads Rebbe Nachman's light through music, dancing, and joyful outreach (hafatza) around the world. ajew.org carries this spirit forward by making the teachings freely available to all.
