§1

The matter of Kedushah d'Sidra — the Kedushah of "Uva l'Tziyon" that is recited in Lashon HaKodesh and in Lashon Targum, through which the shefa is drawn below (as brought in the Kavanos):

Based on what Rabbainu z"l wrote in the ma'amar "Ki saitzai lamilchamah" in Likutay Tinyana Siman 82 — study the entire ma'amar well. There are the aspects of kaseder [in order] and shelo kaseder [not in order] — the Alef-Bais and Tashrak [reverse order] — the aspects of achor vaKedem [behind and before]. This is Adam and Chavah: kaseder and shelo kaseder. The Name Havayah with the filling of Alefin = gematria Mah (45) = Adam. Chavah = Malchus/Peh [mouth] = Torah sheb'al Peh = speech.

The principle: when things go for a person shelo kaseder — it is because he divides the aspect of Malchus for himself (= gadlus/arrogance: "Ana emloch" — "I will rule"). Then things go shelo kaseder, for he is within the aspect of shelo kaseder (= Malchus/Chavah/Tashrak). But when this aspect of Chavah/Malchus is connected to HaKadosh Baruch Hu (= Adam), then things go kaseder — for "b'asar d'is d'char" [where the male aspect is present...]. The aspect of kaseder is called Yud. When one divides the four aspects of Malchus for himself → shelo kaseder → davai [sickness]: "V'chol laivav davai" — "And every heart is sick" (Y'shayah 1), for shelo kaseder = heart-sickness: "Tocheles m'mushachah machalah laiv" — "Hope deferred makes the heart sick."

When a person sees that things are going shelo kaseder — he should know he has gadlus → do t'shuvah → lower himself → become Mah → Chavah returns to Adam → kaseder. The essential chiyus of Malchus = Mah = Chochmah (Ko'ach Mah) = the chiyus of everything: "Mah kochainu mah chayainu" — "What is our strength, what is our life"; "HaChochmah t'chayeh" — "Wisdom gives life" (Koheles 7). "LaHashem ha'aretz um'lo'ah" — "The earth and its fullness belong to Hashem" (Tehillim 24): when the earth (= Chavah/Malchus) is connected to Hashem → it is in its fullness and completeness.

The essential t'shuvah is in the month of Elul — for then Moshe opened a well-trodden path. Moshe connected himself even to the lowest of the low and gave his life for them. In every ascent he found HaKadosh Baruch Hu there: "Im esak shamayim sham Atah" — "If I ascend to heaven, You are there" — this is the secret of the Kavanos of Elul.

§2

This is the aspect of Kedushah d'Sidra recited after tefillah. Tefillah = Malchus/Peh: "Adoshem s'fasai tiftach." The essential completeness of tefillah = connecting and unifying tefillah with Hashem in complete unity. Whoever merits tefillah properly in completeness — the tefillah is simple unity with Hashem: "Hu t'hilasecha v'Hu Elokecha" — "He is your praise and He is your God." Such tefillah is certainly accepted: "V'hayah terem yik'ra'u va'Ani e'eneh" — "Before they call, I will answer" — and his request is fulfilled immediately. When tefillah (= shelo kaseder/Chavah/Malchus) is included in kaseder (= Adam/HKB"H) → everything becomes kaseder → all requests fulfilled: "Y'malai Hashem kol mish'alosecha" — "May Hashem fulfill all your requests" (Tehillim 20).

But one who does not merit his tefillah being included in Him — due to machshavos zaros [foreign thoughts] in tefillah (= p'niyos/gadlus = "Ana emloch" — dividing Malchus for himself) → shelo kaseder → tefillah not accepted → request not fulfilled = "tocheles m'mushachah machalah laiv." Therefore he must do t'shuvah, lower himself → return to Mah → shelo kaseder is included in kaseder → request fulfilled → kaseder.

This is Kedushah d'Sidra after tefillah: to draw the shefa. To draw the shefa that comes through tefillah (= fulfilling one's request) — the aspect of shelo kaseder must be nullified, returned and included in kaseder. Therefore we say Kedushah d'Sidra → shelo kaseder included in kaseder. Kadosh = Chochmah: "Kodesh Yisrael laHashem raishis" (Yirmiyah 2), and "Raishis Chochmah" (Tehillim 111) — Kodesh = Chochmah = Mah/Adam. "Atem k'ruyim Adam" — "You [Yisrael] are called Adam" = Mah = Chochmah = Kadosh. "Yisrael alah bamachshavah t'chilah" — "Yisrael arose in thought first" = Chochmah (thought = Chochmah). Kedushah = Chochmah/Mah/Adam = kaseder. This is the aspect of the yud minay k'dushah [ten types of holiness].

"Ain k'dushah b'fachos mai'asarah" — "There is no kedushah with fewer than ten" — kedushah = kaseder = Yud [= ten]. We recite the Kedushah in Lashon HaKodesh and Lashon Targum. Lashon Targum = shelo kaseder = Chavah, whose essential construction was through tardaimah [deep sleep]: "Vayapail Hashem Elokim tardaimah" (Beraishis 2). Tardaimah = the numerical value of Targum. Lashon HaKodesh and Lashon Targum (from which the seventy languages draw) = kaseder and shelo kaseder. The essential ordering of language is Lashon HaKodesh — through which the world was created — the true, properly ordered arrangement = kaseder. The arrangements of other languages = shelo kaseder = "lashon ilgim" [stammering tongues] (incomplete, not ordered according to the six days of Creation).

Therefore we recite Kedushah d'Sidra in Lashon HaKodesh and Lashon Targum — so that Targum (= shelo kaseder) is included within Kodesh/Lashon HaKodesh (= kaseder/Chochmah). This is why it is called "Lashon HaKodesh" — because this language is included in kaseder = Kadosh. Now we include also Lashon Targum (source of the seventy languages = shelo kaseder = tardaimah) within Kodesh/Lashon HaKodesh → shefa drawn → all heart's requests fulfilled → through shelo kaseder being included in kaseder. Therefore it is called "K'dusha d'Sidra" — "d'Sidra" specifically — because the essence of this Kedushah is to make everything kaseder → heart's requests fulfilled = the descent of shefa at Kedushah d'Sidra.

§3

This is the aspect of the three k'dushos corresponding to the three Alefin in the Name Mah (= Adam). This is: "Kadish bishmay m'roma ila'ah bais sh'chintaih, kadish al ar'ah" — "Holy in the heavens above, the dwelling of His Sh'chinah; holy upon the earth" — the aspect of the t'shuvah above: "Im esak shamayim sham Atah v'atzi'ah sh'ol hineka" — "If I ascend to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in the grave, behold You." This itself is Kadish in the highest heavens, Kadish upon the earth. "M'lo chol ha'aretz K'vodo" — "The fullness of the whole earth is His Glory" = "LaHashem ha'aretz um'lo'ah" — Kedushah drawn upon Malchus/Eretz → it is in fullness and completeness → Malchus/Eretz included in kaseder/Adam/Kadosh.

§4

This is the aspect of Ashray recited beforehand — "T'hilah l'Dovid" arranged according to the Alef-Bais, containing all twenty-two letters. T'hilah l'Dovid = Malchus/Peh — so that it will be included in the Alef-Bais kaseder through Kedushah d'Sidra.

§5

This is the aspect of "Uva l'Tziyon Go'ail ul'shavay fesha" — "A redeemer comes to Tziyon and to those who repent from sin." In Tziyon — where the Bais HaMikdash and Kodesh Kodashim stood — all ten types of kedushah of Eretz Yisrael are included. Therefore Tziyon is the Sha'ar HaShamayim [Gate of Heaven] through which all tefillos ascend. The world in its totality, vis-à-vis Hashem, is in the aspect of shelo kaseder (= Tashrak: "b'Tishray nivra ha'olam" — "In Tishray the world was created" — Tishray = Tashrak). Kaseder = Mah; the world = yaish [existence/something] = shelo kaseder (the world is governed through Malchus = shelo kaseder).

The essential chiyus and existence of the world is through the world being included in His Kedushah — through Yisrael K'doshim who sanctify themselves and the world → the world is included in kaseder (= Kodesh) = the essential chiyus. The essential chiyus and existence of the world is through Eretz Yisrael where all ten types of kedushah exist — kedushah above kedushah (the Haichal holier than the rest, until Lifnay v'Lifnim [the innermost chamber] = Kodesh Kodashim). The Even Sh'siyah [Foundation Stone] — the tenth and highest kedushah, containing all ten types — is the point from which the world was founded. This point has no physical dimension — it is in the aspect of Mah. This point (containing all ten types of kedushah) is included in Mah = Chochmah = Kodesh. Therefore the essential ascent of all tefillos is through the Even Sh'siyah — through there, tefillos (= shelo kaseder) are included in Mah (= kaseder).

Therefore in Kedushah d'Sidra we mention the kedushah of Tziyon: "Uva l'Tziyon Go'ail" — for the essential inclusion of shelo kaseder in kaseder (= Kedushah d'Sidra) is through Tziyon, where the Even Sh'siyah stands, through whose point tefillos ascend into Mah/Kadosh.

"Uva l'Tziyon Go'ail" — for the essential aspect of kaseder will be at the coming of the Go'ail Tzedek speedily in our days. Now everything runs shelo kaseder — Yisrael are below in lowliness and the nations are in greatness, contrary to the proper order. But when Mashi'ach comes → everything will be kaseder: Yisrael above, and among Yisrael itself, whoever is closer to Hashem in truth will be in greatness and goodness (unlike now, when things run shelo kaseder). Therefore we mention "Uva l'Tziyon Go'ail" in Kedushah d'Sidra — to arouse the sparkling of Mashi'ach, to draw even now the aspect of kaseder = shefa, berachah, and goodness.
