And grant us merit through clapping of hands to sweeten all the judgments in the world — and may we merit to stir the three holy supernal hands: the great hand [ yad hagedolah ], the strong hand [ yad hachazakah ], and the high hand [ yad haramah ] — which are three of Your holy Names of Hashem [ shloshoh shemosecha hakdoshim YHVH ]. And through this may we merit to sweeten and nullify all the judgments that go forth from the three Elokim in the throat [ shlosh Elokim shebagaron ] — and may we merit to draw the three holy Names of Hashem toward the three Elokim to sweeten them through this. And through this may all the judgments be sweetened and nullified from upon us and from upon all Your people Israel from now and forever. And may we merit to drive away the contracted minds [ mochim d'katnus ] from us — and may You remove and take away the forgetfulness from us. And grant us merit to holy expanded minds [ mochim kedoshim d'gadlus ] and to holy memory [ zikaron dikdushah ] — to always remember all the words of Your holy Torah; and may I never forget anything from my learning. And may we merit to nullify every kind of strife from the world — and may the left be absorbed into the right; and may You draw great peace in the world. And may You nullify sword and slaughter and destruction from the world. And may You fulfill the verse: And I shall place peace in the land — and no sword shall pass through your land [ Leviticus 26:6 ]. Have pity and compassion upon us — and grant us merit to pray our prayer before You with great intention, with heart and soul and with great arousal; in great awe and fear and self-sacrifice out of love [ mesiras nefesh me'ahavah ]; and with great and immense joy and delight; and with pure and sound thoughts. And may You rebuke all the alien thoughts — that they have no dominion at all to confuse our prayer, G‑d forbid. Full of mercy — grant me merit through Your abundant mercies to the holiness of thought always; and in particular at the time of our prayers and supplications and requests. For our strength is only in the mouth — and we have now no support at all except prayer and supplications. Help us to pray before You with great arousal and arousal of the heart; until our hands are stirred to Hashem ; and may we merit to clapping of hands [ mechias kaf ] in great holiness at the time of prayer. Let us lift up our heart with our hands to G‑d in heaven [ Lamentations 3:41 ]. I spread out my hands to You — my soul is like a weary land toward You, Selah [ Psalms 143:6 ]. My soul is in my palm always — and Your Torah I have not forgotten [ Psalms 119:109 ]. And grant us merit to establish a fixed place for our prayer [ likboa makom litefilaseinu ] — and through this may the G‑d of Avraham be in our help; that we merit in his merit to sanctify the place upon which we stand to pray — in the holiness of the Land of Israel. And may our brain and intellect be pure and clear like fine silver without any mixture of dross or waste; and without any alien thoughts or confusion of mind at all. For in Your hand is power and might — and in Your hand it is to make great and to strengthen all. And now may the power of my Lord be great — as You have spoken [ Numbers 14:17 ]. Strengthen us and fortify us with Your great power — that we merit to strengthen ourselves and prevail over the wicked kingdom of Edom. And may You hasten and speed to redeem us — and may we merit to come to the Land of Israel swiftly and speedily in peace without any harm. And may You bring us our righteous Mashiach and may he redeem us with an eternal redemption — to join the tent to be one; speedily in our days, Amen. Our Father, our King — our Mighty One, our Creator, our Redeemer, our Fashioner, our Holy One, Holy One of Yaakov; our Shepherd, Shepherd of Israel: help us and save us through Your abundant mercies and great lovingkindnesses — that we merit to completely nullify and shatter the desire for food from us; and may we be satisfied with little — to eat little, just barely enough for sustenance, in the strictest measure; and to be satiated from it. And may You remove and drive away and nullify the hunger from within us. And help us to sustain ourselves and to satisfy our holy soul with minimal eating. And may I merit to be exacting in my eating from an olive-volume [ kazayis ] to an egg-volume [ kavaitzah ] — and may my small eating be in great holiness and purity in truth as Your good will desires. And grant me merit to draw my sustenance and my livelihood and all good influences from the Land of Israel [ Eretz Yisrael ] — which is the holy land, the land of the living; where is the root of all the influences and all the blessings. And therefore — help me and grant me merit through Your abundant mercies: that I merit to be absorbed in the attribute of our father Yaakov, may he rest in peace — whose attribute is truth [ midas ha'emes ]. And may I merit to always speak words of truth — and may no word of falsehood ever go forth from my mouth: neither in error nor in deliberation, neither under compulsion nor willingly. And may You guard me and save me — that I not stumble in any word of falsehood even by mistake. And may I merit to distance myself from words of falsehood to the ultimate distance — as it is written: From a false word you shall distance yourself [ Exodus 23:7 ]. And grant me merit through Your abundant mercies to be a man of truth in all matters — to conduct myself in the way of truth and to speak truth in my heart; and may I not deviate and not turn from the center-point of truth right or left. Full of mercy — graciousness to the poor; abundant in lovingkindness and multiplying goodness: give me as a free gift and a generous bestowal of lovingkindness — the attribute of truth. And may the verse be fulfilled: You shall give truth to Yaakov — lovingkindness to Avraham; as You swore to our fathers from ancient times [ Micah 7:20 ]. And through this may we merit to pray in the Land of Israel — in the land of the living. And may we merit to draw the abundance and the blessing from there: an overflow of goodness and blessing and mercy and life and peace and good livelihood and all good from You — upon us and upon all Your people the House of Israel. And may You provide us our livelihood generously from Yourself before we need it — with permissibility and ease and in honor. And do not make us dependent upon gifts of flesh and blood nor upon their loans. Our Father — the Compassionate Father, Hashem G‑d of truth, living G‑d and King of eternity: fill our requests with mercy. And speedily grant us merit to shatter the desire for food from within us. For all is revealed before You — and You know the hidden things of my heart; and how many thousands of obstacles and delays I have regarding this from many angles; until I know not at all how to counsel my own soul regarding this. Act with me according to Your lovingkindness, my Father in Heaven — and do not repay me according to my deeds. Be gracious to me, be gracious to me — as a free gift; and sanctify me in Your supernal holiness as a generous bestowal of lovingkindness. And speedily grant me merit to shatter the desire for food in truth as Your good will desires — and may my small eating be in great holiness and purity for Your great Name alone in absolute truth; without any bodily desire whatsoever. And may I merit through the power of my eating in great holiness — to give thanks and praise and song to Your great and holy Name always; and to always speak words of truth; and to glorify my Maker for the Name of His glorious Kingdom. Until I merit through my speaking in truth in great holiness to be counted among the true tzadikim — men of wonders; who create new heavens and a new earth through their true utterances; and who perform great true wonders in the heavens and on the earth. And may I also merit through Your great power to perform true wonders in the world — to reveal and to publicize Your G‑dliness and Your mastery and Your dominion and Your greatness and Your glory to all who come into the world. And may all of them know that You alone guide Your world with Your good will — and may they recognize the immensity of Your love for Your people Israel: to whom You gave the power to nullify and to change nature through their prayer and to perform great wonders in the world. Master of the Universe — I have spread out my palms before You; act with me as You will through Your mercies; in such a manner that You grant me merit to walk in Your statutes and to observe Your judgments — and to always be as Your good will desires from now and forever. And grant me merit to walk and to come to the Land of Israel — to the land of the living; to the holy land — swiftly and speedily; to roll in its dust and to kiss its clods and to draw from its holy air and to bask in its shade. Have pity and be gracious to me and have mercy upon me — and grant me merit to speedily come in peace to the Land of Israel: the land that You chose above all the lands; the holy land with ten holinesses; the land of the living; the land in which you shall not eat bread in poverty and lack nothing in it. The land which Hashem your G‑d seeks always — the eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year to its end [ Deuteronomy 11:12 ]. Have pity and be gracious to me and have mercy upon me and save me — and grant me merit to speedily arrive at all that I have requested before You: to shatter the desire for food completely; and to merit to the attribute of truth in truth; and to speedily come in peace to the Land of Israel. And save me through Your mercies from poverty and from lack — and may You always draw for me and for my household and for all our company and for all Your people the House of Israel: an overflow of goodness and blessing and good livelihood and mercy and life and peace and all good from now and forever. And may we merit that You are glorified through us in all the worlds. And may the verse be fulfilled in us: Israel — in whom I am glorified [ Isaiah 49:3 ]. And may You save us through Your abundant mercies from every kind of disgrace and shame — and do not hide Your face from us; and may You always be filled with mercy toward us and toward all Your people Israel. And may You sweeten and nullify all the judgments from upon us — and may You save and rescue us from every kind of trouble and evil. And may You turn Your face toward us. And may the verse be fulfilled in us: May Hashem lift up His face toward you and place upon you peace [ Numbers 6:26 ]. Cause Your face to shine upon Your servant and teach me Your statutes [ Psalms 119:135 ]. Cause Your face to shine upon Your servant — save me with Your lovingkindness [ Psalms 31:17 ]. G‑d be gracious to us and bless us — may He cause His face to shine with us, Selah [ Psalms 67:2 ]. And may You fulfill for us the verse: And you shall eat, eat and be satisfied — and you shall praise the Name of Hashem your G‑d Who has dealt with you wondrously; and My people shall never be put to shame. And you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel; and I am Hashem your G‑d and there is no other — and My people shall never be put to shame [ Joel 2:26–27 ]. Hashem G‑d of Hosts — return us; cause Your face to shine and we shall be saved [ Psalms 80:20 ]. Amen and Amen.

Master of the Universe! Master of the Universe! You know that it is impossible for me to set forth my speech before You in completeness in any manner — especially in this matter. Help me! Help me! Save me! Save me! Be gracious to me, be gracious to me! Redeem me! Release me! Rescue me! Save me! Save me please through Your mercies from the evil inclination! Save me from the stupidity of the heart — from the foreskin of the heart [ arlas halev ]. Redeem me and be gracious to me and rescue me through Your abundant mercies — from evil thoughts; from harmful wisdoms: which are the main evil inclination of the heart. Have pity and compassion upon me, have pity and be gracious to me. Redeemer from death and Rescuer from the pit — redeem me from the depths of the sea; redeem me from evil thoughts. Rescue my soul from evil musings that greatly blemish the soul of Israel — as You know, Hashem my G‑d and G‑d of my fathers. Save me, rescue me — from every kind of alien thought and confusion. Which are the main evil inclination of the heart — which is the foreskin of the heart; which block the heart. And they alone were my downfall — for through them I was caught and seized in my iniquities and my immense and great transgressions that I sinned and transgressed and rebelled before You from my youth until this very day. All of which came upon me solely through my not having been careful to sanctify my thought with holy and pure thoughts — and I followed the obstinacy of my heart; and I ruined my deeds through the multitude of evil thoughts and many confusions that I allowed to enter my heart; and I did not overpower them to drive them away from me; until they entwined and rose upon my neck and sapped my strength. Until through them I came to all the blemishes that I blemished before You — and to all the distancing with which I distanced from You until now. Until the path of true repentance was hidden from me — and I know no path at all how to go out and to escape from them. And now: from where shall my help come? From where shall my salvation come? From where shall I seek rest wherein it will be good for me forever? Ahah, Hashem ! Help! Help! Rescue! Rescue! Save! Save! Save me, O G‑d — for the waters have entered my soul [ Psalms 69:2 ]. Save me! Purify me! Sanctify me! Sanctify my thought in Your immense holiness; in Your great holiness; in Your awe-inspiring holiness — before which no Sitra Achra can stand. My Father in Heaven — drive away before Your holiness all the stupidity that is in my heart; all the foreskin of my heart. And may the verse be fulfilled in me through Your mercies: And Hashem your G‑d shall circumcise your heart — and the heart of your offspring; to love Hashem your G‑d with all your heart and with all your soul — for the sake of your life [ Deuteronomy 30:6 ]. Grant me merit to holy and pure thoughts. Save me from evil thoughts. Save me please from evil musings. Save me! Save me! Sanctify my thought through Your abundant mercies; through Your great mercies; through Your immense mercies. Knower of hidden things — have compassion upon me. Full of mercy — may Your innards be moved and stirred toward me. Holy One of Yaakov — sanctify me and purify me. Holy above all holinesses — give me as a free gift and a generous bestowal of lovingkindness Your awe-inspiring holiness; in such a manner that I merit to receive it. Grant me merit speedily — that my heart be empty and hollow from every kind of foreskin of the heart; from every kind of stupidity of the heart; from every kind of alien thought and evil musings and alien wisdoms drawn from the evil inclination. And help me — that I merit to draw into my heart gradually and in measure holy and pure thoughts; pure and sound thoughts; good thoughts which are the good inclination. And may You give me power to prevail the good inclination over the evil inclination; to prevail the holy thoughts over the evil thoughts; to drive away and to remove from my heart all the evil thoughts and confusions; and all the disturbing thoughts in the world. And may I merit to truly think as is fitting — how to truly serve You in a pure and clear thought without any confusion of mind at all. And You shall always be with me. And may You teach me and instruct me Your good ways — and may You attach me to Your holy attributes; until I merit to accept upon myself a complete yoke of Your sovereignty: in love and in fear; in truth and in faith; in great holiness and purity. And may I return to You in complete repentance in truth — and to always cleave to You forever as Your good will desires in truth. And may I merit to swiftly run all this course that I was able to walk in the time when I was under Your rebuke — and may You help me that I merit to speedily repair in my lifetime all the blemishes that I blemished before You from my youth until this very day: through my many and immense and great sins and transgressions and iniquities. Have pity and be gracious to me and have mercy upon me and save me swiftly and speedily — a complete and true salvation; the salvation of the soul and the body in truth; the eternal salvation forever and for all eternity. Help me — for upon You I lean. Save me — for Your Name is called upon us. Do not abandon us and do not cast us away and do not forsake us. Remember Your mercies, Hashem — and Your lovingkindnesses; for they are from eternity [ Psalms 25:6 ]. Remember me, Hashem, with the favor of Your people — recall me with Your salvation [ Psalms 106:4 ]. Purify my heart to serve You in truth. Awake, my glory; awake, the lute and lyre — I shall awaken the dawn [ Psalms 57:9 ]. Awake now! Stir now! Arise now! Stand now! Implore now the face of G‑d with the best of meditation — perhaps He will have pity; perhaps He will have mercy; perhaps He will have pity upon a poor and destitute people; perhaps He will have mercy; perhaps He will have mercy; perhaps He will have mercy. My eyes have wept toward the heights — Hashem, I am oppressed; be my guarantor [ Isaiah 38:14 ]. Master of the entire universe: I know not at all what to say — for there is no word on my tongue; behold, Hashem — You know it all [ Psalms 139:4 ]. I have only come before You, Hashem my G‑d and G‑d of my fathers — full of mercy: to spread out my palms before You and to lift my eyes to the abode of Your holiness. Perhaps there is hope. Give me good hope swiftly and speedily — give me true life; remove from me grief and sighing. Gladden the soul of Your servant — for to You, Hashem, I lift my soul [ Psalms 86:4 ]. Grant me merit speedily to complete repentance in truth — and may I merit to return to the source from which I was hewn. And may I merit through my repentance to the supernal unity and the lower unity [ yichuda ila'ah v'yichuda tata'ah ]. And grant me merit to sanctify myself even more in the two holy months that are the two heads of the year — which are Nissan and Tishrei: which are days of repentance. May I merit each and every year to return in them in complete repentance and to be sanctified in them with additional holiness and great joy. And may I merit to draw upon myself great holiness and complete repentance always from these two months — upon the entire year. And grant me merit to stir and to reveal the ten types of melody [ asarah minei niggun ] — and may I merit speedily to always arrange before You each and every day many songs and praises in a voice of exultation and song for Your great and holy Name; in song and praise and melody and singing and strength and delight; in all the ten holy types of melody. Until we merit that through us be stirred the song that shall be stirred in the future [ hashir sheyit'ar le'asid ] — which is the simple, doubled, tripled, quadrupled song [ shir pashut kaful meshulash merubbah ]; as it is written: The song shall be for you as the night when a festival is sanctified [ Isaiah 30:29 ]. And may the verse be fulfilled in us: And singers like those who pipe — all my springs are in You [ Psalms 87:7 ]. And grant us merit to know and to attain the secrets of the holy Kabbalah — until I merit to attain and to know the hidden ancient Torah [ Oraisa d'Atika Stima'ah ] that is destined to be revealed in the future to come. And grant me merit through Your abundant mercies to fulfill the commandment of tzitzis [ mitzvas tzitzis ] in completeness — with all its particulars and minutiae and intentions and the 613 commandments dependent upon it; with a good heart and with great joy. And may it be the will before You that the commandment of tzitzis that we perform from white wool be considered as though we had also fulfilled the commandment of the blue thread [ tekheles ] of tzitzis . For it is revealed and known before You that it is our will to do Your will — and we desire and yearn to fulfill the commandment of the blue thread in tzitzis ; and if we were to merit to find tekheles for tzitzis we would spend great wealth in order to fulfill the commandment in its completeness. But through our many iniquities our Temple was destroyed and the chilazon [the creature from which tekheles is made] was hidden through our iniquities — and from then we no longer merit to fulfill Your commandment in its completeness. Therefore may it be the will before You that the commandment of white tzitzis be considered before You as though we had fulfilled the commandment of the blue thread in tzitzis . And have mercy upon us and build Your city speedily in our days — and bring us in peace to the holy land. And grant us merit that the chilazon be returned and revealed — and may we merit to fulfill the commandment of the blue thread in tzitzis . And through this may You destroy and shatter and uproot and raze the wicked kingdom from the world. And may the verse be fulfilled: Consume with wrath, consume — and let them be no more; and let them know that G‑d rules in Yaakov to the ends of the earth, Selah [ Psalms 59:14 ]. And grant us merit — us and all Your people the House of Israel — to always be cleaving to You; and to accept upon ourselves the yoke of Your sovereignty with love. And may You draw and pour upon us long, good, and enduring lives. And may the verse be fulfilled in us: And you who cleave to Hashem your G‑d — you are all alive this day [ Deuteronomy 4:4 ]. And may You sweeten and nullify all the judgments from upon us and from upon all Your people the House of Israel always forever — and may You draw upon us an overflow of goodness and blessing and mercy and life and peace and holy wealth [ ashirus dikdushah ]. And may the verse be fulfilled in us: And I shall pour out for you blessing until there is no more sufficiency [ Malachi 3:10 ]. And grant us merit to the joy of a commandment — and help us to gladden a fitting bride and groom; to gladden them with every kind of joy; and to sing and dance before them in great joy and delight; in great holiness and purity. And may we merit through this to unite the supernal Groom and Bride [ chasan v'kallah ha'elyonim ] — and to bring together the wife of youth with her beloved in love and fraternity and fellowship. And may we merit to the supernal unity and the lower unity [ yichuda ila'ah v'yichuda tata'ah ] — and may the four letters of Your great and holy Name be joined together. And may the verse be fulfilled: In your midst is the Holy One — and I shall not come into the city [ Hosea 11:9 ]. And grant me merit to draw near to true tzadikim — and help me and all Your people the House of Israel: that we merit to go out from the alien wisdoms of the nations; and may we not incline our thought toward any alien wisdom at all. Rather may our thought always be cleaving to You and to Your holy Torah — forever and ever. And through this may the light of the true tzadikim grow and be elevated — and may they merit to always attain new supernal attainments. And grant us merit through Your abundant mercies to receive and to enjoy from their great and holy light.

And grant us merit to the holiness of the holy Shabbos — that we merit to receive Shabbosos in great joy and immense and powerful delight; in song and praise, hallel and melody; in exultation, song, mirth and delight; in awe and in love, in truth and in faith; in great holiness and purity. And may we merit through the power of the holiness of Shabbos to shatter and nullify the desire for money from us — that we have no desire or craving for money at all. Rather may we merit to always desire and yearn for the eternal purpose — to be adorned for the day that is entirely Shabbos and repose for eternal life. Full of mercy — have mercy upon us; and fill our requests with mercy: that we merit from now to drive away and uproot and nullify all the evil thoughts from our heart; and may we draw upon ourselves holy and pure thoughts — pure and sound thoughts. And may we begin from now to serve You in truth gradually and in measure as Your good will desires; in such a manner that we merit to speedily arrive at the ultimate completeness — at the true ultimate. Our Father in Heaven — teach us Your ways; instruct us to do Your will. Draw us near to You. Set me as a seal upon Your heart — as a seal upon Your arm; for love is as strong as death; jealousy is as fierce as the grave; its flashes are flashes of a fire; a flame of G‑d [ shalhevesyah ]. Many waters cannot extinguish the love — and rivers cannot sweep it away; if a man were to give all the wealth of his house for the love — he would be utterly scorned [ Song of Songs 8:6–7 ]. Who takes pity upon the poor — have pity upon us; and may You hasten and speed to redeem us in general and in particular; in the physical and the spiritual. And may You bring us our righteous Mashiach — and may we merit and live and see and inherit goodness and blessing for the days of Mashiach and for the life of the World to Come. Return me and I shall return — for You are my G‑d [ Jeremiah 31:18 ]. Return, Hashem — until when? And relent concerning Your servants [ Psalms 90:13 ]. Return us to You, Hashem, and we shall return — renew our days as of old [ Lamentations 5:21 ]. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem, my Rock and my Redeemer [ Psalms 19:15 ]. Amen and Amen. Rescue my soul from the sword — my only one from the grip of a dog [ Psalms 22:21 ]. Save me from the mouth of the lion — and from the horns of the wild ox You have answered me [ Psalms 22:22 ]. For dogs have surrounded me — a company of evildoers has encircled me; like a lion — my hands and my feet [ Psalms 22:17 ]. Master of the Universe — save me from the blemish of the bris . Save me from the pit of destruction — from the mire of the pit [ tit hayaven ]. Save me from the harsh judgment of Gehinnom [ din Gehinnom hakasheh ] that befalls one who blemishes the bris , G‑d forbid. Have pity and compassion upon me. Remember Your mercies, Hashem — and Your lovingkindnesses; for they are from eternity [ Psalms 25:6 ]. Remember and have mercy and rescue and save my miserable soul from the lowest depths. For You know the anguish and the compassion that there is for one who blemished his bris , G‑d forbid, and did not merit to repair it in his lifetime — who descends to the lowest level of the grave with no helper or support; of whom it is impossible for us to imagine in our minds the intensity of the anguish and the very, very bitter and harsh suffering; and the intensity of the compassion upon him — except You alone know this. And You know that there in the World to Come nothing in the world avails — for there You are not forgiving at all; and the main of Your mercy is what You devise thoughts that none of Yours be cast away; and You send and appoint thoughts of repentance to each and every one every single day; and You extend Your hand to receive those who return; and You assist and help to truly return to You — to all who come to be purified. Therefore I have come before You, Hashem my G‑d and G‑d of my fathers — Who watches over the wicked and desires his vindication: have pity and compassion upon my precious soul; have pity and compassion upon me; have pity and be gracious to me; and redeem me from the blemish of the bris . Rescue me from mire that I not sink — may I be rescued from my enemies and from the deep waters [ Psalms 69:15 ]. Let not the torrent of waters sweep over me — and let not the deep swallow me; and let not the pit shut its mouth upon me [ Psalms 69:16 ]. Save me through Your mercies from the bitterness of the sword of the angel of death that has two mouths [ terei piyos ]. Save me from the angels of destruction — the harsh and cruel ones called dogs [ klavim ]: who tear the soul of one who blemishes the bris , G‑d forbid; and lead him to Gehinnom and cry out: give, give [ hav-hav ]. Save me from their harsh dread! Save me from their harsh judgment — from their judgment that is bitter to the ultimate bitterness. Save me from bitter waters [ mayin miririm ] — from impure waters [ mayin mesa'avin ]. Have pity and compassion; have pity and have mercy; have pity and rescue; have pity and redeem my very oppressed soul. And help me and save me from now — that I not blemish my bris at all: neither in thought, speech, or deed; nor in sight or hearing or the other senses; neither in error nor in deliberation, neither under compulsion nor willingly. And may I not stray after my heart and my eyes — and may I not follow the obstinacy of my heart any more. And may You give me power and might from Yourself — to shatter my evil inclination and to conquer my desire. And may You give me a good inclination — and may my heart be in my own possession. Master of the Universe — have pity and have mercy upon me; have pity and be gracious to me. Be gracious to me, Hashem — be gracious to me; for I have greatly been sated with contempt. Greatly has my soul been sated with the scorn of the complacent [ Psalms 123:3–4 ]. I have greatly been sated with the bitterness of the desires of this world and its vanities. Look away from me that I may recover — before I go and am no more; look away from me that I may recover a little [ Psalms 39:14 ]. Do not spurn the toil of Your hands [ Job 10:3 ]. Behold — I stand before You like a poor man at the entrance; like the eye of the servant toward his master; like the eye of the captive and the guilty one who awaits a free gift — asking and seeking for his soul; and whose eyes are spent all the day for a generous bestowal of lovingkindness: so are my eyes always toward Hashem — until He be gracious to me and return me in complete repentance before Him in truth. I spread out my hands all the day. My soul is like a weary land toward You, Selah [ Psalms 143:6 ]. And even though my words too are mixed with many false intentions — what shall I do, my Master? Where shall I flee? Master of the entire universe — to Hashem I shall call and to Hashem I shall entreat [ Psalms 30:9 ]. What profit is there in my blood — in my going down to the pit? Will the dust acknowledge You? Will it tell of Your truth? [ Psalms 30:10 ]. Act with me as You will act through Your abundant mercies — in such a manner that You save me from now from every kind of blemish of the bris in the world. And may You rebuke the spirit of folly and madness [ ruach shtus v'shiga'on ] and drive it away and distance it and completely nullify it from upon us from now and forever. And all that I sinned and transgressed and rebelled before You in the blemish of the bris from my youth until this very day — and every single drop of wasted seed [ tipah v'tipah keri ] that went out from me for nothing: in error and in deliberation, under compulsion and willingly — for all of it may You forgive and pardon me, O G‑d of forgiveness — gracious One Who multiplies forgiveness. And may You gather in our scattered ones from the four corners of the earth — and may You return and gather them in holiness a second time. And may You fill all the Names that I blemished in Your great Name — and be with me always; in such a manner that I merit to the rectification of the bris in completeness in truth as Your good will desires. And may I merit from now to be sanctified in great holiness and purity in truth — and may I not return again to foolishness; and may I not do evil in Your eyes any more. And may I merit to always add holiness upon holiness — and to sanctify myself in what is permitted to me; in great holiness and purity as Your good will desires in truth from now and forever. And therefore — may it be the will before You, Hashem our G‑d and G‑d of our fathers: that You always be in my help; and may You help me to pray my prayer before You with great and immense intention — with all my heart and soul in absolute truth. And may I merit to intend well in every single word of the holy prayer — and may no word go forth from my mouth in my prayer without intention. And may I make my ears hear well — very well — what I bring forth from my mouth in my prayer and supplication and request; and in every kind of songs and praises and thanksgivings that I merit to arrange before You each and every day always. And grant me merit to sweet waters [ mayin metikin ] — until I merit to feel the sweetness and pleasantness and loveliness of the words of the holy prayer. And may I merit to feel the sweetness of every single word of the prayer within all my bones — and may all my bones be fattened through the holy words of prayer. And may I merit to truly fulfill the verse: All my bones shall say — Hashem, who is like You? Rescuer of the poor from one stronger than him — and the destitute and poor from one who robs him [ Psalms 35:10 ]. And may my prayer ascend before You for mercy and favor before the Throne of Your Glory. And may the lion of the supernal holy Chariot [ arye shebamerkavah ha'elyonah hakedoshah ] descend to eat my prayer and to raise it before the Throne of Your Glory. And through Your abundant mercies may You save my prayer from the insolent dogs [ klavim azei nefesh ] — that they not tear my prayer, G‑d forbid. And may You save me from the brazen-faced and from brazenness — that the brazen-faced of the generation not attack my prayer; and that they not dispute my prayer. And may You give us the power to stand against the brazen-faced of the generation who dispute and prosecute against our prayer — and who seek to confuse us from our prayer, G‑d forbid. And may You help us to humble them and shatter them and lower them to the very dust — may they all bow and fall before us; and may they return to You in truth and recognize the power of Your sovereignty. For You know that we have no power to stand against them except through Your abundant mercies and Your great power — and through the power and merit of the true tzadikim who engaged in prayer all their days; whose power of holiness can also protect us — that we merit in their merit to sanctify and purify ourselves in great holiness in truth; and to pray with great intention and self-sacrifice and great joy. And to save our prayer from all the brazen-faced of the generation. He raises the poor from the dust — He lifts the destitute from the ash-heap [ Psalms 113:7 ]. Have pity and be gracious to us and have compassion upon us — and fill our requests with mercy for the sake of Your great and holy Name that is called upon us; for Your Name is shared in our name. And therefore — have mercy upon me and grant me merit and instruct me and teach me: that I merit to truly know how to conduct myself in the matter of the fasts that I am obligated to fast for repentance upon my many iniquities. For You alone know all the obstacles and all the doubts and confusions that I have regarding this — until I know not at all how to counsel my own soul in this matter of fasts. And You know how much I need to fast — until all my days would not suffice to fast even one part of a thousand-thousands of what I need to fast for the repair of a single sin and a single blemish from my very many sins and transgressions and blemishes. And there is no one among us who knows how to think thoughts to settle our mind at all in this matter — as is revealed before You, Master of all. Have pity and be gracious to me and have mercy upon me — and guide me in Your truth and teach me the truth truly: how to conduct myself in this matter and in all the matters and conduct of the world; in such a manner that I merit to go out from evil to good; from darkness to great light; and to return in complete repentance before You in truth and with a whole heart. And may I merit to always be in repentance in great holiness and purity in truth. And grant me merit that my eating be in great holiness and purity without any bodily desire whatsoever — only to eat a little in great holiness to satisfy my holy soul [ nefesh dikdushah ]. And may I merit to be counted among the tzadikim who eat to the satiety of their soul of holiness — as it is written: The tzadik eats to the satiety of his soul [ Proverbs 13:25 ]. Master of the Universe — Master of the entire universe: I spread out my palms before You. To You alone my eyes look; to You alone my thoughts watch; for a free gift; for a generous bestowal of lovingkindness. For the salvation of Hashem my eyes hope and wait in stillness. Waters have poured over my head — I said: I am cut off [ Lamentations 3:54 ]. I called Your Name, Hashem — from the lowest depths [ Lamentations 3:55 ]. From the belly of the grave I cried out — You heard my voice [ Lamentations 3:56 ]. You heard my voice — do not shut Your ear from my relief, from my cry [ Lamentations 3:56 ]. And I shall sit and wait and hope for Your mercies — until Hashem looks down and sees from heaven. Help me — for upon You I lean. My eyes are always toward Hashem — for He shall bring out my feet from the net [ Psalms 25:15 ]. May He send my help from the sanctuary — and from Zion may He support me [ Psalms 20:3 ]. And from every kind of impurity and contamination — speedily bring me out; and with every kind of holiness sanctify me; and to every kind of true repentance grant me merit; and to good life — long life, eternal life — speedily bring me. And to the holy land speedily bring me. And with all the rectifications rectify me. And from the strife of tongues in His Sukkah may He conceal me. Do not cast me away at the time of old age — when my strength fails do not forsake me [ Psalms 71:9 ]. Do not cast me away from before You — and Your holy spirit do not take from me [ Psalms 51:13 ]. Do not forsake me, Hashem my G‑d — do not be distant from me. Hasten to my help — Hashem, my salvation [ Psalms 38:22–23 ]. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable before You — Hashem, my Rock and my Redeemer [ Psalms 19:15 ]. Amen and Amen.
