Put down prayers and Torah study for a future time of need He said: Behold the storekeeper is in the practice of selling on credit, to be paid some time after, so why does a person not say some chapters of Psalms, or learn (Torah), or do other mitzvos, and they will remain ready by him for a time of need; for there will be a time when he will need it, when he will collect his wages and his accomplishments, so why should he not do as the storekeeper who gives merchandise on credit.
